So, the customer service was mediocre compared to the other locations I’ve been to. One situation that really stood out to me in particular is when I couldn’t hear the associate at one point when he asked me a question and I asked him to repeat himself, he stopped and took a whole 10 seconds to repeat his question as if I wasn’t paying attention and he was irritated that he had to repeat himself. I was VERY close to verbally ripping him to shreds due to the blatant rudeness, but decided not to play into it. Enunciate and project, mush mouth. And you’ll probably get pretty far. Wouldn’t hurt to acquire some tact either. Mediocre tuna sandwich, my bread tasted like it was on its way to becoming a croûton. 2 stars for cleanliness and speed.

My husband and I went here last night(5÷14÷15) to grab dinner on the way home. We walked in and it was packed — didn’t expect that for almost 7pm on a Thursday night. We thought about leaving because we had our impatient toddler w/us but we decided to stay because with 4 – 5 people working behind the counter we thought«How bad can the wait be» … we were in there for al little over 30 min!!! We only ordered 2 subs … WHY does it take that long to make 2 subs??? Any other location we’ve visited(with only 1 – 2 workers) we only had to wait MAYBE10 minutes! RIDICULOUS!!! The cashier was new(I understand everyone has to learn at some point but maybe when it’s rush hour have him do something else) because he kept having problems with the register ringing up things and not knowing how to redeem coupons. The girl kept coming over to help him — the lightbulb FINALLY went off in her head to switch with him and make him do something else so she could quickly ring people up. Thank goodness she had already made our subs because each time she came over to help him she never took her gloves off when she was touching the computer. I thought it’s okay she’ll take them off and put new CLEAN ones on when she’s done. NOPE. She just went right back to making subs. Good thing I wasn’t the next person in line because I would’ve had her change the gloves! I don’t know how dirty the computer screen is and I certainly don’t want my food being touched after that. Guess it didn’t click in her head she should’ve automatically done it. The staff members were all very nice — just having an off night … I hope! Subs were okay — bread was hard and they forgot to put pickles on my sub. This is the second or third time we’ve visited this location and had issues. If we continue to eat at Jersey Mikes it will NOT be this location(which is a shame because it’s less than 2 miles from our house). Every time we visit this place we have problems with our subs, the wait time is beyond ridiculous or we deal with rude employees. Now I know why this location has such a low rating!

My husband and I really enjoy their subs, but I went about a week ago and they were out of bread! There were about 3 rolls of bread left and the customers in line were trying to be considerate to leave bread for people ordering behind them. It was ridiculous! I left, but would give them another chance. I haven’t had problems at the other locations.

The food was not good and did not taste fresh. The only good thing was I did not get food poisoning afterward. My biggest issue with this location however was the terrible service. My husband and I came in and there was only one other person in line and there were four staff members at the counter. As we got in line, a family of four came in to pick up a call ahead order which was fine but at this point we had already been in line for a few minutes and we had yet to be greeted or even acknowledged by any of the staff. Even if they were busy, which they were not, the least they could do would be to say«hi, I’ll be with you in one moment.» Anyway another couple of minutes pass and they finally acknowledge us by saying«can I help you» with an attitude, like we’re the inconvenience. Anyway, we finally get our order in and I’m paying with a card and the cashier says that the card machine will ask me a few questions like a survey. That’s fine but what comes up is a suggestion for a 15, 20, or 25% tip to be charged to my card. I automatically said no because not only was it terrible service but it was fast food ordered at a counter. They were not extra friendly or helpful, they didn’t refill my water glass and they didn’t deliver our food. In what world do they get tipped 25%. Yes, they are earning minimum wage probably but it’s on their employer to pay them more, not to pass the buck to the consumer who is already paying $ 10 for a crappy sandwhich. I’m not going back because the food and service were bad and their business practice are distasteful.

This location is better than Lynnhaven. They seem more organized and of course the subs are great. I wish I could try all the subs but for some reason I always seem to pick between 2 subs!

I tested both Jimmy Johns and this one because they’re next to each other. I literally went to both at the same lunch and grabbed a small Italian with the works. Jersey Mike’s was hands down much better than Jimmy’s. The Wine and vinegar sauce at Jersey Mike’s made the sandwich. The sandwich seemed meatier too. Jimmy Johns was a flat sub(Less than 1″). Mostly due to them ripping the soft part of the bread off the sub roll, but seemed worse than a sub made at home. This gets knocked down a star because they can’t toast their sub. I still prefer the Zero’s Grinder.

I like Jersey Mike’s, especially their«giant» that’s enough for two meals. They have a decent formula that makes it easy to succeed. Only a dozen or so different sandwiches, only a couple of different toppings and they slice the meat to order. It’s tasty, it’s quick and it’s filling. Is it the best sandwich in the world? No. But it’s darned good and that’s A-OK for me. Tip: Go «Mike’s Way» which is an oil and vinegar dressing, salt and pepper, onions, lettuce and tomato.

Overall a good sandwich. A little pricey but compitive with other chains. The tip option kills me. I wait in line and carry my food to the table. The cashier tells you to go through a few questions before verifying the amount. It puts the customer in a awkward position and holds the line up.

Food: would have given them more like 4 stars. It isn’t the best sandwich I ever had, but it was pretty dang good. I really liked their menu options(wraps, hot subs and cold subs) and the different toppings. Customer service: more like 2 stars. It’s pretty obvious that they are a new establishment and haven’t quite figured out the pace of things yet. They have a flawed system with their employees. We came when there was only 1 person ahead of our group and it took a significant amount of time to get our food. They have one person that stays on register, one that makes the subs, one that cuts the meat, and one that works the oven. The problem with this was that the guy that made the subs got REALLY backed up. Instead of offering to help, all the other employees just stood there. The register guy could have asked«while you are waiting on subs would you like to go ahead and pay?» or the guy working the grill(who wasn’t doing anything) could have offered to help with the subs. Just seemed like they lacked teamwork and didn’t care. I really hate their tipping system as well. It was incredibly abrasive. The receipt showed us how much it would be to tip 15, 18 and 20% on the meal. This isn’t a restaurant, so tipping 20% I feel should only be reserved for GREAT service. I have no problem throwing in a few dollars at a place like this(you get better service and food if you usually do!) but to have the tipping system so demanding made me turn off from it. Dining room was clean and had a fun atmosphere. TVs with the game on. Great soda and tea options as well.

This store just opened Mid-2014 as part of the expansion of the Landstown Commons Shopping Center. This was my first time trying a Jersey Mikes. I give them a 3-star: Better than a Subway, but not as good as Firehouse Subs as far as Sub Restaurants go. Also, I’d rank them above Jimmy Johns also because most of their subs are HOT, which I think makes a better sandwich. Sandwich here more like a 4-star. Price seemed a little bit on the high side. Dining area is nice at this location. Price is a tad higher than I am used to, but every once and again, I may have to drop in to try other varieties of these HOT and tasty subs. :-)
