I called the other day and the guy on the phone didn’t even know the prices of there pizzas really… Wow! Shouldn’t you know since you work there smh he also needs skills on better customer service. He told me to look online wtf is that service! I should be able to call any company and get simple questions answered. I didn’t get his name but he did sound Gangsta. Get you people trained on customer service. Remember they represent you!

Waited too long for delivery, close to an hour… poor customer service. They didn’t even bother calling or saying sorry. But anyhow, this is the last time ordering from this store.

First time trying Papa Johns pizza near my new home in West Covina. Unfortunately, the experience was horribly far from par by anyone’s taste! The pizza was really over cooked and that it was burnt and dried out! The dough tasted like straight clay! Ugh! Nasty! Very disappointing experience by far. This spot is not some place I would recommend to anyone.

«Better ingredients, Better pizza, Papa Johns«My ass! What the hell happened to Papa John’s? It actually was good pizza at one time. Today when I went in. I got the trio. The trio is 3 med pizzas with 3 toppings each for $ 21. I had one order of the trio and 2 orders of wings.(Bbq/Buffalo) When I got home I noticed the pizza looked very basic. Nothing like what i remembered. I took a bite of one of the pizzas and noticed right away it was cold and had no flavor what so ever. All 3 pizza’s were the same. Freaken pathetic! The only good thing were the wings! So 1 star for the wings. I’ll never ever ever be back!

Ordered at 7:30pm and got my pizza at 8:38! Ridiculous wait time! Edit: Guys who work in this location were nice and courteous. Was told by their corporate office they had computer problems for 2 days. Would have been great to get a heads up of realistic time when order would be ready.

This is usually my go to Pizza place. Sometimes the service is so-so, due to a lot of young(high school) people working there but for the most part the service is okay. So disappointed that they are now under new management and no longer deliver to my area… they just lost a customer. Sorry Papa Johns… Looks like I’m looking for a new place…

I called for a pick-up order tonight and the person who answered the phone was friendly and generous enough to give me a large 2 topping pizza for only $ 8.99 as part of their«Early Week Mania» deal. He said it would only take 20 minutes to be ready. I arrived 20 minutes after our phone call, and sure enough, my pizza was ready. The place seemed cleaned and the workers were very friendly. I also read the reviews before ordering and decided to give them a try since it’s the closest papa johns to me. I would recommend calling them if you want to pick-up your pizza instead of ordering online.

I absolutely hate this pizzeria. I would NEVER again eat at this place even if they paid for the pizza, and bribed me to eat it. I thought I had eaten something before the first time I tried it, but after I gave it one last shot. NOPE. This place gave me food poisoning TWICE!!! You should be shut down by the health department!

Papa John’s Pizza is normally my go-to place for ordering pizza; carry out and delivery. Normally they do a good job delivering the pizza on time, but today I was super disappointed! I received the confirmation email at 1:18pm and received my pizza at 2:18pm. On the email it states that it will take 30 – 40 min for delivery. At 2:03pm I called the store asking if my delivery man left. I spoke to John and he stated that he should be arriving at my house soon. I did not receive the delivery mans name. When my friend and I started grabbing slices I noticed the pizza was kinda cold. What the fuck.

ALL the guys that work here are very friendly, there is a filipino guy that will voluntarily hook me up with some extra yellow peppers once in a while.(only when you pick up) Because he agreed that $ 1.50 for 4 pieces is a rip off. Pizza is tasty! LOVETHEIRGARLIC sauce!!! Cheese bread is Delicious ONLY when it’s still fresh outta the oven, when it gets cool, the cheese hardens and it is not as tasty! VERY good deals on pizza, when you sign up for their e-mails! and their online ordering system by far beats their competitors!

This review is not so much for the pizza, but for the service I received on 07÷10÷13 A few weeks ago, I placed an order for delivery to enjoy game 7 of the nba finals from the comfort of home. Upon doing so, I learned that I would be receiving«papa reward points» which I could redeem for a free large pizza with up to three toppings, at a later date. Fast forward to today, I found myself once again craving a good slice of pie. Or rather a decent slice at any rate, as chains go. I signed into the site to place my order, only to learn that the offer had expired. Apparently I had a fairly limited time frame in which to redeem the points. I gave the location I placed my prior order from a call, and spoke directly with Louis, the head manager. He said that unfortunately he couldn’t solve the issue immediately on his end given it pertained to details which were found online, however he provided a phone number I could call which would help me reach someone who could authorize the points, with his approval. I thanked him and gave them a call, only to be told that they too could not assist me on their end. They offered to have«someone else» call me back within three days, which didn’t help considering my hope was to snag the offer tonight, while the craving was present. Apart from that, more often than not promises of such call backs are rarely if ever fulfilled, hence I took little to no stock in being told someone would get back to me. It’s not a terribly important issue worthy of a slew of hoop jumping. Disappointed yet grateful for the managers attempt to assist me, I gave him a quick call back to if nothing else, thank him for his attempt and assistance. To my surprise, he was appreciative that I was courteous, as opposed to yelling or making demands… as is apparently common. As a result he offered to fulfill my promo order and asked when I would like to pick it up. Throughout both conversations, Louis was nothing less than a professional, and a shining example of what a manager should be. He conducted himself in a fashion that is to be commended. Chain pizza never compares to beloved hole in the wall dives, but service is seldom better. *UPDATE — Several hours later, I received the following email from Papa Johns Corporate office: Dear Valued Customer, Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. Unfortunately the SUMMER promotion in which you had earned 25BONUS points ended 7÷7÷13. If you did not use the bonus points by this date they were removed from the account per the official rules of the promotion. If you have elected to receive promotional email from us you will get the reminder emails for the offer containing the expiration dates. This information is also listed under the FAQ’s on our website. Please keep in mind, points earned through spending money online will never expire from your account, however BONUS points will always have expiration dates. Feel free to contact us at the number below if you need any further assistance ordering online and one of our team members will be happy to help. Thanks again and have a great day! Operations Call Center Papa John’s International 1−877−547−7272 **************************************************************************************************** In short, their corporate office clearly doesn’t give a shit. Fortunately for them, not all their managers are unaware of the concept of sound business sense and the importance of customer service. I hope Louis goes far. As for Papa Johns themselves, I’ll continue supporting independent pizzerias more often than not.

Papa John’s in the hood of USC(24th St. & Hoover) taste a whole better. Suburbanites need to have their taste buds examine according to their reviews of this location. They need to man up on their«better ingredients.»

I think this problem is with Papa John over all — its thin crust is too buttery. Everything else was fine.

I called on a Saturday night to order 5 last minute pizzas for my baby shower. Working in the food industry, I know how it feels like to deal with rude/horrible customers. That night, I think I might have labeled myself one if I was talking to me on the other line. :x The lady taking my order took the time to tell me the deals and what not. I ended up ordering 5 extra large pizzas. I forgot what the toppings were on each, but honestly I would have made my life hell if I was taking the order. I was being impatient and not really listening. But she still took the time to verify what my order was. Being 5 extra large pizzas, I assumed the quote time would be around 45 — 1 hour. Boy was I wrong. The pizzas came within half an hour, and the delivery man was SO polite bringing out the order to me. Service was excellent. The food was great. What more can you ask for. Later found out that the wonderful lady’s name is Charlotte, and the delivery man was Kris.
