This is the sister store to the Vanity Room. And it’s just as amazing. Please refer to my Vanity Room review.

I LOVETHISBOUTIQUE. I stopped by to find ONE dress for a special evening event and walked out with 4 dresses, 1 pair of jeans, a belt, and a pair of heels. I’m am NOT a shopaholic, and usually only buy the one thing I came into a store for. I am rational when I buying new pieces: Do I really need this piece? Does it work with other items in my wardrobe? Will it still be hanging in my closet with the tag on months from now? There were so many flattering items at the shop(at such great prices) that I could not pass them up. The garments here are top quality and there is a mix of designer to no name brands that flatter most girls that are fit, and every budget. Most of the clothing is very feminine and it is a great place to stop if you have to find a dressy outfit for a wedding, event, or a night out on the town. The have a full range of accessories, handbags, and shoes as well so you will walk out with a complete outfit if that’s what you need. The girls that work at(h)armonie are extremely helpful and know exactly what pieces are most flattering for your body type. Donna was extremely accommodating and my girl friend and I had tons of fun trying on clothes! I remember Donna from their sister store, the Vanity Room on Washington Blvd. The saleswomen are honest, and will tell you if something doesn’t look right and they never pressure you to buy anything. If you stop by, I’m sure you will find something that will put a smile on your face. [O_o]

Surprisingly Very affordable for name brand items and no-name brands. Very good quality material for the reasonable prices, unlike items from places like forever 21 or H&M were cheap clothes means cheap quality. Stop by, all of my friends have always been able to find something they like and can afford at this store. If you are looking for a larger selection of the same style and price range, stop by their sister store first on Washington Pl. called Vanity Room

A place to see the stars get ripped off. The clothing appears new, but it’s actually used, and worn by the staff on a daily basis.(as I was told.) My chief complaint about this place is that after spending a few hundred dollars, the staff could care less about me once I handed them the money! I noticed that one of the items I had just purchased had a distinctly«biological ickyness» on it, and I asked if I could just switch it for another one without the«ickyness.» The sales girls looked at me like I asked for the moon. She said there was nothing she could do, even though 2 of the same item were right in front of me. She didn’t even know anyone who could do anything about it, she said. So, after she slathered some migraine inducing chemicals on the piece«all new now!» I just asked if I could purchase another one. But alas! The computer mysteriously went down, and they couldn’t even sell another one to me! Perhaps it was not meant to be. But even so, I think a little courtesy could have gone a long way. There are plenty of cute boutiques on Abbot Kinney. I’d steer clear of this trap.

I’ve often driven by this shop and never bothered to stop in — my mistake all along. I finally stopped in one day and realized how awesome this store is. The clothing selection is fantastic, sophisticated, stylish, and quality. There’s also a wide range of pricing which is great for me. They have terrific accessories, ambiance, and service. They also stay open till 7 so there’s always time for me to stop by after work. I can’t wait till I get to go back and shop some more!

This place is a gem in Venice, it’s a huge store of items for women and men, from flowy summery tops to vintage-style dresses. They have a large space full of finds. I saw quite a few cute tops here from $ 50 and under, which isn’t too bad. They also have designer labels like Milly and denim by Joe’s and AG. The dressing room curtain was unfortunately too short to give full privacy, though. I will return when I’m in the area.

So I have been driving past this store for a couple of years, and finally go in. It’s a lovely store. Unfortunately, the Sales Staff has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The salesgirl Amy, all but ignored me until she finished helping another customer, then proceeded to set up a dressing room for me, and as she is taking a couple of pairs of jeansI found she tells me that the jeans I have chosen are the wrong size(I think I know what size I am at age 40). I was floored. Well I try on the jeans and none of them fit. So I pull my jeans on and try on a cute top, as I’m looking at the top in the mirror. Amy comes and looks at me and tells me my jeans look horrible and that they’re ill fitting. Like most normal women, I wear a size 30. I’m 5’5″, 130 lbs and healthy. I had on a pair of blue cult jeans that I bought at a sample sale and had tailored to fit me. I tell this girl, who is a size 5 tops, to please just stop commenting on my clothes, that she’s making me feel uncomfortable and she goes on about how I need to learn how to shop for jeans, and it takes about 3 hours and that I don’t know anything about fit. I flat out tell her that she’s insulting me, and making me feel very uncomfortable and she tells me that it is not her intention, but that she’s going to fit me with a pair of jeans because that is what Laura(the owner) did for her, and she comments on my body and her own body flaws(she’s your typical LA skinny little actress type) which again, I tell her, to please stop, she’s still insulting me. Luckily the phone rang and I went back to the changing room took off the cute top I was going to purchase and left. I then drove over to the Vanity Room, where I start to shop(it’s owned by the same person which I didn’t know) and I overhear the shopgirl behind the counter relaying to a Rasta Haired dude that Amy just had a customer leave and, that I was«whining about being fat.» Now I am really livid, I can’t say how awful I felt. I knew that LA Retail can be totally snotty, but this took the cake. Being insulted and then being blamed for claiming to be insulted. After telling the girl at the Vanity Room, that they were talking about me, I asked for the owner and some rasta haired dude tells me he is, and that he stands by Amy’s customer service, and that I don’t know anything about jeans –I said to him that he needs to have a conversation with her on her approach and he said that he didn’t. I told him that they will never shop there again and I left and went and dropped $ 300 at Anonymous on Venice Blvd where the staff is just amazing and treat you like a valued customer.
