Had a coupon, so decided to give this place a shot. Couple of people in the restaurant and no line when I walked in. Food came out fresh and fast — ordered the chicken philly sandwich. Pretty good. There’s no shortage of sandwich places in Vacaville, and there’s at least three in this particular area. Each one has different offerings at different prices. Here, you get a decent amount of fresh food, but it does come at a price. That said, the customer service here is excellent — at least in my experience — so you do get what you pay for.

We had Italian subs on white bread. We ordered Mike’s way, but it is too wet. The best part of the sandwich is the freshly sliced meat. The layout of the restaurant is terrible. The order line was too close to the tables and it was soooo crowded. I did not like sitting and eating right next to the people waiting in line. Extremely uncomfortable. The parking lot is a joke. Had to park at Taco Bell. Probably would just take it to go next time.

Great sandwiches! Service was great — the line was moving a bit slow, but given the place just opened that’s totally understandable. Friendly people and a hearty dinner. Proceeds supported BVES! Thank you! We will be back.

This place is off the hook! I’ve been going to the store in Fairfield for about the last six months and was so excited when I heard they were coming to Vacaville. So they’ve been open a couple of weeks now and I’ve been several times. The customer service here is awesome they have put together a good crew. I’ve been very pleased with the one in Fairfield and thought it would be difficult for them to match that but they did. Now as far as the food goes the number 43 is my staple! By far the best cheesesteak I have found in California. I’ve yet to try a cold sandwich but my wife has and she said they are definitely way better than Subway. I’ve been reading some of these reviews with one star and I can only imagine that it’s a case of some people are impossible to please. Always a line out the door has to tell you something and what really counts is those customers that return. Thanks Mike hope you all are successful!

Horrible. The chicken ceasar wrap was nasty, couldn’t even finish. There were basically two rubbery pieces of chicken, lettuce and swimming in dressing. Then they gave my order to someone else.

On our way through town we decided to stop at subway at Leisure Town but saw Jersey Mikes Subs and since we were in the mood for a sub we decided to try them instead. Well after looking at the menu I had my heart set on the Hot Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich. I asked if the chicken was cut up into large pieces or a patty and the very nice helpful lady behind the counter pulled out a fresh raw piece of chicken not a processed patty like at other places. My wifey ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The bread was baked fresh and the ingredients looked fresh as well. These sandwiches were cooked to order and tasted like it. The chicken and steak/onions was grilled right behind the counter and the place lit up with a great aroma. Being a first time customer we were given a free baked cookie with our sandwich. After about 5 – 7 mins our sandwiches came out and tasted amazing. The whole time we ate we wished there was a Jersey Mikes back home. My hats off to you all at Jersey Mikes Subs. You really are«A Sub Above»!

Was so excited to see the«coming soon» sign for Jersey Mike’s a few months ago. Well now they’re open and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been to other locations before, but it’s nice to have one where i live. Being up in New Jersey(insert jokes here), I am extremely picky about«hoagies» as we call them. Mikes is the first place to make a sub that reminds me of the hoagies i had growing up. You have to have the right bread to have any chance of success – and they have it. Just the right amount of crusty balanced with just the right amount of chew. No bubble gum bread here! And no chemicals. The meat is important too. No respectable Jersey sub shop would dare use pre sliced deli sitting in a drawer. No sir. Jersey Mike does it right by slicing to order. Ham, turkey, cappacuolo, prosciutto all sliced in front of you so you know it’s fresh. I know what you’re thinking and no – it doesn’t make for a longer wait to do it right! It just makes a better sub. If you’re someone that’s spent their life believing Subway was the standard for subs, be prepared for a ctrl+alt+del of your expectations as you reset the bar going forward. No need to confuse yourself with crazy toppings. Just pick a sandwich that suits you and get it «Mike’s» way. The staff and management are excellent and open to feedback. Chat them up and let them know what you think. They also cater.

The worst service ever. I came in with my husband to give it a try because it’s new which is always exciting. We both ordered hot subs, it took at least 15 minutes for them to be ready which is a long time for a sandwich shop. When we attempted to pay, the line was so long that we waited another 5 – 10 minutes to get the cashiers attention. After being treated as if we were invisible we decided not to eat there and take them to go as we weren’t even asked if we wanted chips and a drink with our orders. I was hopeful the sandwich would make up for the long wait and poor service but it definitely did not. The flavor was really lacking, such a disappointing experience. There are so many other places in Vacaville that offer a better sub for less with more options then just«mikes way». I will not return.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I ordered two hot subs and sat down to wait as the guy before me did. We waited what seemed like a forever. Easy was 20 minutes. I was called up when my sandwiches we finally ready. The girl working the register proceeded to help customer after customer without even acknowledging I was standing two feet from her waiting to pay. She should open her eyes and take off her blinders. I stood there while she helped three customers I even tried to cut in front of a customer paying and was ignored. I finally asked the guy that took our order, which I think was the manager, if someone was going to take my money or did I just need to leave. He snapped at her and said you need to help the customer. I left and will never come back nor will I ever refer this place! My sandwich was hardly warm by the time I was able to eat it. Bad way to run a business…

Mike’s way all the way!!! Best sandwich shop ever prices are higher then any other place but quality, service, clean less is good you get what you pay for my favorite is #9 so if you are a chip person you need to go somewhere else to get a chip cold cut! They are always busy during lunch hours so be ready to wait in line I’m talking about long line to out side the door!

I had a sub club and my boyfriend had a chicken buffalo philly. Both were good but nothing to blow you away. They use a crazy amount of vinegar and olive oil if you choose. But it’s very good together. Nice change from subway

Tried out Jersey Mikes because of a coupon they had. Ordered the roast beef. Now I have to compare them to blimpies because they also have fresh cut meats. The roast beef at Mikes doesn’t have much flavor when compared to blimpies and mikes uses cornmeal on the bottom of their bread which I don’t particularly care for and their toppings are more limited(no olives or pepper jack cheese) compared to blimpies. Now the price, for $ 15 a footlong its just not worth it. Any other sub establishment you can get a footlong for around $ 8 and if you have coupons prob around $ 6. I won’t be going back to Mikes because of the price, flavor and lack of toppings.

My boyfriend, his sister, and I went earlier today and the line was out the door! However, the service was fast and friendly! Everyone working there was super nice and the food is awesome! Everything tastes so fresh, and I loved the spices they used! I would definitely recommend getting your sub«Mike’s Way». Will definitely be back!(:

Went on opening day, was super busy but I liked the idea of this place. They cut the meat/cheese right in front of you and it helped that most of the other jersey mike stores around had good reviews. We got 2 sandwiches, the Club supreme and the chipotle turkey… they were just okay, honestly. At $ 8+ a sandwich though I expect more… they were both cold cuts so maybe we will give it another try and order hot sandwiches next time. Oh, and if you’re not immediately going to eat your sandwich, have them ease up on the«mikes way» oil & vinegar. Both sandwiches were soggy by the time I got home 20 minutes later.

My friends and I came here for their grand opening because we had a coupon. I got a California Chicken steak(hot sub) and it was pretty good. I like how they have freshly cut all their ingredients! The chicken was sliced thinly with melted cheese on top and put together with tomato and lettuce. Although it was good, I feel like the price is relatively high for a sub. ~$ 8 for half a foot. The staff was friendly and tried their best to accommodate the lunch rush during grand opening. I feel like their specialty and difference from other sandwich places is their cheese steak sandwiches. Give it a try!

Great sub. Good job to the staff on handling the crowd through efficient ordering and delegation of duties on a busy opening week dinner rush. Meat and veggie quality is excellent. Beautiful tray of bright red tomatoes. Love the finely cut lettuce and Mike’s way(Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices). Meat and cheese are sliced in front of you to order. Bread quality was strong. Giant sandwich is huge. $ 14 Location is bit smaller than most with limited seating. Parking and driving around the lot with a Taco Bell and Starbucks is a bit painful.
