Amigo Row appears to be CLOSED. i came to Unilocal to check business hours and it said it was open until 8pm tonight, I called to double check and just got their store answering machine — since my daughter really wanted to go(her favorite shirt came from Amigo Row and she looked forward to seeing if she could find another favorite) I went ahead and headed over. There are no signs saying closed but the store is pretty much empty except for a bunch of folding tables and chairs. I wish they would update their Unilocal listing and Facebook page!

I have only been inside Amigo Row 2⁄5 times of driving out to the downtown area specifically to shop there. Today is the third time I’ve checked the hours and hopped into my car in hopes of finding an open shop. Unfortunately, yet again, they are closed. There were, indeed, items that I had my heart set on purchasing and each time I’ve returned and found them closed I tell myself this is the last time! So, I’ve decided to make it official, write in stone(or ‘in Unilocal’), I will not be returning to this ‘gem.’ So sad. But, truly, there are many shops in town that are consistent with business hours, offer up the same ambiance and stay faithful to customers, providing a reliable place to do some serious shopping. At this rate, I may as well have taken a drive down to SLOW on Melrose in LA; they never disappoint!

Even though I no longer live in Visalia, when ever I come back into town Amigo Row is the first place I try to go to. I have purchased things like vintage maps, very interesting statues and of course the great coffee«Slow Train» which they have there. The collection of clothing and items are amazing. I would comfortably say everything in the store make you contemplate buying it. It is a great store for Downtown Visalia and I love the atmosphere in the store!

I stumbled on this place while doing some errands around town. It is a pleasant surprise in the otherwise bland downtown of Visalia. The clothes, art, housewares and jewelry are decently priced for second hand. It’s got a cute atmosphere and I read online that they have all ages shows there, which is great for the kids. My only disappointment was that I was treated if I was going to steal the entire time I was in there(I was the only person in there). I purchased a couple of shirts, and walked out happy with what I got but pretty bummed on the service. Maybe the sales lady was having a bad day, who knows? Anyways it’s worth checking out if your in that area.

A new gem in town with friendly staff and unique finds. I thought the prices were reasonable, too. Plus, I noticed they had a good range of sizes when I browsed through their clothes. Found me a lovely vintage dress!
