LongHorn Steakhouse

We were traveling through Victor on our way to Boston and stopped at this Longhorn for dinner. It wasn’t a very clean store although the food was good. The service wasn’t very good. It took 15 minutes just to order drinks. Our server was Michelle and it seemed like we were a bother to her. Definitely room for improvement.

Today was a zero degree day, so walking into a Resturant that was warm and comfortable already made the meal great.
Like always the wait is between 30 – 45 min and we do call ahead seating. The place was packed (because it’s so good), so to hold us over the management brought over a sample of their bloomin onion, which was very courteous. I did not go to the bar tonight, but usually I kill the time by having a beer (cold!) and catching a game on the tv. Their cocktails are very good too, hats off to the bar tenders.
Once we were seated, the waiter brought over some fresh bread, which was still warm. Very good. The ambiance here is very comfortable.
I always get the Outlaw Ribeye (their ribeye steak with the bone still on the cut). And like usual, every time I go to this Longhorn location, my steak is perfect. Excellent steak! I know people who get the Sirloin and they say great things about it too. Add a custom baked potato and a salad and you got yourself an amazing meal.
I’ve been to the Henrietta location once and it was good as well, but 9 times out of 10 this is our spot. I recommend Longhorn Steakhouse. Some people will bash on chain restaurants, well because, it’s a chain. Not Longhorn, great management and a great team in the kitchen. Also, clean bathrooms. Enjoy!

I’ve visited here many times before in the past, usually with family members or friends for a good wholesome steak dinner. Considering there are many LongHorn’s in the area, I expect most of the them to function the same. However, with this location, I have had never a bad or disappointing experience to this date.
You won’t be lost trying to find this building just because of it’s close proximity to the nearby mall which also makes this steakhouse a good choice if you want to take a long break from shopping all day. Building design, it’s sheek, edgy, and modern on the outside but a bit more rustic on the inside to give it that «steakhouse» vibe. However, it can be a tad dark, even on bright sunny days outside since most of the blinds are drawn but it’s still easy to navigate around when you have to use the restroom.
There is a bar area… as in most LongHorn’s that operates well and houses a nice assortment of alcohol for those who can handle it. The waiting area at the front isn’t that large though and on crowded evenings were it can pile up fast, expect to either wait outside or stand in an awkward corner with other people breathing down your neck. However, the hostesses always seem to be accommodating and have a pleasant attitude if you need help and they will be more than happy to do their best to serve your needs on top of trying to do their jobs.
However, I can’t judge a restaurant, more or less a chain then just be looking at the building! I come here for steaks and there is a reason why this LongHorn is my number one choice over the other locations around Rochester.
I tend to get rare steaks, usually a nice sized sirloin and so far it has never let me down. Not only do the flavors work, the taste is just simply wonderful and I usually get upset that I didn’t order a bigger cut when I devour my meal in under ten minutes without even knowing. While I recommend the simple sirloin, there also rib-​eyes, prime rib, and T-​bones for those who want a more sensational steak experience.
On the other hand, if you are dragged here by accident and aren’t in the mood for steak, try some of the chicken or fish specialties! The Napa Grilled Chicken is one of my personal favorites if I don’t want a cut of beef, plus it’s a pretty healthy option!
None of the dishes I’ve ordered here have ever been under or overcooked so you shouldn’t worry when deciding the temperature of the beef but if you want to be on the safe side, just order a degree lower than what you expect in case it happens. If you don’t run into this problem, then you will have a fine time enjoying whatever you choose to bite into.
So I’m still fairly impressed by this steakhouse for it being a national chain and all but with the amazing quality of the food they put out and the friendly service, I highly recommend to all this is a great destination for either a night out with friends, or a nice date setting for those looking to «hook up», if you get what I’m saying!

A lot of times after a long day of shopping I head over to Longhorn steakhouse Victor Location.
The combinations of different style steaks are amazing… sometimes bacon wrapped steaks sometimes topped with lobster sometimes cheeses… always something awesome.
Its consistently good here and great waitstaff.
Always been a fan of outback… but longhorn is my new fave. The cuts of steak have a very distinctive taste and texture somehow… its like cutting thru butter… you always want that.
Anyways if you are ever at eastview shopping try this location its right across the street.

The service was good. I go early so it should be good. The French onion soup is excellent and a meal in itself. Occasionally it is barely warm and I have to send it back. Steaks are great but there is either too much salt and/​or pepper on them. Flavor is good though and always cooked perfectly. The bread is great. No room for dessert.
I love the atmosphere at this location.

Great/​prompted service, the food was well prepared, and enjoyable atmosphere. I enjoyed 6oz med-​rare sirloin streak with rice, which very satisfying.

arrived an hour before closing. was greeted and seated nice and quick and food came out within 20 mins. for being such late customers, service and food were EXCELLENT. we didn’t want them to stay too long either and we were also starving so everything worked out great. even had 10 mins to spare! would definitely return!

If you are in a hurry this is really NOT the place for you. Waited almost 15 minutes for our food and almost an hour for our food. Just ordered a burger so it is not like it was something special. The waitress hasn’t appeared at our table in almost 30 minutes so we have no idea how much longer h till we can eat our lunch. Really disappointed in this visit.

We had an amazing Ribeye called the «Outlaw» fabulous flavor and cooked to perfection! Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had the perfect meal and flawless service. Prices are reasonable and menu had something for everyone! After dinner we had the Peach Raspberry Tart with Vanilla Bean Ice cream. Iced Tea kept flowing, and Jenn our server made sure we were satisfied. Great food and great service! Too bad we don’t live here. We’d be regulars! Thanks Jenn you took great care of us!

We ended up waking out because after 10 min we still had not received water. It’s very dark and dingy. It didn’t not smell speaking in there at all. And who would want to eat somewhere that didn’t s smell good or already clean steak is to eat to come by to waste your time here. You’re welcome

The First Time We Went It Was Excellent! The Second Time However, Was Horrible!!! First We Waited an Hour To Be Seated Then We Waited Over an Hour For Our Food. When It Did Arrive The Steaks Were Severely Overcooked. Have Not Returned Since!

We have been here a couple times since our last review. We can’t get enough of this place. We love it!

This was probably the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We had a party of 5 and none of us ended up even getting to eat the food we ordered. It took them nearly an hour to even produce the food and then when they did we had to take it to go since we were on lunch. This took another 20 minutes to pack it up. Their solution was to take a total of 7 dollars off of the tab. They never had the manager show his face and on the way out the guy at the door argued with us on our terrible experience. And on top of that the food was terrible, overcooked, and cold. I was so disappointed that I will never go back and I will go out of my way to advise others not to either.

This place is great! The steaks were really high quality and cooked to perfection! Everything that was put on our table was delicious! The waitress that served on us, Jen, was funny and a delight! The ambiance is country western but very modern! I loved every second here! Next time up in Rochester from Brooklyn and off my diet, i will be frequenting this establishment!

Went there about a week ago and had a great time. The wait was short, about 15 minutes. And the food was awesome! I had the salmon, and my fiancé had the T-​bone steak. They were both excellent. Our server was fast and timely, checked back the right amount of times. Super friendly. Would go here again for sure.

Consistent good service, food can go from good to great! I will be back.

This was the best Longhorn Steakhouse I have been to. The staff was very friendly from the hostess, to bartender to waitress. They made our evening quite enjoyable. Our steaks was delicious and prepared just right. And, the peanuts at the bar were fresh. They even had local wine to offer (but not beer).
My only complaint was they offered a key lime pie that was NOT key lime pie — just lime flavored cheesecake. So disappointing. tsk, tsk.

Five Stars just for the service from Jennifer!

I have been here a few different times with my husband and we have never been disappointed.
I have had chicken meals as well as steak– which is very rare for me, I always get chicken. However, I was very happy with my idea to give steak a chance because it was melt in your mouth delicious! I like my steak to have no pink and it can often become tough if not cooked properly but they had no problems! It was so good that I will probably always give their steaks a chance while I am there.
Their sides are also always really good and I love their honey wheat bread.
The only reason why I would not give it five stars is because they need more wait staff. There is always a wait to get a table and then once you are seated there are always quite a few open tables where you could have been seated earlier if they had the staff to wait on those tables. However, the staff is always helpful and very attentive– They make you feel wanted and needed.
Overall, I will continue to come here when I have the chance.

I read the reviews on the Longhorn Steakhouse in Henrietta and was surprised… I went to the one in Victor and was completely blown away. The steaks were incredible and the sides were too good for words. It is a bit expensive but honestly I thought it was worth it. Give it a try!
