Lets start off by this place is not run by italians… But when their pizza is freshly made its great… Other food not so much… Also they keep pizza for the next day and you can tell… I once ordered baked ziti. When i got home i opened it to find ziti with a little bit of sauce and some mozz on top… I called to say they made a mistake and was told that is what baked ziti is & that u have to ask for ricotta… What world are they from. Never in my life have i heard of this… This place is also packed out with obnoxious high schoolers yelling and screaming like its a cafeteria… Might as well be vsc school pizzeria. It deters here paying customers and they do nothing about it. one good thing is a half hr before closing pizza is half off! Thats about it.

I have never been disappointed when I walked in for a slice, but take out or delivery has been an whole different experience. I don’t mind(too much) that the employee that is usually there seems incredibly apathetic about his job, my order, or life in general, but in return, I expect great pizza. I used to rate D’oro pizza a solid 4 stars. Unfortunately, the level of quality has diminished steadily over the last few months. I had my parents over 2 weeks ago for pizza, and I was embarrassed with the food I had to serve them. I ordered a large pie, garlic knots and calamari. The pizza was under-cooked and flavorless. The garlic knots were not memorable, so I won’t comment one way or another. The calamari though… where to begin. Seeing how I was ordering calamari from a pizza shop, my expectations were not overly high to begin with. However, what was served to me was far worse than even the lowest expectations. This calamari tasted like it was cooked a year ago and frozen, then microwaved for 30 minutes before being packaged up to be sold. We each tried one bite before throwing the entire order in the garbage. I really hope this place steps their game up because they were good at one point.

Sicilia has gone from pizza worth raving about, to tasteless and unsatisfying. I stopped by today for the first time since I graduated high school(2006). It used to be one of my favorite pizza places in town, and I always went for the chicken and tomato slice. I ordered that same slice today and walked out really disappointed. First, my slice was removed from the oven way too soon, and it was cold. The crust tasted undercooked and doughy. The chicken was also semi undercooked, and the tomatoes were soggy and mushy. I give the place 3 stars because they are always very clean, and have a large variety of specialty pizzas to chose from. Make sure you ask for everything piping hot!

This one star goes out to the slice of pizza I ate from Sicila’s that made my stomach flip. The pizza here is fairly similar to a school lunch pizza or box pizza from the store. The counter may have a lot of pizza and rolls to chose from but they all have been sitting around all day. Hmm… Gross. I would just buy the cheesy bread and buffalo bites ONLY if they are fresh.

Since this is the only pizza place open in the area(not a fan of Rosa’s or Ancona’s), I decided to stop by for my pizza fix. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the amount of specials they have, and the prices are pretty good for what you get. They have a few family deals, $ 10 pie deals, and buy 1 get 1 half off pie deals. They had a few different selections displayed. Grandma slices, sicilian slices, etc. I opted for 2 regular(I know I’m boring). I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t like crispy crusts, and theirs was more chewy which I like. The slice was a little sweet but still very good. I plan on coming back here for sure to take advantage of some of their deals.

Amazing pizza! Favorite place to go. Individual slices are always better than pizza pie slices though! Try the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice, it is amazing.

I happen to very much enjoy this pizza. Delivery service is kinda slow and whoever the gentleman taking phone orders is needs a class in customer service. The only thing that keeps me going back is that no one else close by delivers.

This place is your average pizza place with a variety of slices. If I recall there’s a lunch special for two slices and a small drink. There’s occasionally some cheesecake or small desserts in the mini fridge at the end of the counter. The pizza is average but their garlic knots aren’t half bad. I think I enjoy the sausage and pepper roll the most but that’s about it. If you’re in the neighborhood later in the evening, the pizza is 50% off as it nears closing time, maybe half-an-hour to?

I love their pastas. It’s flavorful and generous portion for the prices. I also love that they will make stuff that’s not on the menu and add on suggestions. Service is great and delivery is usually within reasonable time.

This place is great. Really nice counter people, very clean place to eat, even a clean bathroom which is nice. I usually get the Grandma slice, delicious crust, perfectly seasoned, sweet sauce and good amount of mozzarella. I have had the mini broccoli rolls which are good but lack cheese. Regular slices are good too, they have some great deals during the week and ½ price pizza late night. One of my favorites is the chicken parm hero… huge portion for $ 6.50! Try this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

This place usually has what I would call average pizza, good, but nothing to rave about. They usually have a nice selection of special pies in the restaurant when you go in, and my daughter really likes the Buffalo pizza But the last time I ordered delivery, the pie came very undercooked, the crust was soft and doughy, and it looked like it had slid around in the box and was mis-shapen.

I believe that everyone has been to another restaurant, not this one. I have traveled around the world and still came up with the same thing… The egg plant parm was by far the best that I have ever eaten. This is my favorite dish. The salad was so fresh and dressing was SUPER great. I live in Atlanta, GA. If I had to cash to fly back to NY, my butt would be on the plane to this restaurant. I called back to tell the owner how wonderful the food was there. He treated me with respect and did not rush me even though he has the phone ringging off of the hook and people waiting to pay. The experience that I had was everlasting. I was there about 4 months ago and I remember it as if it were yesterday. Damn, I honestly miss that food, I am almost ready to buy a ticket and fly back just for there food.

One of the worst pizza places in Valley Stream. Don’t even think about coming here during lunch time because it will be crowded with kids from the high school and there isn’t much seating to begin with. The last time I came here, I was 9 months pregnant and just came from getting my nails done next door. I was starving and craving pizza, but left very disappointed. I don’t even remember what kinda pizza I ordered, I just remembered it sucking really bad on every level and swore that I’d never come back no matter how hungry I was. The town of Valley Stream has a glorious and vast selection of awesome pizza, why miss out on good pizza by coming here?

Good pizza, but pretty average. Nothing to make it stand out from other places. I’ll get pizza from here once in a blue moon, or have it delivered when I don’t want to have to go pick up pizza from other area pizzerias. It’s almost a second thought, but not one that’ll let you down. Lunch can be crowded though during the school year, because of the high school kids who pack the place for lunch.
