Horrible experience. Do not buy coconuts from here. They were super bad and old. When I told the lady that the coconut is bad, the lady argued that the coconut was fine. I grew up with lots of coconut trees in my house and definitely know what a bad coconut tastes like. The lady in the counter argued saying she was older than me and knows more about how coconut water is supposed to taste

Very expensive backyard picked fruit. Good fruit but I expected a little lower price. Went to Big Save market and it was cheaper there. My husband had a shave ice which he enjoyed.

They also serve Pad Thai!!! You can taste the fresh milkshakes and smoothies and check out the island’s fruit bounty at this small shop just by the road at Waimea.

Ok… sooo we purchased a coconut, it was cold which was great on such a hot day. Hooowever… The customer service here is horrible, an older asian lady assisted us. She seemed absolutely bothered by our questions. I asked her for an extra straw so i could share my fiances coconut and she literally rolled her eyes!!! WtH??? She was watching tv … i guess she couldnt be bothered. We tried her nerves again when we asked her if she could cut the coconut when we were done drinking its water. Oooooh man, she stared at us for a really uncomfortable few seconds, rolled her eyes again then handed it to someone who cut it for us. Wow! Wooowzers lady!!! Go anywhere else.. there are soo many sweethearts on this island, go to soneone who deserves and appreciates your business! ;)

Love it. The coconuts really are ice cold, which is the only way to drink freshly cracked coconuts! They have a wide selection of tropical fruits and goodies. Rambutan, dragon fruits, pomelos, you name it. We always stop here on out time in Kauai!

Hungry for a burger, they advertised burger and chips. The burger was tough, dry and inedible, served on a stale bun. There were no chips. Pointing this out to the servers didn’t help.

So overpriced for the street food that it is. Their pad Thai tasted bland and contained no ingredients other than noodles, shrimp and bean sprouts. It left a strange sugary flavor, that is not something I am used to with this dish. At the steep price of $ 13, I couldn’t help but feel cheated. I suggest you skip this spot and keep driving — hit up Kalaheo Café instead for some truly delicious food.

Great fruit, cranky and dismissive service. We kept passing this place on Waimea Canyon and Koke’e Park trips, and stopped in several times. The eating experience was always delightful — clear, light coconut water followed by rich scooped-out coconut; juicy cut papaya; a whole papaya that(several days later) was outstanding; and fine, if full-of-seeds and not very sweet, guava. Unfortunately, the service was just as reliable — the employees ranged from too-bored-to-talk to why-are-you-making-me-use-this-cash-register. The attached clothing selection didn’t grab me; also, there’s no bathrooms(neighboring Shrimp Station has some for their customers).

I love this little place! The sliced fruit makes it convenient for us to eat fresh fruit while driving around. We also ordered the mango-pineapple-papaya smoothie. So so so good! Specially since it has no dairy as I am lactose intolerant. You should come chck it out!

Came here to get a chilled coconut for a quick refreshment after hiking Waimea Canyon. It was exactly as I expected it. What made this establishment different was when I asked to cut open the coconut to eat the meat, the lady actually peeled the whole meat off and gave it to me. It was really easy to eat!

The moment we landed in Kauai, I was looking for places to get fresh cut fruits and coconut water. Coconut corner on Hwy 50 satisfied my cravings. They have fresh fruits for sale as well as cut fruits in the fridge. Prices start at $ 5. They have small, medium, large coconut water — $ 5/$ 7/$ 9 respectively. You can request for take out and they will pour the water in a cup and meat in a plastic bag. Pineapple, mango, papaya, sugar cane, lilikoi, coconut meat are all available. No mixed fruit cup. Smoothies are available made with fresh fruit. Love their shaved ice. Tried their mango, coconut flavor. Amazing. Card accepted for orders over $ 10. Visited them several times during my 1 week visit :-) Highly recommend here to stop by to enjoy fresh fruits/smoothies/shaved ice. There is private parking next to Shrimp Station.

Me: Hi, can I get two cold coconuts? Lady: Which size?(pointing to the small, medium, and large coconuts) Me: 2 Medium. Lady: $ 16.66. Me: $ 16?! I only wanted two. Lady: Yes, $ 16.66 for two medium coconuts. Me:(hesitantly hands over money and suspiciously scans the menu board to confirm pricing) The cold coconut washed down my sweet chili shrimp at the Shrimp Station next door perfectly, but $ 16 for 2 coconuts… that’s like eskimos overcharging for ice.

This review is a month late… but the delicious memories of my glorious piña colada still remains freshly embedded in my happy taste buds. Kauai is an island rich with natural beauty so it is only natural that we grabbed a few super fresh smoothies. The aforementioned glorious piña colada was chock full of super fresh coconut milk. The wifey grabbed some kale infused drink… she probably liked it but I can’t stand kale and do not understand the current kale trend either. This is a good stop to wet your whistle with fresh drinks. It’s across the street from the awesome Island Tacos joint. You’ll most likely be in the area coming back from your Na Pali tours so you’ll be hungry and if you rode the zodiac boats, you’ll also be thankful to be on dry land!

This is a little hut that sells fresh coconut. I mean the freshest possible. They chop off the outside and give you a straw. Once your done drinking the fresh coconut juice, you can come back for them to cut it open so you can eat the flesh. It is so refreshing. Plus they have it refrigerated so it’s cooled and not like those stands where it’s sittig in the hot sun. They have other drinks as well, we also got a thai tea which was so good. I don’t know if it was because it was hot and it tasted refreshing but it went well with our lunch that we had across the street.

The coconut was good if expensive. Did not try their food. Serious bad points for selling mangos that were inferior. We should have know it wasn’t mango season and when we asked where they were from the owner was vague. When we got them back to where we were staying we looked closer and saw that oval labels had been peeled off of the mangos. They bought them somewhere else and resold them at higher price. Two words — TOURISTTRAP. Go to a farmers’ market instead although a friend in the know who lives in Kauai and used to sell at the markets says that a few vendors get their produce from Costco. Bah! There is a guy who sells amazing Cocos near a new golf course off the highway near Kilauea.

Located opposite to the awesome Island Tacos right next to the pretty decent shrimp station, Coconut Corner is guaranteed to have a good amount of traffic. After all, who wouldn’t want a cold coconut to cool off some island heat after a full meal? The coconuts are not cheap. Even the tiniest one cost over $ 5. I had one and it was no where as good as the flavorful sweet ones I had on some Southeast Asia tropical islands. They will open up your coconut when you are done so you can scrap off the meat to eat. Do not under estimate the stomach filling power of the coconut. I got really full afterwards. It had fun but it was also rather overpriced.

I have mad love for coconut water. Ever since I traveled to the Bahamas when I was a kid and drank juice straight from the nut, I’ve been down with the stuff. And nothing beats fres coconut water from a cold, green coconut. After almost a week on Kauai and not finding any coconuts falling off of trees for me to crack, I bit the bullet and stopped a one of the ubiquitous roadside stands for some nut nectar. Coconut corner happened to be near the place we stopped for lunch so it seemed as good as any. The place was quiet and I’m guessing the price of the coconuts is why. The second size up from the smallest was $ 7.25! Now I have no idea if that standard on the island, but damn these things do grow on trees all over the islands, if I’m not mistaken, and while it’s not quite as good, I can get twice the volume in a can imported from Thailand for less than a third of the price. I do have t say, the cold, fresh, full coconut was insanely refreshing and super tasty. Not sure I’d pay tha price for a second one, though.
