As a mexican I always like to try mexican restaurants, me and my husband went to La fogata, he tried a burrito and he said he liked it, he didnt expected it would be that good, I tried al pastor tacos because I miss my pastor tacos, they were so good, they even had pinaple as they should, they didnt have avocado sauce, no restaurant(the ones I have tried in USA) has it, too bad cause real mexican tacos always have avocado sauce ToT… anyway I give the place 4 stars because of the tortillas, they taste like pre made tortillas and i dont blame them, theres no tortilladoras in USA, also I didnt like the nachos, it was american cheese instead of yellow or swiss cheese, nachos should have beans this ones didnt, even worst, they serve the cheesse separately like a dip, I will g back to la fogata but I wont have nachos.

Dined here tonight. I had the tortilla soup: it was brothy not thick like I’m use to. The flavor was ok. I had beef tacos: very greasy! Flavor was ok. Server was nice. The water was good!

Excellent food! My boyfriend loves authentic Mexican food and this is one of his favorite places! Great customer service and perfectly clean. All their meat is cooked on a wood fire grill for really good flavor. I am pretty picky and even I loved it! Very reasonably priced. We will be back!

We stopped in tonight to get a quick bite. I’ll be the first to admit I’m no Mexican cuisine connoisseur, but I thought the food was amazing. $ 27 for two adults to get more food than we could eat in the sitting was impressive. I had the chicken flautas in red sauce and I highly recommend them, and I really enjoyed the rice as well. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, The atmosphere is fun, and there’s music playing at a reasonable volume. Our server was very attentive and checked on us no less than 6 times during our meal. The bottom line: If you want to relax and eat some good food with great flavor, come here. If you’re expecting the food to be 100% authentic in Warminster, Pa, perhaps you should consider relocating to Mexico.

ALERT: I NEVERPOSTREVIEWS. That’s right, I never post reviews. But I had to on this place. The food has to all be store bought from the next-door Giant. Based on other people’s comments and my own experience with my wife(we just had nachos) –it was bad. We received packaged nacho yellow queso dip from Giant that was barely even warm. We were surprised at how bland it was so we asked for blanco queso, it was even worse! It was bland product from your local grocery store that’s up charged 300%. Don’t come here!!!

Wonderful Mexican Restaurant. Great food. Great service. The Fajitas are fantastic. As is the rest of the food. Reasonably priced. Go at least once a week for lunch or dinner.

I’m sorry to say but my best friend and I were not impressed with this place at all. It’s a Sunday evening, and the place is empty. That should have been clue number one. Clue number two should have been the fact that we couldn’t really smell the food like you can at other Mexican restaurants even though the food is laid out built to order style right in front of our eyes. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt. The salsa was so bland and clearly not freshly made It actually tasted like pizza or pasta sauce with some cilantro in it. We shared fries and jalapeño poppers which were again clearly not freshly made. Same with the burrito bowls which reminded me of something from Goya or a comparable brand. In other words, something we could have made ourselves at home and save 20 almost 30 bucks. We only finished are meal because we were that hungry Also, the waitress was extremely inattentive. She never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. But she was quick to drop the bill off. A few minutes later she informs us in acondescending way that we can pay up front. I know she was just trying to free up the table asap but i have no idea why as the restaurant was EMPTY! Go to Las Margaritas or Rez Azteca or even a chain restaurant if you want Mexican food you can actually smell and taste

Decided to come in with my best friend. And I must say it was not that good unfortunately. Food was very bland and the salsa they serve tasted like bland pizza sauce with cilantro added. Service wasn’t that attentive and honestly i can make this food at home with more flavor and spice. Once was enough for me sad to say but it’s true. Any true Mexican would be highly disappointed

When you walk in, you probably think you’ve walked into a liquor store.(That’s just how the place is set up.) I’ve been here twice and have enjoyed the food both tines. Service is quick and friendly. I really liked the guacamole but it’s expensive(they dont offer it on the side, just as an appetizer with chips). Everything else is priced pretty fairly. The carne asada is really good and make sure you try their tamales. The pork ones are really good. They make Mexican tamales and Guatemalan tamales so try both!

I was here a few times previously just to pick up a quick drink. I ended up getting a chicken taco very plain just chicken and cheese. They were so welcoming and pleasant! I was there when they first opened and although they admitted they weren’t on their A game yet I felt like they were. I’ll come back and visit for sure.

We went to this place for lunch. Ordered one chicken and one beef tacos, beef soup and seafood soup. Had to wait for the food at least 20 min although place was not busy at all. Tacos that we got were far from we know what Tacos is — small flat tortilla with few pieces of meat, cilantro and onions. No cheese, no guacamole, no beans, no lettuce, no rice, no sour cream, nothing!!! I don’t know what it was but it was not Taco. The beef soup was completely lacking of flavor, seafood soup was a bit better, but lots of crab shell pieces floating in it. Soups were served with tea spoon, but we did not have time to ask for regular soup spoon which it supposed to be served. Overall just wasted our lunch time and money on this place. Never coming back! They opened recently so I doubt they will last for long with service and food quality like that.

Food definitely has potential. Service went from great to non existent at a shift change. Always a good idea to clear plates before serving dessert. Ugh

So far I have just had the hard tacos, steak is my favorite so far. And the chips and salsa is really good. My favorite salsa with fresh cilantro! Yum!!! This is me 2nd visit and I will be coming back again

Wow. That was truly horrible. Easily the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Got the Carnitas, it was nasty, dry and flavorless. Hard taco shells were stale, the queso was literally liquefied white cheese, served at a Lukewarm, yogurt like consistency. The salsa/pico de gallo was solid, the only decent thing about the meal. There was more cilantro on my tacos than meat. This restaurant’s only redeeming quality is the coke freestyle machine in the back. There’s a Chipotle not 5 minutes down the road. This place isn’t going to last long.

Came here cause we wanted to try out the ‘new’ place and we had a coupon that came in the mail. Probably wouldn’t come back. Service was definitely fast but food didn’t taste as fresh as I thought it would for a restaurant. I got the carnitas burrito and it was mostly rice and beans. My husband got the enchilada with the green sauce it was subpar. Servings were on the smaller size. Ordered a peanut butter truffle for dessert but they totally messed it up by putting a red strawberry sauce on it. Probably will just stick to Las Margaritas down the road for Mexican food… and giant margaritas.

Third time I’ve stopped in for takeout and once again, it was excellent. My son loves the chicken flautas. My older son goes for the burrito bowls, my husband always gets the steak tacos and I have been trying something different every time… burrito, taco, quesadillas… and the toppings and chips are always fresh and yummy.

I couldn’t find a menu anywhere online so I stopped by this afternoon. I ordered two tacos. One chicken and one carne asada. They were just ok. Taco shells were a bit stale and the carne asada had an odd taste and was really salty. The decore was nice. There is a salad bar but I don’t know if that’s for everyone or just with entrees. This place has only been open a couple months so I’ll give it another try later.

A new Mexican restaurant always snags our attention. I would place this restaurant in the same cohort group as Taco Suave, Rey Azteca and Taqueria Morena, and if ranked it would be at the bottom of this list. It is comparable to these others in price and ambiance, although its menu is much more limited than Rey Azteca’s menu(which is fine; I don’t actually need that many choices). The food was fresh and promptly served by our very efficient waitperson. We liked the chips and salsa(although warm chips would result in another star). The chunky guacamole was ok, but it suffered from over-handling so that the avocado took on a «slick» look, which I find unappealing. Less handling plus more garlic, lime and cilantro will fix the dish. And yes, I actually am a guacamole expert. We both ordered the chicken fajitas. This was the first time that I have had fajitas made with pre-cooked and sliced chicken. The problem with this approach is that the chicken does not absorb the flavors of the peppers and onions. The fajitas were tasty, but would truly sing if made in the«traditional» manner. The accompanying beans(not refried, but instead whole and in their cooking liquid) were good. The rice was another story. The seasoning was fine but either the rice was over-cooked or converted rice was used. The rice turned to mush as soon as it hit the tongue. As a result, our scoops of rice remained largely intact at the end of the meal. We will stop back in a few months to see if these issues have been addressed. In the meantime, we wish you much success.

I had the fajitas that were excellent. The service was from the owner’s daughter. It was great. I am so excited because it is so close to my house. My husband had the tamale and loved it. We are just waiting for them to get their liquor license, so we can enjoy a Margarita with our meal.
