Subs are delicious and everything was very fresh. The place is bright and clean, and service is great. The woman taking orders was super friendly and enjoyed making conversation with the customers.

So glad my friends treated me to dinner here last night — awesome food, great atmosphere, clean restroom too(that’s important to me) I understand that all food is homemade. The burger that I ordered was done«cannibal style» the way I like it, and topped with bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato and what not — truly delicious!!! Fries were plentiful and good. Freshly made cheesecake was to die for… Maybe that’s the wrong word to use, it was just soooooooooooo good!!! HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHISPLACE!!!

Great subs but they never seem to be open. The last there times I’ve gone during the day, they’ve been closed. This time I went I saw two other potential customers, besides myself, walk up to the door and leave. Doesn’t seem like a good business practice

Service: I stopped by to pick up lunch for a nosh at the park and to nibble on the way there. It was just after 11AM and she greeted me as soon as I entered. The plan was the haddock & fries but I wasn’t able to see it on the boards, thought of asking about it but they seemed busy putting together call in orders so ordered the other item that was mentioned on Unilocal that was of interest which was the Reuben. Ordered, paid, waited and watched. Watched gloves being donned to handle food and same gloves handle hair, face, shirt, stapler and bits of paper. The finale of watching the same gloves handling my sandwich to wrap it. I probably would have jumped up and requested new gloves if she handled money or sneezed on them but there were still the fries to be produced and I am sure that I have eaten food that was more contaminated at any buffet with lots of people playing with the food so I let it slide. She may have been able to wrap the sandwich without touching it but wearing gloves while touching stuff other than food shows a basic lack of understanding of glove use hygiene and makes me wonder if gloves are used in the kitchen correctly. So fries came up and I went. Food: Dug into the shoestring fries as I drove to the park. Not hot from the fryer but warm from sitting around since 10:45am? The call in order will be disappointed too since their fries will sit around longer than mine did. The fries tasted a little like tater tots to me because there was a slight onion after taste. Not sure if they were supposed to taste that way or the oil needed changing. Pulled out the sandwich at the park and it was hotter than the fries. The Reuben tasted ok, the bread fell apart but I managed not to wear my lunch this time. Aftermath: Not long after finishing, there was a mild stomach cramp for a short time that I put down to psychosomatic reaction from watching glove use or misuse to be more accurate. Tried to look up their inspections on but there were none to be seen until included Historic Licenses and some odd business practices showed up. Same location but different ‘companies’ with different web pages for inspection information due to «ownership changes». This information is from which is the state website where you can check for food inspections: It was YELLOWSUBCAFELLC until 2012 when it became YELLOWSUB(this is where all the inspections are listed) until 2015 when it became the current YELLOWSUBCAFELLC(this shows up on a normal search with no inspections) and in the future during 2016 or more likely 2017 it will become YELLOWSUBLLC(this shows up on a normal search as Application in Progress) And yet the ownership(& management) hasn’t changed since 2002 according to Florida’s
Well, here is the link to the most current inspections
until 2016 then it will probably be
You may note that they have had hygiene issues as noted on the inspection on 11/17/2015 where this was noted: Employee cracked raw shell eggs and then handled ready-to-eat food and/or clean equipment or utensils without washing hands. Male cook went from cracking eggs into touching spatula, single service items, cooked sausage and bread. No hand wash in between. **Warning** But on the re-inspection on 11/18/2015 No Violations Were Observed at all.

OMG! Reuben sandwich! Must try!!! My friends that live here swear by ‘em, and they were right! Wish I could live off these reubens without having a heart attack. Delivery guy was super friendly which was no big surprise given this laid back neck of the woods. My only minor regret is that I had not picked it up myself to prevent the fries from being a bit soggy(not their fault, as I ordered during peak lunch hours) The fries and Greek salad I ordered were still great, but would have been even better if I had made the quick drive to pick them up myself.

When I visit yellow sub, I have a hard time choosing one of my favorites there. Everything is made fresh and home made style. Yesterdays pastrami on a kaiser roll was fabulous. French fries cooked perfectly as well. My husband had fish and fries and was equally pleased. Chicken salad is so good too. I have had a hard time finding a waldorf style chicken salad, but yellow sub came through with the best I have had since moving from New England.

Excellent small local sandwich shop that offers a whole lot more! Every meal is packed full of flavor and unexpectedly delicious! Don’t be fooled by their size or outwardly appearance… Yellow Sub is consistently a five star shop in my book!

Don’t go for breakfast! 7.50 for an omelet that did not include toast or potato. To make matters worse the omelet was undercooked and runny! This place is a good hangout. If you just want to have a cup of coffee and toast with peanut butter. There are five tables in the whole place and never once was the place full! We ordered the special which was corned beef hash and eggs which was 6.99. They ran out and it was only 8:45 am.

My husband and I opted to have breakfast. We are regulars for lunch. The biscuits and gravy were amazing, according to my husband. Great breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions. Coffee fresh and good. Ranks right up there for a good, reasonable breakfast choice

After a few ups and downs, we found this sub shop to be very customer focused. I can appreciate an owner who reaches out to their customers and tries to make a negative experience better. Yellow Sub has done just that. I love their daily specials, and when we try to think of something easy we can have delivered for lunch, Yellow Sub is one of our first thoughts. I’m eager to try their breakfast, and maybe even go eat inside the restaurant soon!

Found this place on accident. At work I was craving a cheesesteak sub but the normal place was closed. I decided to try this merely on the basis that they were the only place open. I went with their regular 8″ cheesesteak w/MOP(mushroom, onions & peppers) and bacon(everything is better with bacon). Within my first few bites of this wonderfully cooked sub, I knew this was my new place to get a cheesesteak. Found this place to be less expensive than were I was going and you were getting more food for a smaller price(6.79 for 8″ vs. 6.99 for 6″). Who would argue with that?

I am a big fan of the Broccoli Cheese Soup and the first time I have tried it at Yellow Sub, I had to toss it. It was very grainy and didn’t taste good at all. The delivery man is nice though.

Basic sub shop with some home made items & weekly specials. I opted for the baked haddock, coleslaw & wedding soup. Good choices. Order at counter, all plastic utensils & dishes, no atmosphere but clean & friendly.
