Tempo Dry Cleaners & Laundry

I brought in a bunch of clothes for dry cleaning. I was given one price. When I returned to pick them up, an old lady was there. I saw they tripled the price on a piece of clothing because they said it was «special». It has snap buttons…
I told her she should have told me about the price increase upfront. *blank stare*. I told her she’s going to lose my future business for this. *blank stare*. Then I said I’m not coming back and now I’m slamming them on Unilocal.Good job tempo!

I think that I have just found my go-​to cleaner. Through the years, I have used a number of local dry cleaning operations and found their service to be satisfactory at best. I never gave it too much thought because after all it was just dry cleaning. Based on the positive Unilocal reviews, I decided to give Tempo Cleaners a shot and I could not have been more pleased with the experience so far. When I went to pick up my clothes, I was able to meet the owner Tom, who was kind enough to help me load the clothes into my car. He explained to me that technically his store is not a dry cleaning business but something better. Their method is a «green» alternative to dry cleaning, that ends up being safer for the environment and the clothes. This might also be better for your health. Makes a lot of sense to me. My clothes do feel and smell nice, and thus far the service has been top-​notch quality. They certainly have earned my business.

We’ve brought trench coats, wool coats, jackets, and suits here for years and have had no issues. Our clothes had a nice clean scent and would look great and brand new. I thought the prices were fair considering they are a green dry cleaner.
I brought a couple of brand new dresses and coats here on my last trip. I looked over my items upon pick up and they looked fine in the plastic bags. It wasn’t until a week later when I was pulling out this all lace dress to wear for a wedding that I got a take a good look at it. The fibers in the lace were sticking out everywhere and there was a ½″ hole in the front. I needed this dress so I quickly trimmed off all the little fibers and stitched up the hole. This took me about a good 45 minutes to do right before a wedding, so I was a little frazzled.
I would have taken my chances in my own HE washing machine on delicate cycle if I knew this dry cleaner was going to ravage it. I guess it is just too delicate for them to handle, but isn’t that the point of a dry cleaner? Also, a few of my wool coats still had dog fur embedded in them although they smelled clean as usual.
The owner is friendly but I need my clothes cleaned correctly. I spent $ 70+ ($ 9 on this dress alone) on this trip and it’ll be my last.

This review has been way over due. Tommy is the owner and his super friendly. In addition, he is very passionate of his business and cares about his customers. I always support neighborhood business, especially when there environmental friendly. How can you not support a business who’s trying to save the plant. In the past, I have taken my dress shirts to be dry clean and wash without starch but always end up with a rash on my neck. I tried 5 different cleaners but the end result is the same. Tommy was gracious enough to explain the difference of his method of washing clothes versus other cleaners using chemical. I thought to myself it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. The first thing I notice there is no chemical smell and the best thing is that I didn’t get a rash on my neck. I can’t believe the problem has been solved. I want to personally thank Tommy for introducing me to a new of washing my clothes. I’m a customer for LIFE. If you care about our plant then support him.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Tommy is always so nice and prices are pretty good. I never go anywhere else to do my dry cleaning even though I moved further away. Thanks for all the years of great work!

Thanks to Unilocal I found this place and it’s located in Walnut. You will notice that there are no chemical smell when you walk into this cleaners. Tom is a very nice man and knows his business well. I am satisfied with my clothing whenever I have gotten them cleaned here and I know I am not harming my body by wearing chemicals that have been placed there by my dry cleaners. GO GREEN!!!

I dry cleaned my chiffon dress and it came out great! I’m always a little worried when I go to a different dry cleaner. The staff is friendly, he also explained how they don’t use chemicals to clean their clothes, total plus!!! I will def be back.

Friendly, thorough and effective service. I highly recommend using Tempo for your «Dry» cleaning needs. Apparently not Dry cleaning but a enviro friendly wet cleaning process that is the same effect.
It’s a bit of a discovery since they don’t seem to advertise and it’s very hard to tell for their signage or store front that they are a garment cleaning service. They definitely deserve the business so I will gladly give them my future dry cleaning business.

I’ve been using this company since I moved here 10 years ago. Tom and staff are very friendly and do exceptional work. I trusted them with a family heirloom quilt and picked it up yesterday. It is 65 years old, torn, stained, and had never been cleaned. He gave attention to detail and sewed the minor tear at no charge. It came out shades brighter! Thanks, Linda
