Seated right away at 7pm on Friday night. Server was attentive, drinks, appetizer and meals arrived timely and hot. The spinach artichoke dip was very good but some of the chips were oily. The crispy brewhouse chicken had an overly thick breading, conveniently on the bottom, with a stout gravy a hair away from tasting burnt. Too much money for mediocre food.

I don’t believe my husband and I will ever come back to this location. Let me preface this by saying I have worked in the food service industry. There was no host when we walked in. It took over 5 minutes just to be seated. Multiple servers just stood and stared at us waiting to be sat. Once we were sat it took 10 – 15 minutes to get drinks and the only reason our waitress came to our table when she did was because she saw me glaring at her while she was talking to the table across from us that she knew. We ordered everything at once because we were annoyed at the time it took just to get her to our table. Our appetizer never came and when we asked about it, she never put it in. In the meantime, she forgot drinks and a to go box for another table. We also ordered after a table across from us and got our food first. When the other table asked about it, she told them the kitchen must be making everything from scratch. In reality, I doubt she put their order in. We paid our bill on the little console on the table and got the heck out of there ASAP. No manager ever came and checked in or anything.

We’ve been waiting 30 minutes for salads. Glad we didn’t order anything that needed cooking. A table next to us left 15 minutes ago and the floor is still covered in food and garbage from a kid that was there. A manager should have had it swept up a long time ago. This place has really gone down hill and we will not be coming back.

Overall, the food is usually decent(3 – 4), but the service is almost always terrible(0 – 1). They repeatedly make mistakes with our ‘Carside-to-Go’ orders, yet they rarely take responsibility or even show remorse. I started using their online ordering service, which seemed like it would be difficult to mess up since everything is printed out for them, but they still often manage to either forget something or give us the wrong items. Tonight, after we returned home, we found out that they had given me fries instead of vegetables. It clearly stated in the confirmation email«Substitute: Seasonal Vegetables», so I know there was not some sort of glitch. This was especially annoying because I am not allowed to consume most starches, and there were fries thrown all over my food. I called to complain, adding that I would like to reduce my tip because we had to return to the restaurant. The manager, who seemed completely indifferent about the situation, claimed he didn’t know if he could do that because I had used a credit card. I find that incredibly difficult to believe this would be an issue, since we have previously had our bill altered under similar circumstances. For the record, we have never had such horrible service at any other Applebee’s.

Never been a huge fan of this place because service is usually terrible and the food not so great. Today, however, I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Server was attentive. Not happy with the new menu, but today was a pretty good day for Applebee’s.

Avoid. Wife and I ordered salads. Took 45 mins to get them and only because I asked for the manager who ended up bringing them out and they were the wrong salads. Manager was totally indifferent to the mistake. Additionally, we saw a number of folks walk in and because the hostess station was vacant for quite some time, people left. Last, it would have been nice to get at least one drink refill. Attention to service is very bad.

I tried to have lunch at the bar. There were 6 open seats that were ‘reserved’ for people that were not there, but on the way. First come first serve? Not here. I walked out and spent my $$ elsewhere.

I won’t bother putting up pictures it was a disaster. My little boy had a rough day at school, and wanted to go somewhere to eat so, we popped in there as it is close by, and on the way home. It is also meant to be half price for kids on Tuesday, and being kids they often just want chicken nuggets and corn dogs. The wait staff were fine seated us on a table that wobbled. The crowd at the bar were already drunk at 3:30 pm in the afternoon, and we could hear the F bomb being shouted where we sat by the window, on the rocking table 20 feet away. They have a new pub menu, I ended up ordering a drink and an appetizer of mini sliders. The kids ordered chicken nuggets and fries, and the corn dog & fries. It took a while for the food to come out, when it did the corn dog was frozen. The manager came by and apologized and they said they would be out with another soon. The second round came out and yes again the corn dog was frozen in the middle. Manager came by again apologized had nothing to really say for the fact the cooks can’t cook. They took my daughter’s kids meal off the bill still charged me full price for mine and my sons. I won’t be back and again this reiterates to me the poor standards of chain restaurants in our area. I’ll be letting Applebees know. My advice stay clear. I stopped coming here about 2 years ago. Tables and bar were sticky. Servers couldn’t care less.(it seemed). Steak… uch. tough. tasteless. Same people at the bar every time I went. Looked like some kind of Duck Dynasty ritual. I just don’t like it there anymore.

Well, I really like Applebee’s usually but today changed my mind. My Aunt and I went to lunch there today and arrived at around 1pm we were seated promptly when we entered. It was a little busy and looked like there was plenty of servers on at that time. We sat down and our server came over to greet us within a few minutes of being sat. He was quite shy and wasn’t really confident about his job, I can’t recall what his name was but he asked us if we wanted anything to drink and we both ordered sodas, which came out promptly. We said to give us a few minutes to decide on an appetizer on which we decided on the hot spinach artichoke dip, we then also ordered our entrée’s to come out afterward, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Broccoli Alfredo and my Aunt ordered the Shrimp Scampi. By this time 15 minutes has passed, but wait it gets worse. We waited about 7 more minutes for the appetizer to show up at the table and then by that time the customers/guests that came in after we did were getting their entrée’s before us when our appetizer showed up. I kept looking around the restaurant and noticed that the manager was just walking around not really connecting with the customers/guests and or sitting down in the waiting area talking to the other servers and joking around. As I also am a restaurant manager. My Aunt and I waited for a good 30 or so minutes before our entrée’s came to the table, with no explanation but a «I’m Sorry» from the server. Which when they did, my Aunt’s scampi was nothing but a bowl of somewhat ok noodles and the shrimp were a little over cooked. A bit bland and not a lot of kick to it. My Alfredo was like eating paste very thick sauce over burnt chicken and noodles.(I cook noodles for a living). It was definitely not worth waiting 30 minutes for. I could of gotten something way better and cooked right at another restaurant. The server then came and asked us if we wanted dessert and my Aunt and I declined as we did not want to wait for that for another 30 minutes. I have been going to Applebee’s for a long time closer to Arlington VA and the one there is way better with service. All I recommend is that the Manager pays closer attention to detail and is better at training your servers. It was not worth $ 50 we spent for two people.

I recently moved here from out of state. I travel a lot for work and eat out most nights so I know how you’re supposed to be treated. I’ve tried this Applebee’s a few times and every time the food looks and tastes like it’s been under a heat lamp a long time. Service is mediocre at best. Hands down the worst Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. I’ll never go there again.

The food is reliable thanks to the chain factory menu, the service a little less so but there have been no really bad instances lately that would keep me away. I’m not a big fan of the recent remodeling though. While the décor is better — no more kitschy junk hanging on the walls, replaced with a new selection of local pictures — they also took down the glass partitions separating the bar area from the other seating areas. Maybe the thought was that with no smoking allowed they were no longer needed. But the noise level from the folks having a good time in the bar is more intrusive now, and with the partitions down you really notice it when you are sitting literally two feet away from someone on the bar side. The wife and I stopped in for dinner last night. The«Two for $ 20» special really is a good deal: two entrees and an appetizer for $ 20 plus tax. The food came reasonably quickly and was very tasty, we just felt that the dearth of partitions reduced the intimacy too much.

Dined at Applebee’s for lunch last week and it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. When travelling, I usually try to stick to locally owned restaurants and avoid the chains, and now I have another reason to keep with this method. The seating was prompt and our server was good. She just had to apologize too many times. We had 3 orders and two were very wrong. Two identical club sandwiches were ordered, one came out along with a chicken sandwich. Also, a vegetarian ordered a cheese quesadilla with specific instructions to hold the bacon, and a chicken & bacon quesadilla was delivered instead. Everyone tried to wait on the food orders to eat together, but it turned out to be impossible. A staggered round of dining was the case as the reorders arrived late. Taco Bell’s cheese quesadilla’s are much better prepared than the bland, basically cheese-less creation that was re-delivered. The server referenced the new cook a few times. Hopefully they get everyone trained and on the same page.
