When you are in Venice Beach in November and its like 80 degrees outside, you should most definitely find somewhere outside to enjoy a cold one and a meal. The Patio was one of the first outdoor venues that jumped out at us. The first clue that maybe we should have kept walking was the fact that we were the only ones there. I mean…‘the reality is’ it was November. How many people are really out at the beach anyway? Right? Our thoughts too… So we go in. First thing they do is bring Brody a water dish. Didn’t even have to ask… so that was definitely a positive. We each ordered a Stella and a chicken wrap. His was jalapeño spicy or some shit like that, and mine was a chicken schwarma with tahini sauce. Now… the wraps looked nice, but you aren’t supposed to say«samsies» when you order different dishes. Lame. Also lame cuz the server didn’t tell us about the $ 5 burrito and a beer spesh and we had already ordered when we finally saw the sign. Wasn’t a memorable meal. Wasn’t a place I’d bring the family back too. If you see the patio… keep walking. I wish I had a suggestion… but alas, I don’t live in Venice.

Got five bucks? Well, then you’ve got yourself an ice cold one and damn tasty soft taco. Yep, that’s their deal. A beer and a taco for five bucks as you sit outside and freak watch. I also witnessed other patrons enjoying large tropical beverages with umbrellas… if that’s your thing. Or you’re a guy who acts like a sorority girl. Either way, I’ve strolled past this establishment for years without giving it a go. Never will I make that foolish mistake again. Thank you Venice for yet another treat.
