We placed an order online on New Year’s Eve and when it said it would be here in 2 ½ hours, we called to find out if that was the case. She said it would be about 75 minutes, or we could come pick it up in 15 minutes. I told her it was fine, that we would wait. For delivery. An hour and a half went by and when I called to ask about our order she said that we switched to carry out and when we didn’t show up she cancelled the order. Why wouldn’t she call the phone number on the order to find out if we wanted to cancel? So dumb. We only ordered Pizza Hut because it was the only one open. I definitely won’t order here again.

My career choice has always been difficult this time of year-soon as we leave the Ventura county fair it’s automatically Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, before the ten months of repeating about the fair commences. I recently learned Advent is a beautiful time of year and if one is becoming stressed they are observing it wrong, having said that, stress was here anyway! ‘Twas a perfect night for my housemate to suggest a Christmas movie of my choice and a dinner of his choice(under the pretense I wouldn’t have to cook so he wouldn’t have to help cleanup after). So the evening of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ and Pizza Hut pizza commenced. He loves Pizza Hut and has declared it the BEST pizza there is without ever sampling the offerings of a real Italian pizza joint. I can’t hold it against him because hey, anytime Donna Reed and Jimmy Stewart are on the screen, it is indeed a wonderful life. Went with a two medium pie deal for $ 13.99 and the pizza wasn’t bad-can’t go wrong with a pepperoni, pineapple, honey sriracha concoction. The downside is the $ 3.50 delivery charge that does nothing but pad the bottom line of Pizza Hut’s profits. Oh well! All in all it was a good night.

Who wants to listen to employee reviews while waiting for pizza?! It is so inappropriate. I wanted to try the pizza with the hotdogs so I’m here .but seriously… not cool.

Great service and great pizza. The stuff was really nice too. Only reason for not 5 is that the price is a bit over then the competition.

Worst pizza place ever. Worst service ever. Learn to make a pizza. Learn some manners. Go back to school. And stop smoking meth. My recommendation is to shut this store down and send some adults to cook our pizza. Ventura hates the staff here. We will revolt.

Worse experience I’ve ever had with their service !!! Dear magali you have to review your current management personnel and make some changes because you will loose a lot of customers due to their lack of customer service. My experience was a late delivery over 2 hrs/cold pizza /and no apology from the manager when I called all he said was«sometimes we get busy» well guess what you won’t be very busy for long I PROMISEYOUTHAT! People spend your money somewhere else with better pizza and better service… OUT

Pathetic Delivery and Customer Service. Didn’t received my pizza delivery for the second time for same store. When called the Store for their stupidity, I heard the most unbelievable /ill-logical reasons. Better order the pizzas from other ‘Pizza hut’ shops in Ventura but definitely not this one.

Pizza Hut needs to review their credit card merchant agreement. It is not okay to process someone’s credit card from an on-line order and then have a delivery driver upon delivery write down or take an unofficial imprint of the card. You can have him look at the card or ask for id but why would I give my credit card number to a driver. When I looked at other reviews it states that there have been multiple problems with this practice and identity theft. You can have back your pizzas. Won’t be ordering again.

I got a coupon that states, «ANYPIZZA, any size, any toppings $ 12 Carryout.» I called and was denied a small gluten free pizza. Even the small print below did not exclude this option. The woman on the phone was rude and didn’t even try to ask anyone. She straight up said no, she can’t do that. False advertisement. Way to go Pizza Hut. Thanks for crushing my pizza dream. I won’t be calling them EVER.

Wow, I have now found my new go-to Wing Wednesday spot! I love supporting my local/mom n’ pops shops… but I found a coupon in my mail today for an, «any size, any toppings» pizza for only $ 12– that’s a pretty good deal for carry out. When I went online, they had a moving marketing banner deal for Wing Wednesday, $ 0.60 per wing. They have different flavors but I had to be original to try the«naked» traditional bone in and for flavor the garlic parm traditional bone in. The wings are ahhhhhhmazing here, surprisingly from a pizza spot! They have the perfect amount of crisp… And the garlic parm was perfectly drenched with just the right amount of sauce. Size also matters, the Wingstreet wings are actually pretty meaty. Also ordered was one of the Chicken Tuscan Pasta– which comes with 4 breadsticks for only $ 8. The pasta was delish– verrrrrrry very cheesy. So imagine their extra cheese pizza?.. Well imagine all that cheese atop pasta with chicken, yuMmy! Location is kinda sketch, wish the parking lot was more lit. Online ordering available, as well as free delivery! Please check out my pics, wishing Unilocal had smellavision… Pictures do not do justice! ;)

Ordered medium pizza, cheese bread and small hot wings. The hot wings were delicious! The pizza crust was overwhelming and flavorless. The cheese bread was a long loft without enough cheese to cover the bread… And the delivery fee plus one extra topping turned my $ 16.99 special into a $ 28.95 dollar meal! Than after looking up the calories it was soooo not worth it! I didn’t even really feel satisfied after eating it… Plus they brought no napkins and no crushed red pepper… And they were completely out of diet soda. So I didn’t order any soda… I would have been better getting a frozen pizza from Vons!

I called to order with a coupon. The guy on the phone was very nice & trying to enter the order but was having trouble so asked assistance & the superior who was«helping» him with the order was a jerk. He 1st told him that I asked for too many toppings, so after changing my request he told the guy, «she will have to give the coupon to the driver». I had no problem with the request, so then he told the guy I had to give him a coupon code. There was no code on the coupon, so then he told him to tell me just to go online to place my order. I felt bad for the guy on the phone as he actually WAS trying to help me & getting grief for it. Needless to say I did order a pizza… from Domino’s– who did NOT ask me for the coupon code OR give me a hard time on the phone.

I went here yesterday to pick up 2 pizza’s for my staff. I called and the worker asked me if I wanted thin or pan crust. When I told him pan he said they didn’t have pan crust. He then repeated it and said thin or hand tossed. I go to pick it up, there was no one else there but us. This fat guy with tattoos comes over and gets our pizza’s. He tells me the total and I give him my cash. I then ask for peppers and cheese and in a rude tone he told me they don’t have any cheese. So I ask him for plates and again, in a rude manner he tells me they don’t have plates. I then ask him for ranch and he told me it would be .54 each so I told him that’s fine. He started to ring me up and I told him Nevermind.(only because I did not want to spend another dime there!) as I was holding the pizza’s waiting for him to get give my 20 back. He threw it at me onto the pizza boxes. I then grabbed my belongings and left. While I was walking out, another employee was walking in and I told him that the guy working is very rude! I did nothing to deserve his attitude towards a paying customer! He was rude from the phone call to me picking up my food! I will never go back there! I rather pay the extra money and eat elsewhere! If he doesn’t like his job, why does he even work there!

I’ve tried to order from here 3 times. First time it was never delivered, they said they tried calling me but I never had a missed call. Second time they forgot part of my order and took an hour to come back with it, and I was not impressed with the manager who acted put out someone had to come back to deliver it. This time the delivery guy dropped the marinara sauce on my front porch and it exploded every(whatever this happens sometime, poor guy felt really bad) and the pizza wasn’t very good, breadsticks weren’t crispy. Time to start ordering from somewhere else.

WORST Pizza Hut ever!!! Horrible, disrespectful, incompetent employees with no regard for the customers wants or wishes. Whoever owns this chain has failed miserably. Every single person there is so rude, what ever happened to the customer satisfaction??? I have never been treated so bad at a restaurant. I would like to find out who to contact in regards to this horrible establishment. One star only cause it wouldn’t let me give zero.

Never have I in the history of visiting any fast food establishment have I ever been so upset, so disrespected, and insulted all at the same time. I places the order online through Pizza Hut.Com I clicked on the buffalo wings that you can choose online, I clicked on the ones that looked like regular buffalo wings medium flavor, then placed my order for the Pizza box, I arrived and paid, the worker looked a little confused towards my order because it was in two different boxes instead of the giant ones it usually comes in. So I checked and everything was right except I was given boneless wings and I wanted regular wings, I let the employee know that I clicked on what looked like regular wings not boneless, but it’s not what I want. The employee said it was my fault for ordering wrong online, I let him know regardless of online order or over the phone this location is where I ordered and this location is who I’m paying and I just want to have what I want and not forced to take something I did not want, I asked for a Manager and he said“ummm…I’m the manager today” I said if he can fix my order to what I want, I’m paying for it so why shouldn’t I get what I want, or even ask if I want to order some and try to make some more money for your location. Again he gave me the it’s your fault for ordering online response, so I asked for the owners number, if he didn’t want to help me out, he refused to say anything other then that’s her name, which was Nayeli. I asked for her number and he refused to give me info, then I asked for a corporate number and he said corporate can’t do anything to us were independently owned, I found the corporate number, and yes Mr. Steve a Corporation can take over a franchise location if it’s placing it’s corporation in bad light, but personally I would never want that to happen Ms Nayeli is probably a hard worker and has earned her franchise and position she is in as a Franchisee. But please Ms Nayeli don’t let’s this Manager Steve smear your name or the name of Pizza hut, in case Steve is not his name he is a young man, a Balding Hair, Black squared glasses, with what appears as a tattoo in his right forearm. As I left Mr. Steve in a loud voice laughed at me as I walked away. That really got me upset, so I asked the young lady who was working busily making orders, what her name was and she stated it was Anaheli or something close to that for her name, and she acknowledged the disrespect and the way he laughed at me. I called the nearest Pizza Hut and spoke with a really nice young lady who gave me all the info I needed to address my concern. Please do avoid this Pizza Hut, travel the extra 5 mins to the Victoria location and be treated with integrity. If I could I’d definitely give the Thompson location negative Stars. 1 star is 6 to many, I have never been to the Victoria location but even without stepping a foot in they earned my business

My family use to go to this pizza hut every week during Lent and every week on Fridays and the manager George was always there and was very friendly. Georges Motto the customer come first. Now George is no longer there and the employees don’t give a crap about anything especially the customers. We did the online order and it said the pizza would be ready at 7:04pm we arrived at 7:16 to give them plenty of time; when we walked in the employees were not making pizzas they were sitting on the floor cleaning. While one employee was taking phone orders and taking care of his drivers before walk in customers. We finally let him know we have an online order and he rings us up and then looks for the pizza and says it will be another 10 to 15 minutes they are not even made yet. I looked at the board where the orders are and there were 5 orders that had not been made along with ours. We asked for our money back and they refused and said they could not give a refund without the manager. I demanded our money back due to the pizza not even being made yet. I don’t know who is running this place now but I would not go there, it is dirty, and the employees are not real clean. After they were on the floor the got up and started making the pizzas without washing there hands. GROSS!

There are many many pizza choices in Ventura. Do NOT choose this Pizza Hut. Tonight, we ordered 2 pizzas. We like leftovers for work lunches. My husband HATES mushrooms, so I usually order pizzas without mushrooms as he eats more pizza than I do. Tonight I ordered: 1 large crazy cheesy crust pizza with Pepperoni 1 large Italian Trio(pepperoni, sausage, & mushrooms) 2 garlic sauces(not as good as Papa Johns). The large Italian Trio did not come with mushrooms. I had 2 pieces. NOMUSHROOMS. My husband had 1 piece(No mushrooms). I looked at my receipt. It said I ordered the Italian Trio(not the duo). The receipt does not have a phone number of the restaurant. So I went on Unilocal and found it. I called. A female employee answered. I told her the problem. «Are you sure there wasn’t ANY mushrooms?» «Yes. I am sure. I had 2 pieces.»(Even my husband had a piece looking for the pesky mushrooms.) «Well, I can give you 20% off your next pizza.» «No. That’s not good enough.»(I don’t know what I want, but a future discount when I’m considering never ordering from there ever again isn’t it.) ” OK. I can send out another pizza minus the 2 or 3 pieces that you ate.”(So I will be getting MOST of what I paid for NOT all of what I paid for??? Are you SERIOUS?) «No. What is the manager’s name?» «Magali.» “Goodbye.“ I will never order anything from this Pizza Hut ever again. You have LOSTMYBUSINESS forever. Sayonara. Adiós. Done. History. Finito. Good Riddance.

One of the best Pizza huts I have ever been to. I ordered my pizza and they told me it would take 10 – 15 minutes. It was ready exactly in 10 minutes. Very nice and friendly staff.

Who owns this place? They have taught their employees to act as if they are starving and live in a third world county and supplies are limited. Where ever we have lived, the Pizza Hut chain has been exactly the same but not here in Ventura. We recently moved from San Diego to Ventura. Whenever we order hot wings here it always makes us laugh. No matter how many you order you get one small container of ranch dipping sauce. When you ask for more, you are charged 54 cents each??? What is this about? If the order were 3 – 4 wings I might see this. Even then two is customary because the order is made for 2 or more people. This isn’t a third world country. Is business doing that badly in Ventura? Is this a franchise and the owner is just cheap? Is this something Pizza Hut is doing now? What’s up with that Pizza Hut Corporate Office???
