Absolutely terrible service. They don’t want to sell chicken.
Asked for 10 piece chicken with thighs. Said it will take long time. Offered to wait… they said it will take 40 minutes. Said OK, mix and match different chicken. Said some unintelligible answer.

Oh… where to begin!!! This place once charged my $ 3900.00 instead of $ 39.00. They rectified the issue within a couple days, but still —
Anyway, this location will almost certainly always forget a side dish or two for large meals. But they are very polite and and always try to apologize and make it right… Good always hot and service is good, except for the forgetfulness of the staff sometimes.

Everytime I go with my family we always order spicy chicken. They NEVER have any. Always say they ran out or some excuse. The next KFC isn’t so close. I don’t recommend this KFC. Unless you want to hear an excuse about everything then go. Other than that do not.

This is by far the worst KFC that I’ve ever gone too. It’s very hit or miss wheteher you’ll get decent food or not. I’ve gotten used to this during later hours. But I just went there 45 mins after they opened and only ordered a chicken little. I don’t think theres a more simple order possible. Yet they found a way to screw it up. I was the only person in the drive thru and still had to wait a few minutes. Just to find that I didnt even receive and actual chicken strip. I got a cut off corner of a chicken breast or something. I didnt even get a receipt with a number to call and complain. Ive had it with this dump. Id give it zero or even minus stars if I could. Do not go here unless youre literally starving to death and every other place is closed and out of business.

The hell happened to this place? So dirty inside and the bathroom so gross. Bowl was clogged and water was about to overflow, I decided to hold my pee instead.
The chicken… uggghhhh. Looked weird, it was dark brown. I thought it was just burned, but it wasnt. It must have been fried in oil that has been used so many times. The chicken might have been reheated as well.

I ordered their 3 peice combo meal and got exactly that! Way better than the ramen place in the same parking lot if compared relatively!

I just came here for my lunch break. Drive thru. Have a good experience/​speedy food. $ 5 fill up with drumstick and thigh. Great deal. chicken taste great, cookie was perfect and biscuit was perfectly light, fluffy and warm. Totally got my money’s worth. Im a full happy camper :)

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, but only a few times a year, really. The inside is pretty gross and hasn’t been updated since the 90’s. While every other fast food restaurant is remodelling, I guess KFC wants to spend their money elsewhere. Either the quality of their food has gone down over the years or my taste and attention to detailed has evolved since I was a child, but their food isn’t that great anymore.
Recently, I went and got the $ 5 fill ups. It seemed like a good deal at first. 3 chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, biscuit, cookie, and drink. We ordered 2 fill ups with chicken tenders and 2 with drumstick + thigh (each meal came with one drumstick and one thigh). It wasn’t until we got home that we opened the box and they gave us 2 tiny chicken tenders in both the boxes instead of 3 and they neglected to give us their advertised dipping sauce.
Just go somewhere else to eat. This and the Taco Bell next door always forget something in your order, cheating you of your money.

Helpful staff with with fast service. Walking inside the place it was freshly clean after the lunch rush. The chicken is as always but the mashed potatoes seemed a little too watered down.

My drive-​thru orders here are actually correct most times. Yesterday was an exception, when «Roberto» didn’t seem to realize that «b/​w» on the order means that I paid extra for white meat in my combo. When I got home, I found a leg and thigh anyway.
Quality consistency is the biggest problem at this KFC location. Some days, the biscuits are fresh and light, but most often they are rocks. Some days, the chicken is hot and juicy, but other days it’s dry chicken jerky. I’ve tried different times of day, and it doesn’t seem to matter. In the past year, orders are often met with «let me check if we have any» when I ask for spicy crispy chicken (batting around 500 on that one). Yesterday, the corn-​on-​the-​cob had no flavor, and the mac & cheese was full of hard edges from being allowed to dry out before stirring and serving. With a new Popeyes Chicken 1 block down Alvarado Blvd, you’d think they’d step things up. They don’t. I think they know that Popeyes is in an extremely busy shopping center with difficult parking and no drive-​thru.
Restauranteur tip: If you want to rake in big money, open a really good southern-​style fried chicken joint in Fremont. You will have no competition.

I use to love coming to this specific KFC becuz I would always be greeted with exceptional customer service. But tonight I’m disappointed becuz the girls were very dry and just not friendly. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll still come back in hopes that when I come back the people that normally give me the customer service will be working the drive-​through

I ordered a 3 piece meal at the drive thru. The girl wasn’t friendly at all and she was speaking really fast like she was trying to rush me through the order. She didn’t offer me any sauce, give me any napkins, or give me a fork to eat my food.

Been Living Down the Street from this KFC for 22 Years and IT NEVER FAILS they Always Forget Something, I Mean I Guess We Should Double Check Our ORDER but We Were Hungry this Evening they Forgot My Daughter’s Large Mac n Cheese JUST A REMINDER to DOUBLE CHECK when Going Through the Drive Thru… Cuz its a Hassel When your all Seated Down and a Family Member has to Stop Eating and Drive Back because of of the Employee Forgetting Something This Happens A LOT WITH THIS LOCATION

Okay that’s an old jingle. But I do come here a lot with my kids. They love the Go Cups, while I get my grilled chicken. I wish KFC will one day offer a healthy side dish that goes with the grilled chicken. The cole slaw in watered-​down mayo, and the corn on cob dipped in butter, are not viable options.
There is an older lady who works at this location and she is very kind.

The only reason why I’m giving this place ³⁄₅ is because of one bad experience in particular. I went to the drive thru and the woman working the drive thru asked me if I wouldn’t mind waiting in the front parking lot because the wedges weren’t ready. I didn’t mind at all! When I parked in front, I watched as an employee was walking out of kfc with one of her friends, turns out their car was right next to mine. The worker seemed to be clocked out because she was about to leave the kfc. Her friend actually opened the passenger side door and hit my car not just once. or twice… but a total of 3 times! And he didn’t acknowledge me once. (Mind my window was down and I didn’t park really close to their car. I left them a lot of room to open their door) I was in shock. They both ignored me and didn’t look my way until I told him to stop. You serious? I had to ASK someone to stop hitting my car.
The only thing that made this a positive experience was the woman working the drive thru. She was so sweet. She gave me a free soda for waiting outside in the heat for so long.

KFC’s food has too much msg/​additives lately.

KFC or Popeye? Recently have been going to Popeye more often and decided to go here for a change.
I had to pick up early lunch and was there right after their opening at 10. Turns out they were having trouble with their fryer and I had to wait 10 mts to pick up my order. No harm, no foul… it happens.
I got the 10 piece meal with mac and cheese, biscuits and green beans for ~$ 24. It also came with a free cake. Everything hit the spot and the cake was very good. I had asked for the lemon cake but got the chocolate one. No harm, no foul… it happens. I guess I am in a forgiving mood.

Glad Giselle helped me out at the counter when I ordered. She knew a lot about the menu and helped me figure which deal would give me the most bang for my buck. If you go here, ask for Giselle! She has great customer service skills.
I love the Mac n cheese. I can order a large and almost finish it; so amazeballs. Also, they have specials everyday so you’re bound to get a great deal. It’s close to home and v convenient. Recommend coming here compared to other KFC chains. Only 3 stars bc, come on, it’s KFC…

This KFC is located inside the Alvarado Place Shopping Center here in Union City.
Ever since the previous manger, Susan retired and left KFC, this KFC has been going down hill based on the other reviews here. Now, today I came to this KFC, and had a decent experience.
We wanted to know how much a bucket of chicken was. We thought it was 12 pieces for $ 12. Nope, the prices are as follows:
10 Pieces of Chicken, $ 12.
12 Pieces of Chicken, $ 16.
That’s quite a HUGE difference in the price?! 4 more dollars for 2 pieces of Chicken?! That’s kinda outrageous KFC…
The Chicken was alright, nothing special.
We wanted Biscuits so the the lady at the register asked us how many we wanted. We told her 4, and she gave us 4 biscuits @ 2 for 89 Cents.
Also, you MUST get the Apple Turnovers (Pies), they are really delicious! (Might I say, they are much better than McDonald’s Apple Pies, and also cheaper!)
2 Apple Pies for $ 1.47! McDonald’s charges $ 1 each… Get them here, they are better and more delicious!
It’s a good thing we checked our order before we left because they forgot our biscuits in our order! Always check your orders from now on because the manager has changed and they do tend to forget things… At least the person said sorry for forgetting our biscuits.
Still however, it’s 4 stars. The Apple Pies are the things to get!
It’s either this KFC or the one on Fremont Blvd with the A&W Root Beer…
