Fantastic food and friendly service! Love their combo fried rice and almond chicken! The cook is wonderful and such a nice man. Centrally located and a great choice for Asian cooking!

Need to lay off the salt. Super salty teriyaki sauce I could barely eat it.

This is our«go-to» neighborhood teriyaki place, and it has been for years. Not really flashy from the street or inside, but if you want great food, big portions at a good price, and a dependable experience, this is it. It’s great to have a place like this when the urge for teriyaki strikes, and you won’t have to experiment with yet another strip-mall joint. Definitely one of University Place’s gems!

Chicken teriyaki and gyoza is the best! That is all I get here. It’s close to my house so I can call on the way out the door and it is ready when I get there most of the time. The guy at the front counter is a cool guy and very friendly.

Once again, not a fan of Asian food, but the hubs could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He orders the spicy chicken and Mongolian beef. I ordered party platters for his graduation party… pretty expensive and the cook did not know the correct amount for the number of people(we ended up running out of food and had to order pizza in a rush). I would not recommend this place for a party, but if your in the mood for sit down or take out… it is worth it :) Here’s a HOT tip– When they say spicy… they mean spicy!

This place has a huge menu, but the best things on it are the CHICKENTERIYAKI and CHICKENFRIEDRICE. Avoid the egg flower soup… Chicken katsu and GYOZA are also on point. This was our regular place, its really tasty teriyaki– just make sure you order the right items. Once in awhile I’d get the bento box which was also decent.

Consistent, fast, and super tasty. This place is great if you want quality, affordable chinese and teriyaki food. The mongolian beef and teriyaki chicken breast are my personal favorites, but really I’ve liked everything I’ve tried here. Food tastes the best when you dine in, but I use them for take-out all the time and the quality stays consistently good.

Good teriyaki and yakisoba noodles, it’s pretty standard for most teriyaki based places. Most bad reviews have come from take-out. Working food service, the quality of take-out is no where near the quality of dine in, but even to-go my food has still been decent.

Never going back. Bought the Won Ton Soup yesterday for take-out. The soup was so hot it melted the lid and spilled and burned my daughter. There is absolutely no good reason to serve food so hot it melts the container it’s sold in. My cashew chicken was pretty blah too.

This place has fast service however their food is nasty. If you must go here, stick with chicken. Do not order their beef Teriyaki. It will you give you diarrhea as they use old frozen meat. You can taste it. Be sure to ask for side of Teriyaki sauce if you order to go as they don’t include any for you..

Bland and disappointing from start to finish. The food we ordered for delivery was left on the counter without any effort to keep it warm. The egg drop soup was excessively salty and tasted«off». The egg rolls were limp and flavorless. The General Tso’s chicken was completely flavorless. 1 star food with a 3 star price. I’ve had better Chinese food from the frozen food aisle.

Probably the best Teriyaki place in University Place, the dining décor is not the best but plenty of seating and service is pretty typical, you order, you pick it up, you go eat it. Second best Teriyaki place I’ve been to, Joy Teriyaki in Tacoma is the best, everything I’ve ordered from here has been pretty good.

So the food is amazing. I have eaten here quite a few times. Good portions friendly staff. I’ve tried quite a few dishes and there wasn’t one I didn’t like. But the big reason I give it such a low rating was because while waiting for my order to go I had to use the restroom. Worst mistake ever it was absolutely disgusting. The floor sticky, the seat covers were out. The biggest thing was the sign on the trash can saying not to flush toilet paper, but instead throw it away. I am used to seeing signs that ask not to flush paper towels or feminine hygiene, but never toilet paper. So the smell was absolutely gut wrenching. I am in no way a germaphobe, but I couldn’t use that restroom. So I took my food home but couldn’t enjoy it because I felt so queasy. It’s a shame though because I can’t see myself going there again after that.

This is a decent Chinese place, even though Koreans run the joint. Their menu is huge!!! So many choices and combinations of chicken, pork, beef, seafood and vegetables. The place is tiny, I would say about 20 people can fit in there. You can get orders to go and the food comes out quickly and hot. For dinner, I got the bento box which contained general tso chicken, 3 pot stickers, 1 egg roll, 1 tempura shrimp, half of a California roll, sticky rice and a salad. My other half got the teriyaki chicken and Mongolian beef combo. He thought it was mediocre. Otherwise I’ll go back to it… But I wish they actually a Chinese restraurant around the U.P. area.

Excellent spicy teriyaki. I like spicy and think I am above average in handling spicy food — 3 stars is about all I can handle here… just a word to the wise.

I get their beef pad thai once a week or so as I work down the street. There are very few decent places to eat in UP, but this is definitely one of them. Nicole knows most of our orders by heart(the people in my office that is). 3 star spicy!

Good Wok is our favorite Chinese/Teriyaki place in UP. Their chicken fried rice is the best.
