My son loves Firehouse! I’m not much of a sandwich person but Firehouse has some really good food! I love the Meatball sub, extra toasted is best! They are always friendly at both locations I visit.

Good food and service. I’ve just moved to the area and this firehouse is similar to the ones back home. Never seems too busy with eat-in customers. Kudos for the hot sauce selection.

The food is always good and the place clean but service is spotty. I started to order with two of the girls behind the counter(they were busy talking about their weekend) and they looked at me like I was crazy for asking them for food. They then started laughing at me and told me to order I had to talk to a different girl. It was very rude and the laughing made me almost want to leave. They need to step up their customer service because I will think twice before coming back.

I went into this place to grab a quick snack for a picnic, I’m normally not a fast food person. Also I try to stay away from chains. I was surprised the food actually was pretty good.

My only complaint is that they do not toast their bread also, the sandwich we had was very tasty and enjoyable. Probably the best sub place we have visited here in Vancouver since we returned back to the area.

We’ve always been a fan of Subway for deli sandwiches. Recently we tried a Jimmy Johns but didn’t realize it was a deli sandwich place until we walked in. We weren’t impressed and made that comment to a family member. It was suggested we try Firehouse Subs because we were told it was awesome. We did just that about a month later. We are now big fans of Firehouse Subs. The staff was so friendly and helpful when we walked in. It was clean and the menu was fantastic. Normally, I’m a fan of tuna sandwiches but none was listed on the board. However, we were told they do serve tuna. You just have to order it. One sandwich caught our eye. It was the cheddar and brisket sandwich. It blew us away for a deli sandwich. The brisket had a smoked flavor and was absolutely delicious. One of the staff members even walked back to check on us and asked how we liked our first visit to Firehouse. We’re definitely a fan and have just discovered our go-to place for deli sandwiches. Fantastic!

I absolutely love this place. This is the second time I have been here, and man the food does not disappoint! The first time I went I had the Italian, and man was it good. This time I had the New York Steamer, and again it was great! The sandwiches take some time to come out, as they make them to order, but it is so worth the wait! The only reason this place doesn’t get five stars is the friendliness of the workers. The first time I went the girl at the register didn’t smile at all. This time, one of the girls making sandwiches said hi to me as I walked by. It was pretty nice, as the rest of her co-workers were busy chatting with each other. Everyone that works here looks like they are in college or high school, so I get it– they are still learning the finer points of service. Despite that, I will keep coming back, because the food is just that good!!!

Very good subs and service in a very clean shop. This place will make you never go to subway again. They support our local fire department as well.

I wanted to let the owner and manager know what a wonderful crew was working the evening of superbowl Sunday. The restaurant was super clean and the crew for being young was extremely professional.

Since we don’t have one of these in my town we’ve been dying to try Firehouse Subs when we visited the area. The trip was much, much more than worth it! We never knew subs could taste like this! I had the Brisket and Cheese, my wife had the Italian, and we split a Firehouse Club. By far the Club was the best sandwich on the menu. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. Now that we have tasted Firehouse Subs nothing local to us will be the same. Can’t wait to go back and try them again! Update: they just opened a location near home so now I don’t have to drive across the state to enjoy the goodness

My first trip to Firehouse Subs was in Alabama. I was excited to see one pop up here! I ordered the chicken salad and grabbed what I thought was a white chocolate chip cookie. Come to find out it was lemon, but it was tasty, so nothing negative here. The sandwich was very good and had plenty of chicken salad on it. Very pleased!

Fast, friendly service, and amazing food! Had the hook and ladder, and every bit melted in my mouth! Subway and Jimmy Johns have nothing on this place!

Familiar with Subway? Good. Now picture Subway with even LESS flavor and appeal. Got it? That’s Firehouse. Don’t waste your time or money.

I really love a good sub, hero, grinder, SAMMICH… whatever you like to call them. Today marks my first foray into a firehouse, and they did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, it was one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever ate! The store itself was clean, the staff were very helpful with this green horn. I actually went in wanting a philly, but the picture of that Italian on the wall won my heart! I like all the hot sauces too, I used their house hot sauce, captain someone’s something or other, it was really good, spicy but also sweet. My only complaint? Pricing. One large sub, chips and drink was close to $ 15…kinda steep yo. That’s why only 4 stars. But that’s the only bitch I’ve got for em, good sub and awesome people working there, I will return for that philly!!!

Got two sandwich’s here, since the day I visited this one, was on Fathers Day and they had a special where you got a free medium sub, so thought try something different, I forget what it had, on it, but wasnt to impressed, the ham wasnt that good IMO, but the Steak and Cheese one I had was very good as usual. The employees at this location, I wasn’t impressed with, we tried to get them to mark the subs, as we had 3 of them, but they only put two number stickers on the sub, and no other markings on it– so what the hell? How the hell do we know what the numbers are when its not on the receipt? I have to agree with Fobby on his employee comments, but the décor I disagree with, that one should be a easy one to know why they have the décor they do, The owners are(or were) firemen, and thus the décor is firemen stuff. While not a Coke drinker, I do like the freestyle machine they have here. The location is very good as well, as its right by the mall. They just need to train their employees better at this location

Overall a good sandwich. Definitely beats subway, on par with Jimmy Johns, but there are better sandwiches out there. Service was friendly, a bit slow, but that just kind of goes with sandwich making. It was my feat time at a Firehouse subs, and I would go back. Everybody working there was very friendly.

Good customer service. Although people have stated the service was slow, I personally have not had an issue. It does take time for them to steam your sub and put it together… it’s not premade. Good subs… huge portions. Slight price than most other sub places however worth the price. I have gotten the hook and ladder as well as the Sriracha beef. Both were yummy.

So when I first experience this Firehouse subs we had a lot of problems: long wait, incorrect order, and horrible customer service. I made sure to contact the manager, Becky, about this and she instantly apologized and tried to explain the reasoning. She then sent me 4 free coupons to try again and receive better service. I went again and my only problem was I ordered a drink and was charged but the machine was down so I had to take a bottle of coke. This last time I went during a lunch rush and I received the correct order, got a drink and the machine was up and running, and received awesome customer service(was asked how the food was twice while eating). Each time I went though the food was amazing. Really the best tasting sub place I have found around here. I would definitely recommend that they play some music in the place to liven it up a bit.

It’s great to have another sandwich option nearby. For a chain spot they make a good sandwich. I’ve been here a coupe of times and the staff is friendly. The owner is has been walking the floor greeting customers and asking questions. You can tell the staff is a little green, but everyone has been helpful. They have a nice big open floor plan and a couple of TVs playing sports. It was a real treat to grab a sandwich and catch the last few minutes of the Blazer game. As a DirectTV guy I get screwed out of watching most of the Blazer games at home(thanks Comcast and DirectTV)…sorry i digressed. The engineer is a good starting point.
