It’s a mom-and-pop’s shop, coffee shop, but some of the best coffee I had here in Tyler, you could tell that they put their love into making the drinks one of my favorite is a vanilla latte there’s chunks of sugar it’s delicious!

This is my favorite cup of coffee in Tyler. James Brady is both the proprietor and barista. He is exceptionally well schooled in the various vendors and types of coffee beans, and takes exceptional care in crafting a fantastic cup of coffee. He also offers a variety of teas which he is equally knowledgable about.

I came here with my three sisters on a Saturday morning and had one of the best coffee drinks I’ve been had!!! I ordered the Italian Soda($ 3.50) with cold-brewed espresso and cream and it was better than an iced coffee. It was slightly sweet and very refreshing! I will order this again anytime I’m here! My sisters ordered the Iced French Vanilla Latte and the Iced Mocha and liked them. The iced mocha was very chocolatey, almost like chocolate milk. There were no iced decaffeinated drinks available. And, for moms, you might want to know that there wasn’t a changing table available in the bathroom. :) Nevertheless, this place was kid-friendly. :) It had a very warm, small town feel.

Very nice support your local business owners! No fru-fru coffee here… But great place to have a nice cup of joe! Only wish my Sunday morning walk could include Brady’s XoXo

Great little place. Just moved to the area and I’ve already been three times. I’ve had a regular coffee, a latte, and a café au lait and all were excellent. The coffee cake was delicious as well. If you order an espresso drink definitely get the cinnamon and sugar on top. It is so good! I haven’t tried it yet, but the loose leaf tea looks to be of very good quality as well. The atmosphere is neighborhood coffee shop meets artsy, with art from local artists covering the walls. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. This place is definitely worth a visit. Only wish they were open in the evenings as well.

Brady’s is definitely the kind of place that grows on you. The owner bakes his own muffins which are delicious(if they have double apple just buy it, trust me it won’t be there that long) and really seems to know his stuff regarding coffee. This may not be as big of a deal now that we have other shops in town that take their stuff seriously as well(Tazza, and Downtown Coffee Lounge) but he’s been in town longer than any of them and is a true professional. If you don’t know what to order(or you just want to test him) ask the owner what he recomends, I think you’ll be impressed by his knowledge and the care he takes in his product. I can’t vouch for the other reviewers but I can say that from my experience the other patrons have never been a bother.

Wow… Great coffee! The atmosphere is quiet and nice. Lots of people in the morning. They have homemade treats like muffins n bread n they have bagels n all that good stuff. At starbucks by the time I’m at the bottom of the cup I’m tired of the taste but Bradys is good to the last drop… O and the sugar cream n cinnamon on top is a must! Love it!

Don’t read this book by the cover. Anytime you see toddy makers for sale at a coffee house, then you know that the baristas take their profession seriously. This unassuming standalone building in the«Brick Streets» area in Tyler is a beacon of hope for coffee lovers. There are at least 15 types of freshly roasted beans to choose from, and wide variety of drinks on the menu. After my brother spotted to toddy makers for sale, we both changed our Latte orders to Iced Lattes… and wow!!! This place is good. I’ll be in Tyler for six days, and I know that I will at least have 6 drinks from Brady’s. This place is big with his and hers bathrooms, plus there is plenty of local art on the walls. It is located within a long walk or short drive from East Texas Medical Center, Tyler Junior College and Mother Frances Hospital.

I read a positive review about this place and I suspect it was written by the owners. My experience was less than ideal. There were older men telling off-color jokes and using profanity and racist comments. The shop is small, so everyone, including the management/owners were within earshot. For a presumably«spiritual» location, this unacceptable behavior seemed acceptable. Don’t let the positive review suggesting a Christian environment fool you.
