Very nice people here. Just ordered a medium sandwich and accidentally spilled half of it on the floor. The manager noticed this and immediately offered me another one. Appreciate it.

I needed to get out of the office today and this restaurant is one of the closest places near my work. I only get 30 mins for lunch. This restaurant is no frills. It doesn’t even have seats. You have to stand up to eat. I don’t recommend it for families or the elderly. There is plenty of parking though, although during lunch it can be hectic because Dunkin Donuts is in the same plaza. I got a Greek salad with chicken. I was not impressed. There was hardly any chicken and it had no seasoning or flavor. They were skimpy on the feta and salad dressing. The best part of the meal was the fresh pita bread. I guess maybe since they are known for their subs, I should stick to a sub the next time I go there. I have had their lobster roll in the past there which was very good. They do deliver and have a pick up service for your food.

I have to agree with the majority of the other posters, this place is meh at best. I wanted to love it so much since I love grilled sandwiches, but was treated borderline and my sandwich was unacceptable. Being from Minnesota this was my first experience at a D’Angelo. I saw this nice picture of a lobster sandwich stacked full of lobster. I ordered it. $ 16 for a medium! Ok, I get it lobster is expensive. Their toaster was out being they couldn’t toast the bun and when I got the sandwich it had about a third of the lobster as on the picture. Totally ridiculous for $ 16. A lot of the other sandwiches look good and I’m sure they are. What a disappointment. As others have mentioned no sitting. Only standing area, which was completely dirty.

Usually had no issues with this place, would simply order online and then pick up store. Ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad with Steak, except they forgot the Chicken and still charged for the extra Meat.

Welcome to D’Angelos, the restaurant without seats. That’s right — no seats. I’ve never seen anything like it. Strange standing tables are available but nothing else. I understand that this particular location is located in Corporate Hell and that their patrons probably need to NOT sit on their lunch break, but still. Luckily when I went here with a lunch date we had a pimped out conversion van parked outside where we were able to dine instead. Otherwise, this is a standard D’Angelos. During the lunch rush service is slow, even if you order ahead. I have walked out sans requested condiments, or two knives instead of a fork and a knife — I’ve just gotten in the habit of double-checking those things before I leave. Once I had a lettuce bowl that was especially skimpy on ingredients, but as always, it was delicious. I keep coming back simply because it’s better than the cafeteria in my office building.

The online ordering system works well. It’s probably the only way to get this shop to take your order properly. When I last visited, Dianne(Manager) answered the phone while I was at the register and spoke with a potential candidate to hire for about 2 minutes. By the time she was done with the conversation, there were at least 5 other customers in line. From the one side of that conversation, I can tell you: — Dianne is looking for someone on the 11 – 8 shift — No experience is necessary — Discussing salary over the phone is inappropriate — She will be there until 6 today and«4−5» tomorrow During this time, another employee unpacked a shipment of bottled drinks. That was clearly more important than taking customer orders. The lady at the grill was working hard and get the order right. The food was okay. It’s a large chain in the Northeast, so expect subs with McDonald’s quality meat and ingredients. Honestly, Subway has better bread and ingredients for the price. Note: The eating area is standing room only(cocktail-height large tables).

I don’t know about the rest but the Thanksgiving sandwich is great. Has a nice lite gravy for dipping the sandwich in like a French dip. Yum. Friendly staff

Place is ok, the only thing I get from here is a cheese steak. Got a sandwich one time and it wasn’t anything special.

The most pathetic Italian sub I’ve ever eaten! I’ll never eat at a D’angelo again…

The clientele at lunchtime on weekdays consists of people who work nearby and are looking for a quick sandwich to grab and go. Unfortunately, that seems to never happen. On two separate occasions, I’ve walked in at 12:15pm and been greeted by someone leaving who quips«you got 45 mins?» Standard D’Angelo food, I recommend the Steak and Cheese. The wait makes it very tough for me to continue to patronize this specific location, though.

I usually pick up something to eat here at least once a week. I found it hard to believe the reviews thus far have been poor. The food was great and the chicken caesar wrap and the barbecue chicken wrap were both excellent. The wraps are very large and filling… Around noon they get hit pretty hard with the lunch rush, so during peak hours expect to wait about 15 minutes for your order. You can order online to avoid the waits. I recommend this place. I’ve always been satisfied going here.

The last time I came here, the staff consisted of the pregnant drop out of my junior year, two dudes from remedial and a girl who everyone believe to be the head of the Latin King womens sector(Good Olé Waltham High) Most Importantly, the food at this location sucks… HHHMMMMMMM…wonder why? UPDATE: I came back with my friend and was starving. I got a veggie pocket(made by someone who is a non WALTHAMITE)…it was good. So, I foresee Waltham being the problem… not D’Angelos. It still is kinda sucky

I don’t expect much from these sandwich shops — all I go for is that really quick meal. and even that’s like once a year at most. This particular location is comical. I walked in last week around 2pm to find another patron standing at the counter. He wasn’t helped. and the 3 people who were«working» were not attending to him. I stood there for a few minutes. as did he. and we both were still being ignored. As in, not even looked at. We were the only two customers and the employees were not building sandwiches or anything. Next time I’m desperate for lunch and find myself here, I’ll just take some napkins and eat those.
