It’s hotel restaurant so if you’re expecting something more… then sorry… But I had a very good experience. I had the shrimp and grits. A great southern classic and it was done very well. The staff was pleasant and checked on me quite often. I have no complaints and will probably come here again if I get to the hotel too late to go out or I just don’t feel like leaving.

Stayed the night at Holiday Inn and had dinner at Azalea. I was a bit nervous about eating here because of the reviews, but I was way too tired to try something else. What a nice surprise I had. Not only the service was awesome, but the food was delicious. I had a a homemade burger and cooked to your liking with roasted potatoes and my husband had grilled shrimp with pub chips. We are now enjoying a hearty breakfast and what now became a norm here, wonderful service. Oh yeah, and the coffee is fresh and delicious! We will be back!

Arrived late at the holiday inn and the restaurant was set to close. They accepted our orders graciously. Food was good. Service from our waiter(Joelle) was outstanding! Breakfast the next morning was good. As promised for the price-points. Service was excellent.

Resturant in the hotel. Had 2 meals here. Dinner last night was less than desirable. The sal, on was flavored well but was overdone. Green beans were cold. Breakfast this am was good and expectable but service was not great. Going elsewhere tomorrow for breakfast

I can’t speak for it all the time, but we ate there for our Thanksgiving meal and it was delicious! And, I might add, they were the ONLY one in town that had whole turkeys, much to my mother’s delight, since she loves the dark meat. The baked chicken was superb as well! The spread was nice and the food was hot & fresh. The chocolate cheesecake was melt in your mouth wonderful! The meal, with drink included, was $ 13.95. Not too bad for a holiday. We are looking forward to going back for their once a month buffet(on a particular Tuesday, I believe).

New menu, new attitude and a free bar drink. This restaurant is one of only 50 Holiday Inn restaurants in the country chosen to participate in the new brand menu. I highly recommend the whiskey sirloin and the bbq wings with homemade chips. As a guest of the hotel, your daily free drink can be served at the bar or with a meal.

I agree with the previous reviewer, the place is bad news. I was fortunate to get so frustrated with the nonservice, that I left before I could order. The bar TV had Survivor on with the volume up, which was completely annoying. I had to ask the bartender twice for a menu, because she was distracted by text messages, Survivor, and some dude at the end of the bar. Did myself a favor and went back to my room and had the welcome bag of mini chips ahoy and crackers for dinner in my room. At least, I didn’t have to watch season 99 of Survivor on a low def TV.

Just awful. Everything’s swimming in butter. If you order rice with an entrée, it’s sitting in a pond of butter and, as an added bonus, you’ll probably find some plastic from the steamer bag in with it. Happened twice to me. Try not to eat it. Ordered the soup special, chili. It was tepid and a «bowl» was less than a cup. Maybe a thimble. Barely covered the bottom of the bowl and not too tasty. I’ve given this place plenty of chances, but I’m done. Never again. By the way, the free drink tix on check-in will only get you a headache. Cheap wine, beer or Skol booze. I’m not bitter. Just done.
