I sat and waited for 20 minutes before someone came to our table, and the only reason they did is because we had to ask the manager to send someone over. I’ve been here previously and the service was also terrible. I asked for water with lemon, received no lemon. My friend ordered sausage, received bacon. The food took a while to come but not too long and tastes like any other IHOP. Also, be careful, the plates are burning hot. Had to ask for ketchup twice and when our waiter brought it, it had barely any ketchup. My sister had to ask more than once for a water, and even had to ask the manager. Also, when I was trying to pay and tip, the waiter stood at our table the entire time while I was getting money out of my wallet. This may not bother you but for me, I felt pressured and uncomfortable. Overall, would not recommend this IHOP.

Well after watching a woman choke, and another family receive the worst customer service possible, as well as probably the coldest meal, I cannot give this restaurant anymore than two stars. I believe that there is not an excuse for bad customer service at a place like this especially when it’s empty

After today, I know now I’ll stick to the local joints. Our waiter barely understood English. The manager brought out our orders and even HE seemed confused on the plates received. Totally missed a whole order! Never apologized but stated it will be right out. Right Out… Scrambled eggs still very runny and cold french toast. My bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on the side… burger cold. Fried egg was as flat as an ironed shirt. No yolk. Cheese cold… bacon? 1 slice in 3 halves. waiter came by. I waved my cold cheese slice in front of him. He microwaved it and sat it in front of me. Both of my kids said the sausage links tasted old. They only took a couple bites. We were comped one plate value but no matter. We won’t be back. Guy at check out talking to a server about quitting and server used language that my kids didn’t hear. GOTOMARSHALLDINER. OLDSALEMCAFE. GOTOFROSTDINER. QUITTHISCHAIN. NOONECARESBUTFOR A PAYCHECK. WHYAM I EVENSURPRISED? What a shame.

Drunk waiter super rude who kept inserting himself into our business and conversation. Super odd. If you’re into frequent disruptions and presumptuous wait staff this is the place! As we’re waiting he’s annoying the hell out of another table. After waiter left, they grumbled amongst themselves everything he got wrong. Wth… Faking familiarity with«Oh the Misfits?» [On tshirt SO is wearing.] «They’re from Fredericksburg. Yeah Fredericksburg!» No dude. Lodi. But good try. Don’t be fake and try too hard. Just be polite. Oh and don’t be drunk. To their credit, waitress who helped after and hostess were very accommodating and friendly.

We go to this IHOP around once or twice a month. Easy location, lots of parking and friendly staff. We all have our favorite dishes that we always order and never had any issues with the quality. Once in a while we have to remind the wait staff of a missing drink or extra creams etc… Why 3 stars? Almost always the tables we get, were not cleaned right. It seems like they did a half-fast job wiping the table top. So we end up wiping the table again. And a slow check out process. Will come here again probably because I just love their coffee.

My experiences with this IHOP have varied from 1 – 5, so I feel that 3 is a fair ‘overall’ rating. The food, with a few notable exceptions, is decent, and the portions tend to be very generous. My sunny-side-up eggs are always cooked perfectly, the sausage links are delicious, and their crepes are wonderful. However, my omelettes are usually overdone, their bacon is like greasy cardboard, and a lot of their pancake dishes are underwhelming. The individual personalities of the staff range from dismissive to friendly. Unfortunately, regardless of their demeanor, they frequently forget items in our to-go orders. Today, I ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Omelette with an extra side of hollandaise sauce. They forgot the side of hollandaise, so we had to go back. The omelette was somewhat overcooked, as usual, which left parts of it dry and inedible. Luckily, I always have plenty of food to pick through(and leftovers) because their omelettes are so huge. The ratio of vegetables and cheese to eggs was great. I always order extra hollandaise, though, because there is never enough to cover their giant omelettes. Needless to say, their hollandaise sauce is a solid ‘good’. I also enjoy it with their Chicken Florentine Crepes. Their menu is ever-changing, so try not to get too attached to any of their new items; unless you are a regular, it will likely be gone the next time you visit.

Lousy slow service. Could not use a coupon I paid for not coming back! I ordered an omelet that came out so dry it was hard to swallow. My toast was not buttered. I had to basically argue with the manager about a coupon I bought to use… In the end was given the discount because I told the manager I would be filling out the survey I was sent from . The coupon specifically said to show coupon to server to be validated. The manager told me I was supposed to click on it to validate it and then print the email validation out when I received it. So I clicked on validate and the only thing I received from was a survey asking me how my experience was with IHOP. Needless to say the experience was not good and I will not ever go back.

Was kinda shocked to see such an empty place. IHOP was on our way home and the kids said they wanted IHOP so their we went. Place was clean and empty. Only one other table had customers there when we arrived. Later they had a couple more people show up. So I got curious and I hoped on Unilocal to see they had 17 review at 2 stars. I wouldn’t say it was that bad. It’s IHOP not a 5 star restaurant. This place fulfills the IHOP experience just fine. Food was hot and seemingly fresh and well prepared. They did run out of Sprite or whatever brand it was so kids switched to Coke. If you want breakfast at anytime of the day, what’s better than IHOP? I find it better than the other choices. As far as there other offerings, I only order breakfast, get what they specialize in!

Ok so I know it’s IHOP, I would have been okay with mediocre. What I got was not even close to mediocre. 1. I get seated after awkwardly standing at the host stand for 5 minutes. Mind you, it’s NOT busy. Three of the waiters/hosts/employees look at me at the front and look away. 2. I finally get seated by the only person that seems to be working. She’s taking drinks/orders, bringing out food, waiting, and not seating everyone that comes in. I’m wondering what’s going on, since they do seem fully staffed(1 manager on duty, 4 other waiters) 3. I wait 10 minutes for someone to come up and ask what I would like to drink. I hear a couple of the employees ask one another«Hey has anyone helped that girl over there?» Nobody has and STILL nobody came. I’m parched by this time since I just finished hiking Old Rag mountain. 4. Finally, Will comes, gets our water and our order even if he’s not our waiter(she’s busy helping the 10 other groups in the restaurant). 5. Food comes out and it’s good, nothing terrible about it, it’s IHOP. whatever. However, my soup didn’t even get put in the system so our waitress(the only one working) rushes to put the soup into the system. 6. This whole time I’m wondering what the F the rest of these employees are doing. Outside of our waitress and the people in the kitchen who are working, you have this fat Mexican chick, leaning on the counter picking her nails, tall white boy meandering around the restaurant doing jack Sh**, black kid waiting on maybe one table, IF that. On top of all this, THEREWAS A MANAGERINCHARGE. The Fuuuu**? 7. While paying our waitress, I ask, «So what’s the deal? Is everyone in training or something? How come you’re the only one waiting tables and everyone is standing around?» Apparently, the waiters decided to just shut down and stop working. WHAT??? Hello manager in charge??? They need to clock the fuck out and go home! If only I could give zero or negative stars.

Edited, okay so about 4 hours after our stop and I was the first to feel it, then my youngest, next the oldest and then my wife, we all have been praying to the porcelain god. It’s the only place all four of us ate at and we have been pretty ill! Dirty kitchen? Stopped in on our way home. It was pretty clean, service was friendly and prompt. The only issue I thought I had was the portions. I ordered the fish and chips and as it was placed on my table I was a little peeved. There were only two little pieces of fish. As it turned out they were bigger than I thought. There was a nice crisp batter that barely covered the fish but I prefer it this way, more fish, less bread. All in all it was a good experience.

Got to the restaurant at 4pm… There was only one table and the waiter took forever to take our drink order, get the drink, get our food order, and bring the food out. So I wasn’t happy already. Had to ask to have drinks refilled, were asked once if everything was ok(when the food had just come out — so I don’t count this as doing your job) and didn’t clear our plates for dessert. Food was good however. Chicken moist, corn well down, and broccoli not overcooked. Pancakes were good except they forgot the strawberries when they came out it was literally 4 of them. Will only come back if I’m starving and there’s nothing else opened.

It’s an IHOP, what do you want from me? Oh, right — something other than snarky comments. I swung by here with a raging hoard of soccer players between a couple of U9 girls tournament games today along with assorted parents and coaches. The parking lot was pretty full and I expected our party of 20 would require 3 – 4 hours to get seated. Turns out we were in seats in probably about 15 minutes. Not bad at all! We were spread out across 3 tables — all the kids at one, and the parents/coaches across another two. We’d indicated we didn’t ALL need to be at a single table which, no doubt, accelerated our seating. Two servers appeared to be assigned to us as a group and we sure made their lives difficult: we requested they split the checks by family(families were sometimes spread out across tables + the kids tables) AND one of our party moved after ordering his drink confusing the bejesus out of the wait staff. Food took a little longer than I would have hoped, but given the chaos that’s really just a silly complaint. It was hot & delicious. In a couple of cases they didn’t correctly mark down what people wanted — my older daughter, for instance, ended up with bacon and no eggs instead of eggs and no bacon. Frankly, I’m sure the cook thought«eggs and no bacon? That can’t be right.» I’m right there with him. Still, my daughter pointed it out when it arrived and not two minutes later, a side of eggs was delivered. Amazing! Meanwhile, I had the international passport breakfast(I don’t remember the last time I ordered something other than that). The bacon was slightly floppy, the sausages were plump and juicy, the over-medium eggs were … over-medium, and the swedish pancakes were very lingonberrious. mmmmm. Ok, I need to stop reveling in the past or I’ll fall prey to the pantry. Throughout the meal I kept thinking, «Gosh, i should say something apologetic/nice to these poor folks dealing with our chaos» but kept on getting distracted by trying to contain the chaos to do so. Astoundingly enough the staff kept on smiling and accommodating our perpetual random little requests with grace and alacrity. At one point, on member of our party mumbled, «Wow, these servers are saints!» Getting the check and paying went smoothly and quickly. I left full & happy. What more could you ask for from an IHOP?

Service was fine. Food was fine. They would’ve gotten a 3rd star for pure middle-of-the-road chain restaurant okay-ness, but I really didn’t like having to listen to an overly rambunctious kitchen staff through my entire meal. Fun at work is good, but it should be done at reasonable volumes. That cook’s voice could still be heard as I walked out the door.

We haven’t been to this particular IHOP in awhile, having had problems with IHOP’s in general(particularly the one in Culpeper, VA) in the past. But this morning we had early morning errands to run in that direction, so stopped in here for breakfast around 9 a.m. Were seated promptly & cheerfully. Weren’t at all surprised to see a brand-new menu in place(I don’t think I’ve EVER seen the same menu twice at an IHOP — the company’s printing & laminating bill must be enormous). Hubby ordered water & a Swiss Cheese & Turkey Bacon Omelet — usual rolled omelet with 3 – 4 narrow slices of turkey bacon wrapped around it & a slice of Swiss Cheese melted over the top. Came with the usual pancakes. At the time of consumption, he said it was«okay». I ordered coffee, a large orange juice, & one of their new breakfast sandwiches, the Ham & Cheese Melt — 2 large grilled slices of sourdough bread with an omelet, sliced ham, & cheese inbetween. Tabasco Sauce was cheerfully provided. I don’t know what I was thinking, but I chose hash browns as my side, even though the Culpeper IHOP nearly poisoned me with theirs a few years back(rancid oil). While my sandwich was also«okay», the hash browns, frankly, were way undercooked — a few brown bits on top, the rest snow-white with an oily flavor. Not rancid, just unpleasant. So those I left after just a bite or two. One lucky break. Some previous juvenile malcontent diner had completely loosened — obviously on purpose — the tops from the salt & pepper shakers for a little fun. Luckily I discovered this before we seasoned our meals. Anyway, it was a moot point, as about an hour after our breakfast, we both began to feel under the weather in a stomach/intestinal-distress sort of way. I hate to cast inconclusive dispersions, but neither one of us has any choice but to point to breakfast. Bottom Line: Breakfast after tax but before tip came to $ 22.69. That said, we will not be revisiting any IHOP location in the future. We’ve just had too many episodes of digestive/intestinal problems afterwards, & neither one of us are prone to that sort of thing. Perhaps there is something at IHOP that just doesn’t agree with us specifically(the oil or griddle grease or whatever they cook with?), but it’s just too coincidental that it’s happened on more than one occasion at more than one location.

Oh yes the hostess job is to seat you, when it is crowded you find an open table, right? Ok an empty restaurant you seat people all crammed in one area so we are uncomfortable? The place was not busy on a friday afternoon about 4:30. I was so uncomfortable I can’t remember much else. I remember pancakes being good sausage ehh ok and fatty bacon. No toast though I don’t know about eating eggs without toast? Good location but the air conditioning wasn’t working very well on this visit. The menu has changed again at the IHOP lots of pictures to help you see but we all kept flipping through it to decide what to order.

The place was not to busy as the photo I posted shows. It took a few min to get seated and around ten min for a server to come to our table things were not looking good. The server was great nice funny and done a great job. The food come faster than I would have thought and was very tasty. Things turned out to be OK not great but not bad either.

I was so excited to get a hearty breakfast at IHOP. However — the following experience was pretty bad. Now — I will preface my review with information that the service staff was not bad. They were timely and somewhat helpful. However, when the food is bad — I give a bad review. This place was not good. It might have been a better experience had stuck with simple foods– eggs, bacon, ham. Instead I opted for the steak omelette. The vast majority of the omelette was layer upon layer of dry, tasteless egg mix. The ingredients were sparse. The steak wasn’t good, but not terrible.

Visited this IHOP for breakfast this morning — had a craving for Blueberry pancakes! Got there a little after 10:00 am or — had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Once seated I ordered a coffee, the Blueberry Pancakes which comes with a Blueberry compote, and 4 strips of bacon. The place was packed but they seemed to do a good job of keeping things going. Most of the female wait staff were wearing NFL Jerseys from a wide variety of teams — from what I overheard — sounds like they do it every Sunday at this location. It took a bit of time(about 15 minutes or so) for my order to come out — but it was understandable given how busy they were. Pancakes and bacon were good, coffee was good, service was good, ambiance is your standard IHOP. Definitely recommend this IHOP!
