LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their fried chicken and potatoes. Everything is freshly made so it can take a while for the food to be ready. Give yourself about an hour to pick it up.

Been here a few times, ordered the pizza, chicken, mojo special a few times(huge portions) and just pizza on its own. Always satisfied. The guy that works there is nice and always friendly. The place is very small, basically just a counter. Decent pizza place.

Pizzas naturally come with a lot of cheese here, so much so that when you bite into it, the strings of cheese connect from the pizza to your mouth, like the pizza they eat in Daria. They include so, so, so many toppings on each pizza(as in, if you order mushrooms, best believe the entire pizza is going to have mushrooms on it and very bite will have mushrooms!) It’s amazing. The jalapeño garlic cheese bread is to die for! And the paradise potatoes come with so much! The jalapeños tend to be on the hotter side in comparison to an average Pizza Hut or Dominoes type pizza place for some reason, so if you like jalapeños but don’t want or can’t stand them very spicy, make sure you ask for light jalapeños.(: love this place!

Heard good things but hours not listed in Unilocal,Google, website, or their door. Drove here for no reason. Will average scores whenever we are able to get a pizza.

Review broken into 2 parts 1 star for hours, operations, service. It’s run by a college age kid who balances the pizza shop with his studies. Our office is 2 blocks away and I say we have a 20% success rate ordering food from them. Phone either goes to vmail, or inventory is out of stock. Really need a p/t helper. 5 star for the food. Only reason why we bother with possibly the worst run pizza joint in LA. The chicken is moist and organic and the pizza is also really really good. Cheese bread is also a total bargain at $ 5.

So this update ONLY is related to the service provided by this place. Its unfortunate that I am giving this place 3 stars but I have tried to order pizza from this establishment 5 different times in the last month and was only able to reach them once. The one time I was able to speak to, assuming the owner, he said that it would be a long wait because of Monday night football and the MLB playoffs. Ok, if you know its MNFAND the MLB playoffs, you’d think you’d have some extra help right? Please implement a 2 ring policy or something to make sure your reaching out to your customers.

The guy must bipolar. They never answer the phone and sometimes answers and hangs up. Seems like they don’t need or want my business. When I finally got to order a small pizza, I tried to add wings when I got there and he said he didn’t have time.

Called 3 times at 7:30 on a Friday night — nobody answered. Just a received a generic«Hello, nobody is available to take your call, please leave a message» recording.

So went to this place on Friday and guy said he was all by himself and order would be about an hour. We left. I thought ok so here I am again on a Wednesday and have been trying to call for over an hour with no answer. I show up and it’s open, guy says he’s all by himself and too busy to pick up the phone and it’s going to be an hour for my order if I want to order. So I waited. It was worth it great pizza chicken was on point. Nokia were a little thick but still good

Walked into this place to place an order and the owner tells me that they can’t take my order for another hour. I asked if they were closed and he said no we’re open but have 5 orders ahead of you and I won’t start making your order until 6:30 pm(1 hr later). To top it all off this guy had an attitude.

Good news: Better than major pizza chains such as Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc. Bad news: That’s not saying much. Pizza was pretty good but I’ve had much better at other pizzerias. I’d give it a 3.5 and I’ve bumped it up to 4 because I like to support smaller restaurants!

Pretty good! I was surprised that it wasn’t very greasy! I got the«hat trix», which had olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and their house made pizza sauce. I think ingredients are definitely fresh! Especially their mushrooms, they are big and sliced thin… thank god they dont use that canned rubber yucky-ness lol like other places. I do agree that the pizza crust was a little bit«bread-y» like the other Unilocalers, but just the right amount tho! Their sausage was perfectly salted and sweet in a way, it was super big portions too! So I talked to the owner, he said that they used to do fundraisers for walnut highs schools football team, they team would sell a slice of pizza for $ 1. Then I realized I have had this place like 5 years ago forsure! So from my knowledge this place has been here for at least 10 years give or take?

First things first — this review is about Paradise’s chicken wings/legs — not the pizza.(and there’s no fault w/the pizza :) Fair is fair — we only come here for the wings, which we feel are the absolute *best* around!(other comments seen about ‘salty’ we don’t agree, but that’s personal taste:). We live for the times they are open and have availability(see below), ’cause the wings, hot sauce and BBQ sauce are TDF! My wife’s/kids’ favorites are the BBQ wings with their great hot sauce on the side, and I’m a BBQ leg man. ^_^ Some clarification about other comments: — No, there is no seating — take-out/catering orders only. — About ‘weird hours’, etc. Romero(owner-nice guy) has explained to me he does the lunch pizzas for the local school district, so they work ridiculously hard and often ‘weird hours’. Hence, they’re not typical 5 – 11 dinner hours or whatever. — Just call them — if they’re there prepping tomorrow’s school orders, order for yourself! — Also realize for big events(SuperBowl, etc), they will book up WAAY ahead of time, so no complaining if that happens, ok Unilocalers? You read my tips about what their primary biz is, right? :) Very much a mom/pop shop, which I LOVE supporting, so remember folks if you like a place — EATTHERE — Support local, unique businesses! That is, unless you ONLY want a choice of a dozen chain restaurants in the future? :P)

Just came here to grab a mushroom and pepperoni pizza. Always feels good supporting a mom and pop and will definitely be coming back now that we know it’s here. Pizza was nice and hot, cheesy and dough was good. Maybe would like a little more sauce next time but still good!

So I got to try this pizza place last weekend. First off, when he ordered, I guess we didn’t realize that the Paradise potato pieces were going to be so big, and they were going to come in a huge box. I think I only ate around 8 of them. They were packed to the max in a box that’s similar to the In-N-Out boxes(if you’ve ever ordered 4 or 5 burgers from there you know what I’m talking about). He also ordered the Hat Trix pizza, and that was good as well. Though I’m not really certain if I like my pizza with that many toppings. It seems a little excessive to me. I’m not the biggest fan of olives, but I will eat them when I have no choice. I guess that means that I don’t really mind them. By the way, I didn’t actually go to the store to pick up the food, because laziness, and not wanting to put on a bra(tmi?), prevented me from actually stepping foot out of the house, but still, the food was good, if not a little bit too much for two people to finish in one sitting. But hey, that’s what leftovers are for!

I come here when my SO wants pizza and we don’t want to drive too far from Diamond Bar. The crust, cheese, and pepperoni are typically in tasty ratios that we enjoy. So far we’ve ordered pepperoni, pepperoni and pineapple, and hat trix. Hat trix toppings tasted fresh and the quantity of topping wasn’t so much that it fell off, so it was well-balanced. I feel like I get my money’s worth. This is a small operation, though –no eat in option, no delivery, just take out. And with its scale of operation, one of its less endearing qualities is that it can be hard to get a hold of someone to take an order. This place could benefit from online/mobile ordering but it is what it is and until better pizza joints in Diamond Bar come along, this will probably be our number one option for local pizza take out. :)

3.5 stars The pizza was definitely good, but nothing mind blowing. I do love the fact, however that they piled on the mushrooms. I love mushrooms and these sliced mushrooms were huge. That made me very happy. The hot wings on the other hand were ridiculously salty. I took a couple bites, even tried wiping the sauce off, but the salt load was still too much and I had to throw them away. The location is interesting. I actually missed it at first because it is in a random business row of buildings, next to an insurance company and an acupuncturist. There are so many pizza joints around, I doubt I’ll return. Unless I am craving a mushroom pizza– then Paradise pizza is the first one I’m calling. *Yelp 100 Challenge: Review 94/100*
