I came here to celebrate my 25th birthday with my brother and mutual friends. I forgot my wallet because I wasn’t planning on drinking and it was paid for me. So I figured no huge problem. They refused to even let me in after I bought a play card because I couldn’t prove I was over 21. Even though I certainly look it and they card Everytime at the bar so it would have been impossible to drink anyhow. The place was half empty and they refused a paying customer because of a completely pointless«policy». Way to be Nazis and ruin my birthday. I can be drafted in a war but not play overpriced games… nice.

Came here for a birthday with 2 boys 14, an 5, and 2 girls 13, an 10. First off the food was cold including the appetizers which we end up sending back an the shakes tasted like strawberry milk instead of shakes. Not worth the $ 100 for just the meal which didn’t include any play cards. Then off to the game room, kids had fun but not much for the 5 yr old. They need more games I suggest due to how big the facility is. They need to replace those old push-a-coin with your coin games out an introduce more modern games that’s wasted with that space. And more prizes because everyone doesn’t win 6 – 10,000 tickets per visit. All in all I would suggest eating somewhere else before visiting and it’s not really made up for the 5 an under crowd.

So. we live closer to the dave and busters in Livonia but wanted to try a different one… this one is about 45 min from our house… got in around 8. was definitely packed but we sat at the bar as usual… I can not say enough good things about our bartender Tiffany… she was busy. friendly and on point… everything was great with her. she got our food order right… kept us on check with our drinks… and I made a cool friend! Other waitresses take note… Tiffany rocked!!! Plus. who can beat the food here… hubby ordered tortilla soup. a first and loved it… and he ordered Buffalo wings. he loved and me of course… ordered my teriyaki steak with garlic mashed and frazzled onions with extra teriyaki sauce to pour over… OMG sooooo good! Games of course were fun… I won lots of tickets on my card!!! If this wasn’t so much farther… I’d go to this one all the time!

Great place to have some fun, and it isn’t just for the kids. They have a great Wednesday deal. The games are half price, and that’s a great way to rack up the points on your card. Happy hour is also fabulous since their drinks are wonderful. My only gripe is that none of their locations have any fighting games such as Streetfigher, Mortal Kombat, etc. If they had those, I’d definitely come more often.

Good place for gaming bad place for everything else! I went with a small group of friends it took 15 minutes for the hostess to even check us in. Then when seated waited another 10 – 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order then had to wait another 20 minutes just for the drinks. We finally place our order and waited an hour just for the appetizer and one of my friends never even got her food. I had to send my food back(the pretzel hotdogs tasted like pure salt) and never even was asked to replace it or anything lik that. Plus I never received a refill of my coke. So finally we went to the game room. This is were I’m giving 2 stars other wise there would only be 1.(Because the games are great) Went to the bar in there(was thirsty because I never got a refill earlier) was sitting at the bar for easily 10 minutes before I was even was spoken to by the bar tender. My friend’s drink had to be remade 3 times.

Great place to go with a bunch of friends! We love their Wednesday deals and love that this is such a fun place for adults, and of course booze! Also came here for a work holiday party and had the appetizers, which were amazing! Great fun for adults, friendly atmosphere, and great food and drinks! This place can be costly, those drinks add up! But overall, fun experience! Love the location, too… not too many fun, adult places around!

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the staff at Dave and busters in Utica. We had our company Christmas party there and they totally exceeded our expectations. I really would like to thank Amanda for organizing everything and making the event amazing. The food was absolutely delicious Aaron our waiter was awesome! If you need to host a Nother corporate event you really need to think about Dave and busters our employees absolutely loved it.

Came here for a holiday party for work — so much fun! We were in a room off to the side. It was fun for a group of adults to pay the old arcade games of yesteryear plus games of the new generation. I would definitely go there again.

So what?! We are the generation of the arcade games. Yes our parents, way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, forbade us from going to these right of passage places. We didn’t care, we saved our allowances and by Friday night we snuck out and hung out there like we were cool kids. I was one of those kids on the street fighter machines. I would pick Ken Masters and see how many kids I can go through with my two quarters. The kid who finally ends my streak, I would despise for life. Dave and Busters is our arcade house now. We don’t care that were grown as heck in an arcade house playing Pacman, Galaga and centipede. Trying to revive our inner children. Guess what? This institution is a reminder that we are the generation that never grew up. After all the bills are paid and whatever expendable income we had went to painting a smile on our faces. Food, booze and arcade games, oh my! The generation X and Y all grown up ready to show the iGens how it’s really done. I like the old school coin games with the tickets and Mario kart with the crew. My boyfriend likes more of the throw the ball at the clown and the basketball with friends game. Whatever that is you fancy, nobody is there to stop you, but yourself. Just let go of your«I’m booshie» self and have some REAL fun for once. After all that playing, cash in your tickets for a prize at the shop. Now you can even get drinking food(appetizers) with it. Anyways, the service on the food and the shop is on point. Our server when we were eating checked in from time to time. Plates were cleared when finished eating and beverages refilled as well. My beer came extra cold in a proper pint glass. These guys are at the top of their game. The service on the arcade floor was pretty much non existent. We had one machine, the one with the coins, the dropped a lot of coins and never paid out. We flicked the switch for service and no one ever came. Thank you Dave and Busters for a wonderful night. I had a lot of fun and will return in the near future.

It was awesome going on a day when absolutely no one was there but things get expensive fast. From the game credits, to the food, to the drinks… I left wondering if we would come back as I felt that maybe we weren’t really getting a good value. Honestly I think I would rather do a fun casino trip with friends over Dave and Busters. The novelty wears off after your first visit. If you aren’t into gambling(or old enough), then this is a wonderful option for you.

This is a great place to take two teenage boys to entertain them and not so bad for their Aunt and Uncle either ;). When we pulled up there were two buses unloading people and the parking lot was already pretty full, so I was dreading what was going on inside. Once we figured out what line to be in to buy Power Cards, things got better from there. I would recommend to the management if they know they have large parties arriving, it would be nice to have an employee near the entrance to guide the rest of us to where we need to be. There is enough variety of games that it appeals to those of us who are video game«challenged» and those who have been playing since they could hold a controller. As with any place that exchanges tickets for prizes, it always feel like the prizes are«overpriced.» Oh well, we didn’t go for the prizes. I can’t review anything to do with the food since we didn’t order anything. However, it would be great if the staff was more aware of the dinning area that is in the gaming area, it tends to have food all over the floor. Kinda gross to walk through.

Kiddie casino. I’m writing this review from my son’s perspective. It’s awesome. They have so many games to play and some pay lots of tickets. Love being able to shop afterwards for all the cheap toys. :) as a mom it’s not my favorite, but it makes the kiddos happy and entertains them for a couple of hours.

We didn’t eat here because the restaurant had a 2.5 hour wait on a Saturday night around 8:30pm, so this review is just for the gaming area. I had never been to a Dave and Busters before and the place was huge! We were meeting some friends there and finally found them in the lobby. It cost me $ 25 to get 135 «tokens»(credits) and then it’s $ 2 for the card if you have never bought one before. The card is where all your credits are stored, as well as any game tickets that you cash in. We had a lot of fun trying out all the games! I think my favorites were trivia, skeeball, a Deal or No Deal game, and this addicting building block-type game near the front right… I ALMOST won it so many times which made me want to try it again and again to beat the game, ha. 11pm is when no kids are allowed on the game floor and it was definitely nicer and less crowded after that time rolled around. I’ve been told to go during the week /weeknights because it’s less crowded and they also do specials. I’m definitely looking forward to going back here sometime soon!

I haven’t been here in a few years. I actually used to take clients to this location. I will never go again. I took my daugher and grandson. Although our server in the dining room was very efficient and friendly, the food was terrible. I mean we couldn’t eat it. My grandson and I can eat a rock, but none of us could eat the bland burgers, cold & soggy fries, less than mediocre wings, or even the salads. And, the lack of cleanliness of the entire place, especially the bathrooms should be enough to shut the place down. It is filthy! Then, to add insult to injury, after all the money we spent on the games and the huge pile of tickets we had, my poor grandson could get something like a Pez dispenser and a cheap plastic set of pliers. You guys have really dropped the ball. You must be making money, but you won’t get any more from us. What the heck happened to this place? I don’t give very many negative reviews, but you guys deserve one.

Sirloin steak was very chewy and bland. The potatoes were decent as a side dish, and the macaroni and cheese looked like it had sat in the window for awhile. Disappointed with the quality of food, however playing games was fun. Probably won’t eat here again.

D&B, what happened to you? This used to be a place that was fun to go to for kids and adults for a good meal and fun times. The fun times are still there(although the machines seem stingy on tickets now), but the food is awful! They only get two stars for the games. On food alone, it would be zero stars. We took my little one here on a cold night to see some flashing lights and push some buttons and get tickets, maybe try ski-ball(which was not a success, although she loved to watch and cheer loudly for her parents). Before the games, we had dinner. My fish was over-breaded and didn’t have much fish, and the«chips» were greasy. The whole mess sat in my stomach all night long like a rock, luckily it stayed there. My daughter’s burger screamed«GFS patty» the second it arrived, and one bit was enough to confirm that. No flavor whatsoever, and it was $ 6. Nothing else the party got was very good, either. Some of it was straight from GFS, other things were just mediocre at best. The service was pretty slow, too, and that’s surprising considering the lack of customers(so a high server to table ratio). The food took a lifetime to get to us, as well. It’s a shame — D&B used to have some pretty good food and service. Next time we’ll eat somewhere else and just go for the games, or maybe just skip it totally.

We were at Dave and Busters for a company event that was scheduled there. I was surprised at how big the place was and after we had our company meal, I saw the gaming area and could see why the place is so big. So let me break down the entire experience. The service, at least for a large group was a little spotty. IT was often difficult to get drinks refreshed or to get the attention of a server. But those people we did interact with were friendly and accommodating. As part of our deal, we each got two up to $ 10 bar coupons, but since we never saw drink price list, I have no idea how reasonable or unreasonable drink prices were. The drinks were nicely made and had plenty of alcohol in them. Dinner for us was buffet style. The food was kind of average. The best item we had was the barbeque. The chicken and salmon were just so-so. The salad was good as were the vegetables and side dishes. I walked through the gaming section, which as previously mentioned had quite a lot of square footage, on the way to the restroom. It was intense in there to be sure. The machines take a credit card that you can purchase and put more cash into. We actually never played the games and gave our cards to our kids that live un the area and will appreciate the games more than we would. But the sheer number of games was impressive and we could see that some of them paid out in tickets which can be turned in for prizes. So Dave and Busters is not exactly a gourmet retreat, but they look to be a very good venue for playing game machines and just having fun.

Second visit here and this time we went in a Tuesday. Out of the group I was the most excited to know it was also Taco Tuesday and the buck beef taco was on the top of my list for gluttony. We were greeted by Kelli and her perky demeanor set the evening just right. We decided for a Mexican food night which was a mixed bag of yummy and horror. My adventure began with the chicken tortilla soup, or as I have renamed it: Diced Potato with Chip Strip Soup. The chicken was absent, or never added but seemed to be replaced by precooked diced potatoes. Bland, lukewarm, and desperate for substance, this soup needs to be reworked by the cooking staff. However, the nachos were simply a fat mans dream come true. A heaping plate full of tasty and well executed deliciousness quickly pushed the potato ickyness into a fading memory. Just as with life, there are ups and downs with more downs than ups at Dave and Busters. What Dave giveth, Buster taketh away. The beef tacos were, in a word, disgusting. Yes, disgusting. The runny beef product reminded me of that beef mixture one expects and gets at a Hometown Buffet, or some similar poo-fest inducing chow line. The rest of my posse ordered the shrimp tacos for three bucks each and the smiles achieved through munching them have way for praises that well-fried pub food illicit. For the average American this means yum. I don’t understand hat, but heck, they were happy. The fries that came out were nearly room temperature, short on volume, and undercooked. Throughout the meal our server was a delight and we certainly showed our appreciation via gratuity.

Decent place overall. I think they need to crack down a bit on the thug crowd, otherwise I find it a pretty decent place! They do have some really old, and desperately in need of replacement games! I know this is tough as those big games aren’t made anymore in many cases, or are hard to find. So I won’t be too harsh on them in this area. Arcades are a dying breed, it’s tough to find things to stop them anymore. Food wise, it’s actually decent, but they need to step it up in a few areas. For one the instant mashed potatoes need to go away — fast. Also they need filtered water for their water, as if you order a water(like I usually do) it has a distinct(and gross) chlorine taste of Detroit tap water. The fried onion curls are pretty lousy, and oversalted. Those need to be replaced with something better, or a new recipe. It’s fairly typical upscale bar food like you will find at Hamlin Corner and other places. This would be a great place to meet chicks if you are on the hunt. No question about that! Other than my noted issues, a pretty good place. Sans the thugs with their underwear hanging out of course.
