I don’t understand the prices here. $ 6.99 for a used scarf? That’s what I would pay for a new one next door at Ross. $ 17.99 for a very used Express coat? $ 79 for an air mattress? It’s fairly clean and organized so I’ll give it two stars. The people that work there are friendly too. But the prices are crazy.

Goodwill didn’t haven’t many books though they were asking 3.99 for them. a couple of ladies was talkikng book club stuff. got a recommendation for a «love novel» not my genre now, told them it’s historical dramas. clothes seem cheaper here than nothing in my size. 20% off on shoes/apparrel was happening pre-easter. mall parking, lots of it.

This Goodwill store is kind of a joke. Seriously its called a thrift store because everything is supposed to be priced at a thrifty rate. No, this place ups the price on everything. A pair of pants for $ 10.99? Id go to walmart if I wanted to pay that much. The great thing about going to trift stores is bc you can spend a little and get a lot. I would not pay $ 10.99 for second hand clothing no thanks! Also, all the shoes are priced ridiculous. All the Target hand me downs are priced the same as Target priced them… before they were damaged! I saw a Monster High backpack I wanted to get for my daughter Target price $ 9.99 Goodwill price $ 9.99.

Expensive! Message to the people pricing items for Goodwill… You guys get this stuff for FREE! Whatever you make off of it is a profit. If you are going to charge new prices for used stuff, at least color tag so slow movers can be discounted. I couldn’t believe some of the prices on some of this stuff. A used faux leather jacket that smelled like an ashtray for $ 40!!! I could go next door to Ross or Marshall’s and get a brand new item for that price. I am all about recycling and re-using, but Goodwill is really out of their element when it comes to pricing. They are pricing out the products to the people who use and, many cases, NEED them the most. Shame on your greed Goodwill. That said, the floor staff at the Vallejo location are very nice.

Very overpriced-not even the Goodwill in San Francisco was this expensive. $ 0.99 comic books for the hubby salvaged the trip. My bet is that you would score better deals at the Ross across the street.

One of the cleanest Goodwill stores I have been in. On the day I visited, the clothing was very neatly hung on the racks, and the garments also looked like they were cleaned and pressed. I’m not sure if it’s because there is a Ross store next door or what. The garment racks were easy to shop with just the right amount of clothing hung on the racks. Not over stuffed like in some Goodwill locations. The housewares was well stocked, and I ended up buying several items. Sometimes I get stuff here and other times I don’t. The atmosphere here is pleasant, almost everything is priced, and the staff is outstanding. The associates actually greet you as you enter here. On the promotional Saturday clothing sale days you can get some good deals on clothing. No associate in this store has ever sized me up when something was not priced.

Love the goodwill! The staff is always friendly just saying hello and being nice. The place is always stocked and yes you find a gem or two in the vinyls! This is by far a better goodwill store the Benicia’s!

Overpriced!!! I’d rather spend the same money at Ross next door and get something that is actually new.

Definitely more expensive then my other usual thrift haunts, but was able to find some good stuff. Got a bright jacket that reminded me of Jil Sanders Spring 2011 collection, a boucle jacket, and wide leather belt. In all it cost only $ 26. There were a few other items that looked interesting, but not a ton of stuff that was my style. Worth a check out though.

Frustrating thrift store! Main complaint is clothing is not separated out by size at all! Can’t they just do sm, med, lg, xl… I just don’t like thrift stores that lump everything together either by color or short or long sleeves etc. I was looking for pants for my boyfriend and not only were they not separated out by size, but the way they had the pants on the hangers, you had to unclip it from the hanger to see the label. Nothing kills my thrifting mood more quickly! My last visit was recent and I found myself really irritated by the staff. I’m sure they don’t get paid well… but a litle«professionalism» and friendliness goes a long way. Half of them looked just plain irritated that they had to take my money and the other half was having«too much fun»…didn’t want to hear all their loud chatter. I’m just sayin’!!

So Goodwill has moved on up to the Plaza. Been there for a month… I was told. Very neatly arranged and surprisingly less of a moth ball smell then down on Tennessee. I found the prices to be sort of high. My son was totally against me dragging him in there. Once in… he walked away with our only purchase – a PC controller for under 5 bux – go figure!

This Goodwill is a bit of a disappointed compared to all the other Goodwill’s I’ve been to in the past. It reminded me of a broke-down Marshall’s(which is coincidently nearby). They had a lot of things from Target that just looked like the packages were in bad shape and not a big selection of electronics, books, and kitchenware. Annnd where da vinyl at?! However, the store was very clean and everything was color coordinated, ha.
