Small, casual caffee with fresh choices in soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as great pizza.

I was fortunate enough to get here during the down season and didn’t have to wait in line. We had the bruschetta(delicious!) the caprese salad(excellent) and I ordered the Italian panini, which was fabulous… filled with authentic Italian deli meats and served on tasty bread – the merlot complimented everything perfectly(and when you ordered an entrée got a second glass for free!). Ann Marie(owner) was a delight and made the dining experience all the better. If I’m ever fortunate enough to be back in Venice, Fla, I will DEFINITELY stop here again. DONOTSKIP this restaurant… a true gem in the downtown area of Venice.

The bruschetta was fantastic. Service was perfect-we had been hemming and hawing about getting caprese salad, and the waitress brought us out a bit to sample. Margharita pizza was good, but ive had better. It’s neopolitan style; crust was good, cheese was excellent. The sauce could have used a bit more tang. Pleasant experience overall.

Recommended by shop keepers during our day in Venice, we gave it a try and were not disappointed. We chose the comfortable outdoor seating on a perfect spring evening. Our server suggested a glass of wine and a complementary caprese salad that accompanied it that evening. The glass was generously filled and the salad was excellent with the tomatoes being particularly ripe and sweet. Our server was a delight. Engaging, attentive and anxious to please, she helped us craft the perfect pizza built on a thin, tasty crust. She even unwittingly serenaded patrons with a rendition of «Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You» while prepping for close. The food, venue and service were great… who could ask for more?

Food is ok but there are a lot better places for Italian food in Venice. Pizza is also just ok. The owner is not the most likable was gruff to us the last time we were there. Our pizza was burnt.

Just ate here for the first time. Good authentic service and the food was better than most on Venice Ave. This is a great«more casual» choice than some of the other staples of Venice Ave, like Cassariano and Taste of Italy. Got a pizza. Pretty good!

Great lunch there today. Freshly made. Very attentive service. Owner makes fresh mozzarella each morning. Bruschetta freshly made with yummy tomatoes and the right amount of garlic. Great find!

Stopped by Caffe Panini to grab some lunch while in Venice. Decided to try the Ruspante which is a grilled chicken breast with homemade mozzarella, arugula, and sundried tomato pesto. It was delicious! The Panini had just the right crunchy flavorful taste to it. The tomato salad was very good also. Service was excellent, even though they were very busy when we were there. Would definitely go back to this restaurant again!

Excellent Food! Went for Lunch Mar. 05 while they had the Art Festival on, it was busy! They had to turn away customers, as the place was full. The service was fast, and friendly. The menu had good variety. We had the Ruspante Panini, and lentil soup, delicious!

I am so grateful that my friends treat me to all these new places, so I can review them!!! This one was a real gem!!! Waitress Arin was friendly and efficient, and owner/chef Nicola could not have been more welcoming and making us feel like valued Patrons. We both ordered the TRIOCOMBO — I chose the SIMPATICOPANINI, my friend chose the VEGETARIAN one. For under $ 10.00 this comes with soup and salad, and today the soup was a wonderful ESCAROLEWITHWHITEBEANS!!! best I ever tasted!!! Salad was a combination of fresh greens, plus tomato and onions and Balsamic Vinaigrette and Olive Oil on the side. The chef spoiled us with some fresh, warm Mozzarella, OMG, that was as good as it gets!!! I could keep on raving about this place, but you get my drift… TRYIT, YOU’LLLOVEIT!!!

Lasagna was incredible. Pizza was good. Soup of the day was bland and oily. Plastic water cups tasted very chemically. Antipasti misti was alright. I’d go back just for the lasagna.

The food was amazing, there were five of us and no one was disappointed. We bought a bottle of wine and it comes with a free caprese salad. The mozzarella and just been made and it was incredible. The pizza was delicious and the cannoli was to die for.

Relaxing lunch with fabulous service by Sean. We are very particular about our pizza-and the fresh tomato & mozzarella won the prize. We shared a delicious salad, for $ 12 just wasn’t sure if the value was truly there. If it had a few more pieces of the fabulous Italian meat I would have thought so. Overall good lunch-sat outside as the inside is tiny and a bit generic. Will visit again soon!

Delicious gem of a spot for lunch. Had panninis and fresh made pasta with our party, all was excellent. All the five star reviews are no joke. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and give them a try. We can’t wait to go back. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. We ate inside to cool off in the AC but they have a few tables outside as well.

I found myself in Venice in need of lunch, and figured that I would try this place out, and I was not disappointed. It’s a smaller establishment, with tables inside and outside. As it was a hot summer day, I opted for inside seating. I decided to try their Trio Combo, it’s your choice of a half panini, with soup and a mixed green salad. I went with the Capri Panini as I was attempting not to eat any meat for the week. Not that I’m a vegetarian, or concerned about my diet, it was just a personal challenge to mix things up. The Capri Panini comes with homemade mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. I asked our server about the choices for soup, and on the day of my visit they had a roasted tomato soup, as well as an artichoke and pea soup. I was intrigued by the artichoke and pea soup, so I went with it. The food arrived after about ten minutes, and the panini was very, very good. The artichoke and pea somehow worked together very well, and I enjoyed my soup very much as also. The salad wasn’t too shabby either. The server was very attentive, and the price was right. I would recommend coming in to give it a try if you find yourself in the area.
