I love Longhorn, and generally always have a good experience here. Food and service are usually good but sometimes it’s just«ok.» The restaurant is clean and has ample seating. It can get busy during the evening hours but that’s to be expected.

We recently visited LongHorn for a family celebration. While the filet mignon I had was probably the most tender and flavorful I’ve had, even better than Outback’s, every single item we were served including appetizers was so laden with salt it was almost inedible. It is a shame because everything would have been perfect except the salt ruined the whole night. We’ll give you another try sometime Longhorn, but tell the chef he needs to taste his food before sending it out to customers!

I ordered the 7 oz salmon with french fries and a cesar salad and absolutely loved it! The service was amazing and was overall a great experience. I highly recommend!

The waitress wear tight jeans and have pretty decent asses. All were good looking. Service a bit slow but it was late. Bathrooms were dirty. Bread was good

I stopped in for an early dinner on a Friday night around 4:30PM, and had trouble finding a clean seat in the nearly empty restaurant. I’m always leery if the front-end needs a good clean-up — that’s the part they know the customers are going to see. I found the cleanest of dirty tables, and made the best of it. My husband and I enjoyed the happy hour specials to start. I wouldn’t recommend the house wine, but I did enjoy a draft beer for $ 4 and an amazing spicy chicken appetizer, also at reduced pricing. We tried the seasonal fried green tomatoes as well, and I enjoyed the experience. The bread is served free, freshly baked and warm — always a plus. I started to understand why there were crumbs all over everything when I first walked in. We also had one of the best servers we’ve ever had. He was a young man, he made excellent suggestions, and he was there when we needed anything, disappeared completely when we didn’t. I was very impressed. I ordered a filet mignon under a smoky bacon sauce, medium rare. At first taste, it was cooked perfectly to my preference and was absolutely delicious. So, why 3 stars? A few bites in, I found a hair in the food. The kitchen must’ve been as dirty as I suspected. Terribly disappointing, but true to form, the waiter was practically over my shoulder as I discovered it. He whisked it away and comped that dish. His service plus the great food I tasted still warranted a decent review. Wish they’d give this place a good clean-up. I’d love to come back!

Even though the last 2 times I have been there my steak was over cooked I have to give it 4 stars. I love it here(when it’s right!). Some of the servers really need to get on the ball. Tonight ours actually brought out 2 salads that looked like we ordered a child and adult one. She messed up with a lot of other issues too. To save the night the manager Jeffrey was great! He took my steak off the bill and gave me $ 25 in gift cards. He said to let us know the next time we are in and he would personally make sure everything is perfect. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Jeffrey for being such a great guy!

Pros: Friendly staff, good apps, great steaks, and clean bathrooms Cons: Limited conveinant parking(for Warrenton), 30 min between order and table delivery during off-peak times The food is great, but there are better values for eating out in the immediate area. If you want a good steak, it is a toss-up between LongHorn and Outback, which is only 5 minutes away. The prices are similar.

We decided to try this place a few weeks ago for an early dinner. It was nice that we could still order lunch items but the portions were very satisfying! We didn’t order alcohol, just water and iced tea. Our wait staff was great and helpful in giving us suggestions. IMO, the décor is rustic yet modern… not sure how to classify it. Ample parking, and benches outside to sit. East to get back on route 29. They have a nice looking bar and bathrooms are clean. Casual dining and an ok Childrens Menu. When we arrived, there was no wait, but when we left, they had a crowd and a 15-minute wait. Boy we came just in time! Will come back again.

We(family of 5) came here for b day dinner. The place is super clean. Service is fast and friendly and the waiter had no problem handling our party. Glasses were never empty and he was on top of our every need. You get a lot of food for the money and the steaks are cooked to perfection. Recommend getting there before 6pm or you may have to wait for seating. Service was excellent, can’t say that enough. Great experience. Highly recommended.

This is a pretty decent restaurant chain and is a nice detour from the standard Warrenton locations. Each time I go the food is amazing and the staff is pretty good 90% of the time. Its a little more expensive, but I guess that works in my favor so I don’t go there more often. We had one terrible waitress about 7 months ago, but the food was still great and we can laugh about it now. She was just very young. She criticized our order if she did not like the entrée, and told us how much she was tipped when Appleton Campbell had a company party there a few days prior. Still a great place to go, and over all the other staff we’ve met has been awesome.

I have been here many time with my husband, family, and friends. Its great for a quick date night. We’ve never had a problem with our order or service. My husband’s favorite is the Outlaw Ribeye; I go for one of the smaller steaks with mashed potatoes and a cheese stuffed mushroom. The sauce on my steak is amplified when you soak the mashed potatoes in it. The reason this restaurant deserves 5 stars is how accommodating they have always been to us. My husband had me try a mussel appetizer dish they were serving for a limited time. It was in a beer broth and came with bread for dipping. It was delicious. I went back to Longhorn a few weeks later with a friend for lunch. I noticed the mussels were no longer on the menu — still, I asked if they had them. The waitress told me she would talk to the chef. The manager then personally came to my table and asked how I would like the mussels prepared. They made it into a meal and only charged a couple dollars more than the appetizer price. I didn’t mind this at all because they were so accommodating and considerate(plus it was a meal size and not appetizer). This did wonders for me because they took the time to make sure I received what I wanted even though it wasn’t on the menu anymore.

I’ve been here three times now with friends. In general, the service has been very good. Every time we’ve gone has been on a Friday evening and thus it’s been very busy! I’ve had the opportunity to try a number of items on the menu: French Onion Soup, Wild West Shrimp, Steakhouse Burger, and their Outlaw Ribeye. The food has been good, I would not rank it outstanding — but you’ll get a good, tasty, hot meal here.

We have been to this location twice, once with my family and once with some friends. The first time with my family the food was good and I had no complains, my mother ordered something extra on her steak like onions or something I forget but it was missing. The waiter did not appear to be paying complete attention because he ignored my sister completely when taking our drink order. She doesn’t look old enough to drink alcohol but he didn’t even offer soda or water to her. It didn’t appear that the restaurant was busy but the food was slow to arrive. The second time it was definitely more busy because it was Friday night, service was much slower but again no complaints on the overall food. The service really turned my husband off this place.

This is usually our go to place for a quick date night with my wife. I don’t understand the lack of love for this place, but the food and drinks are good, the service is good, the only thing I am not fond of is the country music(I am an old metal head). Having eaten at the Warrenton Outback a couple days before, I ordered the same dish, a sirloin steak. The meat was definitely of higher quality and the steak was very tender. The Outlaw Ribeye is what I usually get and that is the best steak on the menu.

I gotta say — it’s something besides the normal, even though it is a chain, that are in the area. So kudos in my book! Staff was pretty friendly, it was my mother’s bday and it was the day prior to mother’s day –ooofa! We did the blue hair thang and arrived by 3:30 with a party of 6, and there was already a ton of people there! Wow! Weirdly they consider the high tops in the bar — seating. My mother doesn’t look old, but she is over 80 and she’s not that tall. So it was less than optimal. We were not given menus by the time the server came to take out order… weird. We got an appetizer, but we didn’t have enough plates or silver ware and had to ask for it. But all in all, staff was good, put up with us and our coupons and gift cards and questions etc! I went with the steak salad — wow! Delicious! Again, our server although a space cadet, was very nice, helpful.

I’ve been here two or three times, but it’s fairly new to the area(1 – 2 years old). Their food is good, but I have to say it’s not my favorite. I’d rather have an Outback steak any day — my husband calls me crazy, but there’s something about it! Anyway, the service is good and the menu has quite a few options. If I remember correctly, I enjoyed their house salad with ranch dressing — the dressing is full of flavor. The atmosphere is probably my favorite part. The bar is nice and kind of separate from the dining area, but not drastically. It’s got a kind of dark inviting feel to it.
