There are so few words to be said that haven’t been said already. This place is SO. GOOD. Dish of note: Spicy Chicken Steak Plate. «Chicken Steak» here refers to chicken breast, which is delicious with perfect grill marks every time. The spicy marinade they use, which I suspect to be Gochujang, is addicting. It’s also more flavorful than it is spicy. So fear not, those who are wary of spice. Heads up: The average wait time here is longer than your average teriyaki joint. Typically a 15 – 20 minute wait. Worth it though.

We came here for the first time today. The reviews are mostly on the good side. We walked In and awkwardly stood there while the waiter walked by us and never even said hi or just a moment… Then it was ordering time… I asked her what was in #11 and she told me tempura shrimp, which was not in the picture. I ordered someone else and then she says” what # meal did you ask about.? «She told me the wrong info, but then had to ask the cook what was in #11 dinner… You don’t know what you sell, BAD ! The food was ok. Tasted fresh, not like there fountain drink which tastes of nasty water or ice! Food was a 7 out of 10. We won’t be back though, too bad. While we ate there we watch 6 more customers get treated the same. Ok food VERYPOOOORSERVICE! We will not recommend Sorry

The food is good but the service and attitude not so much. I went back 3 times because of the flavor however tonight did me in. Their rudeness and lack of customer service has lost a customer tonight for good.

There are a lot of teriyaki places in Vancouver, and this is by far my favorite. I’m pretty sure I supported their daughter through college with how often I eat there. Get the spicy chicken, you won’t regret it. It gets pretty busy during lunch, so call ahead of time if you don’t have time to wait.

5 Stars for taste & portion size! The Chicken Yakisoba here is soooooo delicious. I don’t know what they put in those noodles but they are heavily addicting! Chicken Teriyaki Plate is Solid. Huge portions of chicken grilled to perfection with a slight char. Fantastic. I always ask for more rice instead of salad, and a extra side of teriyaki sauce. It does take about 20 minutes for your order. I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. For me this is strictly a Take Out restaurant. You can dine but it’s pretty bare bones no frills inside. Which. That doesn’t really matter when your serving up incredible Chicken Yakisoba & Teriyaki Chicken. Great basic Japanese Comfort food. Highly recommended Take Out!

The young girl in the front, ya I dont know. I just wanted a take-out menu, not that hard to understand, but she finally gave me one after asking for the third time. Ended up getting chicken katsu and the pork one-cant remember the name of it. I ordered it to go, took about 20 minutes to get my food. They seem pretty busy, I would eat here again, but I would call in and order it for pick up.

Great food, love it. 5 star food. We usually get take out and it’s always hot and perfect. Went with the girls from the office at lunch(my suggestion). One lady declined«Oh no, they’re always slow at lunch. Great food tho.» Sure enough… SLOW and they got my order wrong and they delivered food to one girl a solid 10 minutes before the rest of the group. But, everything tasted great. It’s a takeout joint, don’t try to dine in.

Good food for a great price– lunch special is fantastic. Served quickly and nice and hot. Spicy Pork has great flavor and good spice to it. Decent sized portion for under $ 7 too.

Absolutely love the chicken bento from here! The food is always hot and fresh and you never have to wait too long to get your food. Due to their location and where they are in the strip mall it is difficult to tell if they’re open at times. However, I will continue to visit Kim’s grill many more times to come!

I go to this place all the time. Their chicken bento is only 5.75 and it’s very filling. Its a family run business and they are always very nice. Service is excellent and they get your food out to you fast. Lunch can get really busy so call ahead. My favorite teriyaki joint in Vancouver.

Good teriyaki place. My family came in and had the beef bento, the chicken bento for the kids, and the spicy pork plate. Everything was tasty and they even brought out an extra plate for the kids without me asking, which is always a huge plus for me. My kids loved their food, so I’m sure we will be back.

Excellent spicy chicken. quick service, friendly service, and generous portions. Look forward to trying other things on the menu. Hard to believe anybody would buy the deli food under the heat lamps next door at Safeway when this place is so much better in every way including price.

A nice little teriyaki joint in the corner of a strip mall. This place is good for a bite to eat during lunch or take out. Food is reasonable with price although quality doesn’t quite compare with ICHI Teriyaki. Family run business, service is friendly and prompt.

I eat at most teriyaki places around town and when I travel, as it’s one of my favorite foods. Kim’s grill is excellent. Light teriyaki sauce, gives you sweet chili, fast service, consistent flavor, and good portions for 6 dollars. Lot of other places charge 8 – 11 bucks for combo plates now. Kim’s grill lunch special is 5.99 for combo. Go here, it’s good

Went and had lunch here today and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken teriyaki was flavorful and so was the yaki udon. Another thing I liked was even enough they were kinda busy, the food came out promptly and the service was good.

My husband and I have tried many teriyaki places around town and this is our favorite! The prices are super cheap and the staff are very accommodating to your needs. Great for take out or dining in; I always have enough food for two meals. I also appreciate that the chicken, pork or beef are always well marinated, moist, and quite flavorful.

With all due respect to Brittney T. I came to try Kim’s Grill on the advice of The Wife, and if you know what is good for you, you do what The Wife says. Now I pride myself on knowing my teriyaki style dishes. I have spent half a lifetime searching out excellent teriyaki places and I have to say that Kim’s rates very high on the list. I found the meats to be lean and the service to be quite excellent. The Yakisoba dishes are amazing as are the classic plates with rice and a small salad. I have had the chicken and the beef so far and both have been excellent. I have been fortunate to live and work near two great teriyaki places, Mashita in Tualatin and Du’s Grill in St. John’s and while Kim’s isn’t all the way as good as Mashita(what is?) it’s as good as Du’s and that says a lot to my tastebuds.
