Fun fun super down to earth retro place! Karioke, affordable beverages, a great mix of people. Must go back!

If you were to picture the stereotypical dive bar in your head, this would be it. It’s very quaint and can get pretty packed on random weekdays. But it’s one of the few places which you can snag a beer for under three bucks. They have some Tvs to watch some games. One tip I want to give us that they only accept cash, so Don’t go here with a card or you might get glared at.

Ok so I need to preface this review by saying that I was home for Christmas for 10 days and was bored out of my mind. My only social interaction was with my mom or a cat so by the time my friends suggested«going out» around town I would have been ok drinking in a Kmart parking lot. Patriot Tavern is better than a parking lot. It’s actually everything I could have wanted in a local bar. Friendly people, cheap drinks, and interesting characters singing karaōke. I even overheard people talking about some guy who had just gotten out of jail that day! See you next holiday season, Patriot Tavern.

After driving by this place for close to 9 years, we finally stopped in for a drink(after dinner at the Raven’s Nest in Walpole Center). Small, cozy & friendly. Seats for 10 at the bar, maybe another 15 at small tables, and a bit or SRO space at the bar. Fun karaōke, with the bartender doing more than his share of the singing. Two pints of PBR draft and two pints of Sam Summer draft for $ 10.50 total. TOTAL!!! We’re sold and we’ll be back!
