Sorry to see Bill the past manager go. This is sad but fitting however. I witnessed John Moliere, the current owner, punch a guest in the face last year and then he got cuffed and dragged off by the police with his wife screaming. He is a bully. Check the police records.

My wife and I just had lunch at The Bridge. It was the first time since the name changed. She had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken which was very good. I had the Reuben(with cheese and sauerkraut in it), sale and fries. All were great. Service was excellent. For dessert my wife had the homemade orange sorbet(excellent) and I had the crème brûlée with chocolate bottom(also excellent). The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars was because they were out of quiche and this was not long after lunch started. Also, Sylvie, one of the owners, visited everyone to check on food and service — nice touch. She gave us a tour of the restaurant since we are planning a group dinner in September. Overall excellent food, excellent service!

Wow, so glad we found this place yesterday. They have the nicest roof top area for lunch or dinner. We were there for lunch and had the whole rooftop to ourselves. Started with the smoked Salmon and Trout appetizer & it was delicious. Then after talking to our server Joel we decided on the Charcuterie board with 3 different ‘pates’. And make sure you eat the Caper berries! My husband had a nice local brewed beer and I had the Pretty in Pink Rose, which was very refreshing and NOT too sweet. The only thing that annoyed me was how the hostess looked at my jeans~ yes, they are ‘destructed’, yes I bought them that way ;) Don’t judge! This was about 50 miles from where we live but a nice drive & certainly worth another visit~

I made a reservation for 8 people 3 months in advance. We were placed in a «private room» that turned out to be a through fare for the entire wait staff. I was seated at the head of the table and I counted that the servers hit my chair 7 times. I am not sure why they call this a private room? The mussels were luke warm. One of the desserts inedible. Most of the food was just«ok». What dissappointed me the most was the follow up email that I sent about our experience and NORESPONSE. Oh well!

The Bridge Restaurant is the re-branding of «The Iron Bridge Wine Company.» I always enjoy my visits to this establishment — which is now officially known as «The Bridge.» The Bridge just launched it’s new web site — you can check it out here: The Bridge is a three level establishment: A Basement level which includes a full bar and a private room for small groups to dine; the main level with a full bar, and an upstairs dining area. There is also the outdoor rooftop dining area out the back of the upstairs dining area. I love the Meatloaf, Asparagus, and mashed potatoes — as well as one of their Winter dishes — the Sausage and Rabbit Cassoulet dish. Another ongoing fave is the Salad made with a red lettuce and Caesar dressing, served with a Crab cake! They always have a pretty good Malbec on hand — I’m a fan of Malbecs — so I usually enjoy a glass of Malbec or two. Ivan and Justice are two of the head bartenders — and excellent bartenders they are! Ivan makes a mean Vodka martini! Ask for your olives to be stuffed with Blue Cheese! Delicious! They have an extensive wine selection, a full bar, with a reasonably good selection of fine single malt scotch, and as well as some beer choices. They usually have a couple of good local craft beers in their beer selection. I always enjoy 5@5 on Friday evenings in the basement of The Bridge, appetizers and drinks at happy hour prices, along with the weekly trivia night competition that usually occurs around 6:00 pm — with Bob Grouge as Judge, Jury, and Executioner — as he likes to say! We always have fun at Trivia Night! The ambiance is warm, comfortable, and enticing and Robert Grouge the owner/manager and his staff make the experience of visiting a lot of fun! They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! It’s sort of like our own more sophisticated version of Cheers!
