I remember coming here since the Village was created. and the only thing I remember from back then was how cheap it was for their calamari fritti(mmm my mouths salivating). I recently came back and not much has changed. I ordered a pizza and the lady in the front told me the wait was going to be about 20 minutes. I decided to walk around the plaza and kill 20 minutes. when I come back they still haven’t even started on my pizza. I see the cook in the back putting the toppings I ordered onto a pizza. The girl I had spoken to earlier was complaining to her coworker about life problems and I just stood there for about 5 minutes before she sees me and goes«your pizza is almost ready». It wasn’t. I see it being made before my eyes. Anyways, onto the quality of the pizza. The pizza wasn’t that bad. a bit oily but it’s pizza afterall. What made me a bit upset about the pizza was the extremely thin crust and how it was burnt.

It is closed and out of business. I enjoyed eating here, since it was the only Italian place near Diamond Bar.

Bella Napoli(BN) is a conveniently located bistro, easily accessible to those who work or live nearby. Whenever in need to pacify the urge for«a resemblance» of Italian food, and if you’re near, this is the place to go! Although oftentimes a bit too greasy, the food eeks a sufficiently passable grade to merit an OK, or slightly better Unilocal Rating. Again, in my estimation, this is the place one runs to when time is limited, and there is a need to quell the craving for some kind of Italian food. One thing they deserve high ratings for is their wines. So far, each time I’ve ordered a glass, the fresh portion has come right out of a newly uncorked bottle. And most times, the portions have been generous. That is always appreciated. As mentioned by other reviewers, adequate staffing seems to waver much. Be it lunch or dinner, BN seems to be slightly understaffed. But, two weeks ago(the very last time I was there for lunch), the staffing was indeed adequate and efficient. Also, maybe because of the wraparound glass windows, but it does tend to get a bit warm inside, especially during lunch. Lastly, I must give high kudos to one of BN’s Key staff members. I believe her name is April. Whenever she’s there, BN runs with the precision of a Swiss watch. She is «The Whip» who keeps the place running at full bore — yet very smoothly — all the while being very attentive with all customers. Whether visiting for lunch or dinner, I’ve seen that girl take orders from behind the counter, serve drinks at the bar, and wait tables. Remarkably she does it all with a very genuine smile. Hopefully, the BN owners have taken note of the great asset they have in this employee. May she be adequately compensated for her her great effort.

Craving Pizza while visiting Home Goods. Boom Bella Napoli. minus one star for unorganized service and odd restaurant layout. + four star for stellar cheese pizza. Thin New York Style Pizza with just the right amount of sauce. Ordered Side salad– good value but nothing spectacular Do try, but do to go.

The ravioli was delish. Sure, you only get 5, but they’re stuffed with meat and the marinara sauce is full of flavor. Lunch portion also comes with 2 lumps of garlic bread. Perfectly portioned, if you ask me!

So sad to write this review, but I must be honest… I was really looking forward to trying the pizza here since I am a pizza lover and live in nearby, but it was sadly disappointing. First, the service was bad. It was a Thursday night and they only had two waiters with a full house. Because they were understaffed, we received very poor service. The waitress kept trying to rush our order right as we sat down before our waters were even at the table and at the end of our meal, it took 30 minutes to receive our check. I must say that after we ordered our food did arrive in a timely manner, but unfortunately it was very underwhelming. What we ordered: Antipasto Salad(I put together a better salad with fresher ingredients) Pizza Bianco(like eating a tub of ricotta cheese, no flavor at all BUT the crust was good) Would I go here again? No. Would I recommend this restaurant? No.

I haven’t tried much of the pizza but I’ve tried other items. Personally, they are a bit too greasy for my taste. Lasagna & Ravioli are greasy and could use improvement. Sauce is very bland and watery. Lasagna was lacking flavor and cheese. Garlic Knots are pretty good. Calzone is good but extremely greasy. We’ve also tried this chicken panini sandwich which was okay. I honestly feel like a lot of their menu items lack flavor. Maybe I just haven’t tried the right thing. On a brighter note, service is great! Until next time…

Grew up on this place and its got a nice home feeling to it. Pizza is pretty good– nothing super fancy but they make your average joe pizza pretty well. Actually I’m really writing the review on the tiramisu because I swear this thing has crack in it. Nom nom nom you will devour it the way a kid eats Halloween candy. Just try it.

I came here Friday night for take-out around 7:30PM. This was my 3rd time coming to this joint. I had learned about the place previously from my boyfriend’s family(who are Italian). The take-out process was very easy. I called and ordered the eggplant parmigiana, house-made meat lasagna, and Nikki’s bread(which is soooooooooo good, but unfortunately they were out for the evening). Since they didn’t have Nikki’s bread, I ordered the garlic knots, which are pretty yummy as well. My order was ready by the time I got there. It had only been 15 minutes since I called. The man at the front said they had run out of garlic knots to complete the order for me(I guess 5 knots come in an order), but he said they had a couple leftover so he put them in a container for me and didn’t charge me for them :) Now to the food… the eggplant parm was delicious. The eggplant was breaded, fried, and covered in a marinara sauce and served with a side of spaghetti. The lasagna was ok. The cheese on the lasagna started to get rubbery as we were eating it.(This is pretty much the only reason why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5.) Finally, the garlic knots. What can I say, they were warm, garlicky, and had such a nice texture. Great to dip in to the remaining red sauce after you’re all done. The portions are pretty big. If you’re not that hungry, you can split one entrée in between 2 people. All in all, I think my experience was a good one. Food was good, my stomach and taste buds were satisfied, and the service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back! Hopefully they will have Nikki’s bread next time!

I ordered the garlic knots to-go and it was pretty tasty and just enough garlic. They were toasted for me and the side of marinara sauce was super hot and a bit salty(it sort of melted the plastic cup). I haven’t tried anything else, but I’ll probably order the garlic knots every time. Now if only they stuck a wad of gooey, stringy cheese in the middle and added more garlic I’d be buying garlic knots like there’s no tomorrow.

In my 5-year career as a student at Cal Poly, I’ve only had lunch here twice: once as a freshman and once last week. In my recent visit, I remembered why I never went back. Their pizzas lack flavor and reminded me of the pizzas they serve in school cafeteria lunches. The pasta wasn’t that great either — I prefer Sbarro’s pasta, which isn’t saying much. However, their garlic bread is absolutely delicious(+ one star)! I’d go back again just for their garlic bread which is big enough to be a meal itself. Other than some of the foods lacking flavor and whatnot, my only complaint is that we visited during lunch hour and there were only three people working the entire place: one taking orders, one ringing up the register, and one making the food in the open kitchen. Considering it’s lunch hour and the line was almost out the door, I think it would’ve been more efficient to have at least one person help out in the front by taking orders; that would’ve sped the line up much more quickly. In short, I’d only come back for the garlic bread and definitely not during lunch hours.

What a pleasant surprise… Not too many Italian joints in this area so it was really nice to see one across the street from 24hr fitness. Food: Forgot my exact order but one was a pasta with marinara and the other was a chicken breast thing. Both were really good. Portion was a bit small considering everything in this country should be over sized. Service: Attentive and friendly. We didn’t need a recommendation but I’m sure she would have made a good one! Environment: Calm, nicely decorated, centralized location. Nice everyday joint. Price: Not too bad Will be back! Food: 4 Service: 5 Environment: 5 Price: 4

Stopped by here one night to have some pizza and it was delicious. Thin crust pizza with shrimp, onion, lemon juice and my fav. avocado!(less grease will be perfect) I enjoyed the stuffed mushroom-so flavorful and the pasta(I forgot the name) but it was yummy! I’ll come back here again

When I used to order take out here in high school, I never noticed the tables in this petite and simply decorated restaurant. The lighting level was odd, a little too bright to elude an intimate and romantic setting, but too dark for casual/normal dining. I did enjoy the music selection here… jazz vocals to Colbie Caillat. :) I had a very pleasant first experience dining in at Bella’s. It was a pretty slow night, so we walked into a young waitress attending to all the tables. She acknowledged us right away, and apologized as she filled another party’s requests, and then came straight to us. After we ordered, I presented my gift certificate, and she accepted it so politely. Our side of garlic rolls(5 for $ 3) came first and almost right away. The rolls have a subtle garlic taste that gets accentuated if you add butter to it. Our waitress also offered us marinara sauce, which we gladly accepted. I preferred the roll with the butter. Then our food came. Chris K. ordered the lasagna and a meat-filled calzone(pepperoni, sausage, ham), and I had the linguini with clams. I LOVED my dish. The pasta was slightly spicy… maybe because i added a bit of peppers. and the flavor was rich. The clams tasted fresh and savory, and i suspect there’s even more crushed up clam bits sprinkled with garlic and cilantro on the linguini. The lasagna was really good as well. not something mind-blowing, but solid taste. And the calzone was ginormous! it was cut in half for us, and each piece was still bigger than the size of a regular pizza. The calzone tasted so good… even when it got warm because we let it sit. I added some marinara sauce into my calzone pocket, turning it into a deep dish pizza! Our waitress checked up on us a few times during the meal. She may look young, but she’s got her customer service skills down! keeping all the dine-in guests happy seemed to be a piece of cake for her :) Now that I’ve been lured back to a familiar spot from my high school days, I’ll be returning more frequently, most likely on Sundays. I’m itching to check out their Sangria Sundays!

Came here for lunch today and got the lunch special. You can either get 2 slices of pizza and a drink or a slice of pizza, salad, and a drink for 7.99. Pros: — the pizza slices are pretty big and will leave your tummy satisfied. — the specialty pizzas they have are delicious. I had a mediterranean and spinach and cheese, which were absolutely fantastic. — the staff is friendly and easy going. — the restaurant is very clean. Cons: — the side salad was a bit overpriced. It was 2 dollars for a side salad which was kind of small and nothing special really. Go try this place if you’re in the area, probably some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while.

Sometimes, Domino’s and Pizza Hut just doesn’t cut it. I like that there is an Italian place amidst the fast food chains and the Asian establishments. Service is prompt and friendly, which I always appreciate. They sell by-the-slice, at 3.95 per slice I believe. They do have daily specials, which sit out in the front on display. I kind of wonder how long they sit out for… My favorites are the spinach and mushroom, and the meat lover’s. Of course parking is a hazard. you’re parking right next to all the other people going to Robeks, Starbucks, Rubio’s, Ten Ren, etc.

It is so nice having a community pizza place down the street from my house. I love these types of places much better than the fast food delivery pizza. I just wish that the dining area was a bit more elegant and they had extended hours. The prices are not too cheap considering this is more of a casual or take out dining restaurant, but if you want cheap… go to Domino’s. I love the Italian menu items like the spaghetti or parmigiana. It’s pretty cool that you can order a whole pizza or a slice depending on your needs. The sandwiches are pretty yummy too. This is a nice place to go in a cute little community.

Came here for dinner last night. Pretty decent size menu with lots of pasta, pizza, appetizers to choose from. I ended up with the baked ziti with alfredo sauce plus chicken. This was ok, but tasted a little too heavy towards the end. I was only able to polish off half the plate. Our group also shared the Shrimp fantasia pizza. It has Shrimp, avocado, red onion, olive oil and a zesty lime sauce. It probably would of tasted better warmer or hot. We ate it last so it got cold and wasn’t as tasty as it looked. No complaints, staff was nice and friendly. They do have a bar with 4 beers on tap. Blue moon, Stella Artois was the only 2 i remember. Prices are around 10 – 15 an entrée.
