Bagels-4-U

I don’t understand the bad reviews. This place is a good breakfast spot. All the salty smelly fish varietals one could ask for and a whole cornucopia of mayo-​based spreads.
Bagels are fine and doughy. I hate bagels that are like lenders (bread with a hole) or are too thin. This place makes a good B plus New York style bagel.
Drawbacks: packed on weekends (which I guess is a positive because it shows the demand for a quality product)
–Servers are English deficient and make mistakes. They are also a bit surly, but can you blame them? Enjoy them now because if Trump is elected, they may go away.

It took them three tries to get my breakfast sandwich order correct. Food is good, though.

Same opinion as most. Good bagels but horrible service. There are times i have been there at 6am (they open at 530) and they only have 1 or 2 bagel options. Not only that but it will take them 10 minutes for my order even though there are 2 of them there and i am the only customer there.

The good news is that the bagels are good, and the place is close to home.
The bad news is the service. I want to say something, anything nice — so that would be there is lots of room for improvement. Stopped in this morning on my way to work at 6:25 AM — not exactly rush hour. There were 4 people behind the counter and there was a gentleman who walked in ahead of me. He ordered a croissant with butter — pretty easy order you would think but seemed to be a chore here. It was an inordinate amount of wait time so I poked my head around to see what the whirring noise was and asked him if he ordered a smoothie. Nope. She was making herself a smoothie. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. She asked me when I placed my order if there was anything else. No thank you. When she handed me my bagel — is there anything else? No thank you. When she took my money — is there anything else? The point is that she was not attentive to the customer — she was busy tasking to the other girl behind the counter and this was just a little more than one should be forced to deal with this early in the morning. So a recap is that the bagels are great and the service is not.

Customer service is below average. My tip is, to have patience while waiting in line and they move very slow.

The bagels are great, but the service is horrible. The employees drag their feet while getting your order together. People usually stop because they want something quick and head off to work, but this place is definitely not a quick stop. I waited at the registers for a little over 10 mins just for a hot chocolate and a bagel with veggie cream cheese. If they didn’t have great bagels, I wouldn’t have even given them the 2 stars. They are honestly my last resort in this area.

the bagels here are the best. even better, the big freezers of 6-​packs to go for about $ 2

This is near work so we use to go once a week. Today was the last time I’m ever going. The bagels have been stale so we aren’t sure if they are using yesterday’s bagels to save money. The staff has literally two good staff members and the rest are useless. When I do not get one of the two good ones, guaranteed the order will be wrong. Today cemented my never going back because she had to ask me FOUR times. Then wrote it down. Wasn’t a complicated order. Previous comment about zombies is accurate. Except for the two good women on staff.

I have never felt so disrespected by the employees of a restaurant before.
My sister and I stood at the counter and waited for at least 10 mins to be served. They served 2 people in front of us and whenever I tried to make eye contact to ask for service I was ignored. At around the 10 minute mark we were the only customers at the counter. When I saw the person who appeared to be in charge starting to come out from behind the counter I asked if I could order to which he rudely responded «No. I have customers.» (???What am I???)
When I pointed out to him that I had been waiting a long time he repeated «I have customers.» So, all in all I cannot comment on the food as I was not served. I admittedly left in a huff after being treated like I wasn’t worth serving.

I think that the bagels from Bagels 4 U are pretty good. They are crispy on the outside and not to doughy on the inside. I normally buy 1dozen bagels at one shot. My favorite is sesame and everything. I also like to get Taylor ham egg n cheese on a sesame bagel or tuna salad which is also good.
This place can get very busy.
The lines can back up and organization is thrown to the wind.
The staff is friendly, but needs to work together better.
I will continue to come here with hopes of improvement .
If ur ordering for several people better to call in ur order and pick it up.

The walking dead should check out this place for extras… it seems as if it’s run by zombies… the staff look like they are chained there by force & want to be anyplace else but there. Customer service is non-​existent. We have tried several times to see if our bad experience was just a one-​off but it’s like Groundhog Day everytime you go!
–Wait times are horrible
–always an error with our order
–bagels are def not worth the wait
–no grill staff so if u order sandwiches your clerk disappears & then there’s no one manning the counter for people who just want to pick up bagels
–same person touches the bagel then the grill then your money which grosses me out
–owner looks just as pissy as the staff which I guess is why they are miserable!
I would rather drive 30min out of the way to a decent bagel place than give them my business which they clearly don’t appreciate! Never again!

They are successful because they are consistent… Always good! The long lines are worth the wait.

The service is terrible and the bagels are mediocre. I’ve visited this place a half dozen times and they always get my order wrong. This morning I had to repeat my order three times and they even wrote it down and they still got it wrong. There is also no sense of urgency. I was the only person in the place and my order took forever. I will never be returning again. Just not worth the aggravation.

Worst bagel place I have ever been to. I have given them so many chances to give me even mediocre service and they still disappoint me every time. My order is wrong at least 75% of the time, and the staff has the worst attitude I have ever seen. They act like they are doing you a favor and have absolutely no sense of urgency or customer service.
The coffee is horrible as well, and their bagels are inconsistent. Check out my picture. Tiny bagel with almost no «everything» on it. They also gave me regular cream cheese instead if lite veggie cream cheese. Not long ago I also asked for a grilled cheese. After a 20 minute wait I got American cheese on untoasted white bread. Unbelievable.

I know what most of you are talking about regarding the service. They definitely take their sweet time getting your order ready. However, you have to admit their bagels are pretty damn good! The jalapeño bagel is my all time favorite. I usually order it with the light tuna. Just a suggestion; if you don’t have a lot of time for lunch and see that the line inside is backed up, walk away… just walk away!

Bagels are good. However, it shouldnt be a 10 minute wait when only 2 customers are in front of you. They need to become more efficient behind the counter.

I work near this establishment, and when i am in dire need of loading on carbs in the morning I stop by before work. It has been a painful experience almost every time. So much so that I will not be returning. They constantly get my order wrong, the wait time is inefficient, and the staff is inattentive and rude.
The only reason I kept enduring the pain is because I enjoyed the bagels, but not even an okay tasting bagel can tromp such horrible staff.

Rude staff acting as if it is my job to give them business. Bagel is small and very average.

I have only purchased bagels from here and done so either fully prepared or separately to fix as you will at home. Everything has been good and I guess the down side to a popular place is the fact that I do not believe I have ever been here when there was no line at all. If the line wraps around it can be a bit of a wait so do not expect a quick in and out if you are in a hurry.

I was looking around for window blinds a couple of years ago and on my day off I remember passing by this place and decided to check it out.
Bagels are good here, staff are very nice. I had garlic bagel with scrambled eggs and bacon. I asked them to toast my bagels and they had no problem doing it.
My only complaints is that they should have some sort of assembly line of people doing certain jobs. One only does the cooking, the other just the cash register. It might help with the long waits.
