As far as selection and basic things, this Payless is just fine — no issues with that.
The problem that I have was the «Kardashian-​wannabe» cashier. I approached the counter with a return and heard a voice from somewhere saying, «I’ll be with you in a few minutes Doll». I asked her if I was «Doll»? That was odd and the rest of the transaction was just too casual. She mumbled about her long day and a few random gripes.
Friendly and casual is just fine with employee interactions, but this was in no way professional.
