First time there yesterday. We ordered 2 half sandwiches with soup, cheeseburger and onion rings. It took forever. My grandson realized he had ordered onion rings, not fries but it took so long to be served we forgot about it. It took almost 40 minutes to be served. We told her it was for there but they bagged it to go. Their excuse was the soup was not ready yet. The soup was spring mix but it tasted like minestrone. We were so disappointed.

Eh this place was okay. It always looked packed whenever I passed by and I finally went in. The cashier was nice but wasn’t really paying attention to my husband and I. She was focused on talking to her coworker and after we ordered, it took a while for our food to come out. When it did, it looked really good but when my husband took a bite off of his chicken sandwich, he didn’t like it. It was too dry and had no flavor. Mine was okay. Just a tuna melt. After leaving we both vowed to never come back again.

If you are craving a good sandwich and just want something quick for lunch, this place is for you! It’s nothing fancy but they have a huge selection to pick from whether if you are feeling like a cold or hot sandwich. Closed on weekends and limited hours during the day :(would recommend the Thirsty Turkey sandwich!

Let’s start with that cheap white bread they call a roll, its more like Weber bread molded in the shap of a roll. Id rather eat subway bread. What kind of self respecting people call this a deli, it’s more like a cafeteria food. I got a got pastrami and a Italian, which where both dry, especially the pastrami… I wouldn’t be surprised to find they buy it precooked and sliced. The man working the registar with the big black mustache had the personality of a robot. It took close to 10 minutes to get my food at 1:45 and no one in front of me. If anyone knows of a good deli in Ventura let me know.

The lady working the counter was pleasant. Pastrami on rye w/mustard & pickles was pathetic. Small, pastrami wasn’t thin & piled on, no, it was laid on flat & it’s an odd thickness & rubbery. The garden salad that I paid an extra $ 1something for was a good size but not worth it. Mainly iceberg lettuce & lots of shredded cheddar cheese. The blue cheese dressing was deceiving as it was white & thick, however it was boring & I only saw 1 lump of what I hope was blue cheese although, it could have been cottage cheese as I know that’s one way to extend a batch of dressing. Price is not worth it.

I loved the location of this place and the atmosphere is pleasant. Couple of problems… Many of the tables were dirty. We finally had to settle for a semi-dirty one but I still had to wipe the chair and the table to sit down. This place has no online presence. That baffles me. How do restaurants owners ignore that. We could not really find a good menu online to preorder our food but someone here did have some pics. They were hard to see though since they were small. I took the liberty of scanning a copy to put in here for others. Still think it’s ridiculous for restaurant owners to be so clueless when it comes to getting an online presence. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad and it was drenched in dressing. It made the lettuce soggy. It was tasy though and if I ever order it again, I will get the dressing on the side. My friends ordered a cobb salad and a chef salad and they looked good. They got their dressing on the side. The salads are HUGE! That was a plus. They were tasty too. One of my friends ordered the Thirsty Turkey sandwich. It came with fries and I had a taste. Very delicious. I will try this place again. The food was tasty. I just hope they learn how to clean their dining room P. S. One thing I saw that I should have bought were these huge bags of jerky for sale. Next time, I will get me a bag

I SHOULDHAVEREADTHEREVIEWSHEREBEFORECOMING! I used to be a regular customer here years ago when I worked near-by. I decided to come today and was unpleasantly surprised. The exterior is very worn and not inviting. Our meal was VERY overpriced! The meat in my burger was obviously old or was left out of the cooler. The pickles were obviously old also. My daughter’s tri-tip sandwich was dry and tasteless. The condiments have also changed for the worst. They look and taste like cheap elementAry school grade. For the money I spent on this, I could have gone to Black Angus down the street for an extra $ 2. I won’t be back again! I have to update my review… My daughter is allergic to fish so, while we were ordering my daughter made sure and asked if they cooked fish in the same oil as the fries. We were assured they DIDNOT make fish. So we felt comfortable ordering and eating it. Add soon as we got in the car she started complaining that her tongue and throat were swelling up. I called to complain and the man that answered argued that they don’t fry their fish, they grill it. So, obviously they cross contaminated the food. If I incur doctor bills, they WILL be hearing from me again! BEWAREOFHEALTHCODEVIOLATIONS!!!

First and last time here. Ordered a overpriced chicken sandwich that they got wrong not once but twice. When I told them they got my sandwich wrong the cook made out like it was my fault. Hope this helps. Save your money and just hit the subway up down the street. You will be much happier.

NEVER again coming back, $ 10 for a typical sandwich that I can personally make at home. waste of time and money and they have no customer service at all.

Arrived at 2:55pm but the employees were already packed up and ready to go. What kind of sandwich restaurant is closed for lunch?

Really had high hopes for this place. 10 bucks for a pastrami sandwich fries and a coke. Lets start with the sandwich, maybe a ¼ of meat, luke warm, I lost it in the bread and pickle(yes as in one slice) french fries were cold, soggy and one was even frozen. pastrami is no where to be found here so I try it where ever I can. I would have been better off going to dollar tree and buying a pack of carl budding, 25 min to get served cold and frozen food. this is a hugh NO!

Food: 5 stars The food is delicious but if they can’t get their service right and we won’t be back. Service: ½ stars They are friendly but the fact is they can never get your food out on time. Along with a long wait most times you need to check your order because something is wrong and/or missing. We called our order in and was told it would be ready in ten to fifteen, and because things went wrong with getting the order right we waited over 35 min. Something is wrong with this picture when a restaurant thinks this is ok.

This was the worse place. Where’s the meat? Go to Subway at least there you see the meat. Paid 25 dollars for sandwiches I could have made at home. Ran put of Tri tip on a Friday at lunch. Never again. Could have got a better sandwich at the gas station.

Just a heads up, as of 2008 this place is no longer associated with Cronies Sports Grill. I see Cronies mentioned in a lot of comments and I don’t want people to be confused.

My husband and I decided to try the Sandwich Factory for lunch today. Several years ago we used to eat lunch there on a regular basis but our business relocated to another part of the city and we haven’t been recently. The place looked about the same when we first walked in. Although it was only a little after 12:00 it wasn’t very busy. The owner/manager? took our order right away. He seemed a bit distracted but wrote everything down and we saw the order was correct. 21 minutes later we received our lunch. I can’t imagine how two cold sandwiches could take so long to prepare. Fortunately we weren’t in a big hurry, obviously people who only get 30 – 60 minutes for lunch wouldn’t be able to eat here. The bread on both sandwiches was stale. It is only Tuesday and they aren’t open on the weekends. The bread must have been left over from the week before. My husband had ordered the roast beef and would have gotten considerably more meat at Arby’s. He also requested lettuce only but it came with tomato:( The worst part of our sandwiches was the lettuce and tomato. The tomato had a large black spot and the lettuce was dark and rotting(see picture). It was gross. I don’t know if the kitchen staff is told to use all produce spoiled or not or if they just don’t care. The manager was walking through the restaurant so I called him over to look at them. He didn’t say a word. He just picked up the plate and headed back to the kitchen. We expected him to come and apologize but never saw him again. We did not finish our sandwiches and hope we do not get sick from the parts we did eat. From now on we will go to Arby’s or Subway for sandwiches in this area. It was be faster, cheaper and considerably better.

Pretty good little spot and I have no complaints about my club sandwich. Staff was friendly and food was pretty decent, but the atmosphere is lacking. Its a relatively unassuming location to start off with being located in a mostly industrial type area. The only reason I even went there was because they are next to one of my favorite Breweries, Surf Brewery. They were a quick solution to my hunger so I gave it a whirl. Not too bad and I’d go there again, but it was about average.

I cannot understand the negative reviews for this place — I’ve been eating here for years and I’m pretty picky. Breakfast burritos are awesome, also try the blackened chicken salad. Big portions, friendly people, convenient, reasonable. Ambiance — not so much, but that’s OK — you are in an industrial area, remember?

Man, $ 12.42 for a small turkey breast sandwich, a couple of drinks, and a small bag of chips? Good thing I split the sandwich with a girl who weighs about 95 pounds, or we would have starved. I’ve heard breakfast is good, but I probably won’t be back after the highway robbery I received at lunch.

The Sandwich Factory is in such a great location for the businesses in the area and their food is quite tasty. The place is in walking distance of a few large business parks and near a gas station… so it’s pretty convenient to get to. Since it is a division of Cronies their BLT sandwiches are amazing! They serve the most bacon-stuffed BLT around here — you defiantly get your money’s worth! The only thing I find odd is that you can’t the same French fries at The Sandwich Factory that you can at Cronies… and the ones at Cronies are much better tasting. But that is really the only complaint I have on the place. I’ve tried many of their sandwiches and salads and have enjoyed everything so far.
