Domino’s Pizza

I’m new to VA Beach, so I picked this Domino’s simply because it had a slightly higher Unilocal rating. Glad I did! I got a large pizza with pepperoni, onions, and feta cheese, as well as hot buffalo specialty chicken since that came with the coupon I used. Regardless of location, the chicken is the main reason I consistently choose Domino’s over Papa John’s. It is THAT good. But back to this Domino’s. The site tracker said it’d take 24 – 34 minutes to get here, but even with the dismal weather, I doubt that it was even that long. The delivery driver (Glenn, if the tracker is correct about his name) was polite and very nice. So yeah, basically what I’m getting at is that everything was perfect, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I’ll be ordering again soon! I’m telling ya’ll, that buffalo chicken is addictive.

I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich which arrived burnt to a crisp. The meat on the inside was as hard as a rock and the outside of the bread was black! I also ordered cheese bread that was not cut! There were score marks on the bottom but they didn’t even break the surface of the bread. I had to get out a knife to cut through it

This is not for the food, even though the wings last night were awesome and just what I was craving! But this is for the fantastic interaction with the delivery driver, Peyton.
I work for one of the top 5 financial institutions in country and our whole culture is about great customer service. Everything anyone does is too strive to make each person feel like they are our only customer and concern. Now in non work life, I hardly see this from companies and places I visit. And I can easily brush off non existent customer service because hey not every company brands themselves the way the financial world strives to in terms of customer satisfaction.
When Peyton delivered our food I listened to the conversation he carried with my boyfriend and was like man! This dude is engaging, pleasant, and just friendly. Not sure how it came out in the maybe 2 minutes conversation and exchange of money and food that was taking place but it got mentioned we just moved in and as Peyton was leaving he stopped and said ‚“Enjoy your new place!” And then my boyfriend turns to me and said wow he was awesome. This short interaction literally made my night.
Stunned! Now to Domino’s, your company is very lucky to have someone like him working for you. Someone who is energetic and engaging representing your brand. With everything being digital from ordering to tracking this is the only human interaction we have and it blew my mind how genuine Peyton was. If I had a business card with me I would have approached him to steal him away from you. :-)

I’m not one to normally complain about pizza joints because life is life and stuff happens. But when I call up and place an order, and then call 25 minutes after the expected delivery time to find out whoever placed my call didn’t bother to put it in the system — that makes me angry.
Especially since I spelled out my address, letter by letter, number by number. And then to be told that no order is in the system for that address… Yeah, order somewhere else.

I ordered my pizza, dessert and soda online. I loved the little diagram thing that allowed me to see what steps were being taken to get me my food delivered. It was perfect. I think my delivery drivers name was Daryl and he was very polite. VERY satisfied with my experience. Oh and the pizza was AWESOME!

the worse location i have ever ordered from! ordered a pizza and they screwed up the address and found out when the pizza didn’t come an hour later. put in a second order with them and they sent to the same wrong address! staff is rude! left me on hold for 20 minutes just trying to cancel order and stop payment. never ordering from here again!!!

Update for Ost 15 2014 Holland Rd location. Extra cheese is mo different then regular. If the peperino gets any thinner they will blow away. Im thinking tery Pizza Hut again. or store bought.

I’m not generally a fan of Dominos, but we received a gift card for Christmas and decided to give it a shot. We weren’t disappointed! I highly recommend the chicken bacon carbonara artisian pizza!!! It. is. AMAZING!

I just realized I never left a review about this place. I love this Domino’s. I have NEVER had a bad experience with this store. They always give a 33 – 43 minute delivery time. I don’t think I ever waited more than 20 – 25 minutes for deliver, regardless on how many pizzas I ordered.
I was one of those «holdouts» that promised to never order another pizza from them «in my natural black life». But I went ahead anyway and took the challenge, and this particular Domino’s was the one I ordered from. 3 years later, I’m still ordering from them (only pizza that delivers to this house). Wonderful service, excellent customer service. Keep it up, Domino’s!
