I had the pork sandwich, cheesy potatoes and baked beans. It was very good, especially liked the baked beans!

Had this a little while back and I’ve gotta say it was great! It was a little pricier than I expected to pay when I pulled off on the side of the road to get food from a trailer(very nice and clean), but it was delicious and worth every cent.

This mom and pop BBQ stop was a hit even with our picky 9 year old. Limited menu but limited to delicious things! Try the cheesy potatoes!

Omg. This is the best BBQ I’ve found in the area. The pulled pork was moist and delicious. I loved the Memphis sauce as well. The coleslaw was just the way I like it. I’m in love. I will be back every chance I get!

Drove past this place so many times and finally stopped today. Lots of good smoked pulled pork on a sandwich. Coleslaw was $ 1 extra but delicious! My son had brisket and it was delicious! Not 5 stars because nowhere to really sit and enjoy. Cheesy potatoes were delicious and nice and hot.

The web site for this place is . I submitted the web site to Unilocal but they move like cold molasses so no telling when, if ever, they will put it up. Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. I got the pulled pork and beef brisket and ribs and think all of them are outstanding. I even like their tomato based sauce. Of course this IS a food truck so you can find limited seating if it isn’t raining or eat in your car or take the food home. I have no doubts that I will be back. This is the best BBQ I’ve found since driving to Culpepper for the BBQ there. This place is on the same spot once occupied by Jammin’ Joe’s BBQ. I’ve been told that the couple that owned Jammin’ Joe’s split and just got rid of the business. Joe’s ribs were better but Billy has them beat by a good bit on the beef brisket and pulled pork. My one complaint is the corn bread contains sugar so I still have to go to Cracker Barrel to get decent corn bread. This place is REALLY located in New Baltimore which is a hole in the road on Lee Highway. Blink your eyes and you’ll miss it. There is a firehouse across the street and Amish wood works in the lot by the food truck plus they do have a pig sign by the road and an open light.

Two words — just stop! You’ll pass it along Route 29 and just see a shiny black BBQ truck… Then the brisket and ribs and sides will be amazing! Coleslaw here really makes the meal with a bit of zing to the crunch, hold the cream.

I am reticent to write anything less than a glowing review because the owner agrees with and practices Virginia’s «Open Carry» law. Some large-frame, semi-automatic pistol strapped to a hip can certainly temper out any outlandishly negative reviews. Let me state up front that they were VERY nice people and I appreciate what they are trying to do. But the food… The ribs LOOK like smaller St. Louis ribs with the rib tips cut off, which means they were missing a good portion of the meat and all that delicious fat. Either that or they are just larger Baby Back ribs. Either way, not that impressive, mostly because they were very dry and not all that flavorful. The sandwich was what we have been trained to come to expect around here(dry, pulled pork with almost no flavor on a small potato roll hamburger bun). Beans were OK. The sauces were bitter and added nothing positive to the meal — they could use more sweet, some spicy, and a lot more tang. They tasted like raw molasses and inexperience. The highlight was the cheesy potatoes, which were diced potatoes smothered in creamy cheese — pretty good/heart attack inducing. But if you’re a BBQ joint and the highlight of the meals you are serving is a side dish, you have missed the mark.

A new must-try for BBQ fans in the area. I stopped in today for the first time and created my own sampler with a sandwich-size portion of brisket and pork. I got a side of their Cheesy Potatoes and the bill set me back about $ 15. The brisket was very good. Tender, smoky, barky. There was a nice smoke ring and good flavor. For my tastes(note that I’m a snob when it comes to bbq), it was probably cooked a little longer than I’d like. I think that’s a function of it being smoked and then trying to keep it warm without overcooking it. It was very tender still, and it’s not easy to keep it warm for many hours and then have it ready when I walk up when there’s not a huge amount of business on a snowy Saturday. The pulled pork was also good if not very flavorful. No problems with it, I just wanted a little more taste to it. I had both sauces — the Carolina vinegar and the KC-style. The Carolina was authentic and snappy for the pork. The KC was a little sweet, but you might like it. For beef, or pork, I usually like a little more tang/heat to sauce. That’s a personal taste thing. I also tried the Cheesy Potatoes at the owner’s suggestion. He sold me on those. That and the brisket make the trip worthwhile. Make no mistake, this is a mobile affair and you walk up to the truck, order, and eat in your car or at home. Perhaps in the spring and summer they might put in some seating and tables. But as food trucks go, this one is impeccably clean. It’s also huge inside, well lit, shiny. You shouldn’t hesitate eating from here. Cleaner than most restaurants I bet. The service was quick and friendly and as was mentioned, they take credit cards. They also sell by the pound, rack and do catering. It’s great to have a new, locally owned business with nice people and good bbq. It’s definitely worth a couple of visits. I think I’ll try the ribs next. Good luck Billy!

I stopped in here after seeing Dawn R.‘s review of the place. I drive by here all the time and had not noticed the BBQ stand! I stopped in today and got a container(1 lb) of the pulled pork and half a rack of ribs to take home. I also asked about the«Railroad Soup.» They gave me a taste. I would say it’s more like a Beans &BBQ Stew than a soup — it’s very thick! And tasty! The ribs were tender, smoky, and succulent — delicious! And the pulled pork was tender and moist — also very tasty! They offer a number of sides — one side they don’t offer that I wish they had is collard greens. Oh well! The couple running the place were very nice. They do accept credit cards. Check this place out!

This BBQ joint is new to the area & has only been open about 6 weeks. The owner served me tonight & the customer service is on point! I had the pork BBQ sandwich with North Carolina sauce(homemade), coleslaw, & cheesy potatoes. The food was great, I love that so much of it is homemade. I will definitely be back to try other options on the menu. In addition to the North Carolina sauce, they also offer a Kansas BBQ sauce for the pulled pork. Other menu items include brisket, ribs, & baked beans, among other things. Come by & check it out for yourself!
