Taco Bell

This isn’t a review on the food or restaurant, but that of the staff. I should forgive them of their ignorance because perhaps they weren’t trained properly when it comes to handling the United States flag, but I won’t.
I was sitting in traffic on Schoenherr around 6:15PM on my way home and I witness a young female removing the flag from their flagpole and I was pretty disgusted to see that she let it drag on the ground as she removed it from the rope. Once removed she balled it up as a dirty piece of laundry and through it on the ground as she secured the rope. I only wish I could’ve grabbed a picture but it was so far and already dark outside.
Now, as an Afghanistan army veteran (and still serving) I find this not only offensive, but rather disgusted. I used our United States flag to drape 21 metal boxes, each that in which carried the bodies of my fallen brother.
All this coming 2 days after the big media hype how a veteran snap shot a McDonald’s employee doing the SAME THING!
Unbelievable. The franchise owner of this facility should have their staff properly trained since the their parents at home couldn’t instil the importance of our flag to their children.

This is by far my favorite Taco Bell locations in the area. I live in field and there are two or three closer to me than this one but I consistently go out of my way. They are consistent and fast which is the most important thing in fast food. I hardly encounter reheated unfresh food and the employees are excellent!

I went in with my 6 year old nephew and the staff was so wonderful when he wanted to order and pay for his own food. I’m a huge Taco Bell advocate already, and finding friendly staff like that makes me love the company even more!

I LOVE Taco Bell, I would even go as far to say my fiancé and I are Taco Bell fanatics. With that being said, I would like to think I know what good Taco Bell should be. This location does not fall under that category.
Time after time this Taco Bell has had issues, and honestly the reason we had gone back so many times was to just «give it one more shot» and more importantly, it’s location.
On this particular instance, we went through TB drive through. Only one car was behind us and I would say two customer cars in the parking lot. It took the staff about 8 minutes to take our order. She was constantly distracted and stopped talking for long periods of time. Then when she would her back to us, she didn’t know what was going on. We already figured this wouldn’t end well. We had a purchase of almost $ 19, which warranted quite a few bags. The woman (who looked fairly disheveled), have us our bags without more then two words and that was it. She gave us two, small bags which immediately flagged my attention. Upon inspection we were missing about half of our meal. We now came into the restaurant and took notice to about 4 women working. After a while someone finally greeted us, I informed her of our issue and she stared blankly at me. She shuffled back to some of the girls and just stood there. Then (the woman at the window) yelled «are you f***ing kidding me» and started arguing with another employee in plain sight. After this, a gentleman walked in and brought a bag that was not his food. At this point, I was pretty disgusted with everything that had transpired and quite honestly didn’t want these women to fix my food, let alone the mistake. I had to yell for an employee to come back and I asked for a refund in return for the incorrect (and only half there) food I had received. After about another 5 minutes a manager finally emerged. Where was she the whole time this was all transpiring? Or where was she when her staff (in more ways then one) needed her help?
Thankfully, I was given my refund, which I was very appreciative of and the manager was polite. Hence the one star. But this Taco Bell is a disaster in more ways then one. And this was only one occasion… We will officially not be returning to this location.

Close enough to Planet Fitness for a quick shot of protein & rice as we LOVE the Cantina Bowls for $ 5 & some change. usually get 2 meals out of it.
Also this staff here does a solid job at the drive thru

I Love Taco Bell… but not this one. I have never walked away from this Taco Bell really satisfied with either the food or service. It is not very clean to begin with. It is always busy yet they never seem to have enough staff to get your food up quick. And most of the time the food you get is not very fresh. There have been VERY FEW times when I actually got something at this Taco Bell that was fresh. I am just not going back to this one, ever. There is another Taco Bell by my house on 21 mile & Van Dyke that is consistently good, as well as most others in the area. The only reason I gave 2 stars is cause it is Taco Bell, and cause they do have a nice cleaning lady that works there but besides for that don’t go to this one. I am sure if you drive a little farther you can find a Taco Bell that is better. The only reason they get so much business is cause of there location. Keep lovin’ Taco Bell, just not this one.
