A tiny bit high on my price scale for a cup. The latte art is beautiful but I’m usually disappointed by the warmth of my latte. I don’t order extra hot because I feel like it changes the flavor but I also want my coffee to be a bit warmer. Also, they need more parking! I’m absolutely NOT paying to park at the garage to get a coffee when they don’t validate parking. :/ Flavors are good. Staff is friendly.

Not often will you find a small Texas town with single-origin coffee. Too often will you find brown bags of «dark roast blends» and drip coffee that tastes of nothing more than burnt smores with some vanilla or pecan flavoring. Enter Foundry to the city of Tyler. In the rather slow, yet-ever-growing downtown corridor, this shop serves high-quality baked goods to pair with your caffeinated beverage of choice – beans roasted by Oak Cliff Roasters or the new kid on the block, Porch Culture. This establishment might only be the only one offering a Kalita Wave Pourover(look it up if you are behind the times) within 100 miles – next town over with this type of manual coffee might be Dallas. If you find your way through Tyler, make sure to utilize this pit stop. The edgy, minimalist, dark, and sleek feel will send you off well.

Delightful little place in downtown Tyler! I was in town from the Dallas area for a meeting, and stopped in here to kill an hour. It’s definitely a young, hipster-type crowd, but even this middle-aged guy enjoyed the atmosphere. Not a lot on the menu(which was fine with me — I’m not into most of the fancy coffee drinks) but the Americano was outstanding. One word of warning — don’t park in the lot just to the south of the building. It’s a law firm’s parking lot, and from the signs(and the polite warning from the barista), they law firm is quick to tow if you park there. Certainly an enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely go back if I find myself in downtown Tyler again.
