Its a real shame this place closed down. The food was always fresh and the tea was always delicious.

Great food and reasonably priced with friendly service. Had the Thai green curry and it’s well cooked. My daughter had the teppan teriyaki beef and she loved it too. Will be back for more.

I was SO disappointed in Eggroll Café. We walked in and the place looked really nice. The young woman at the counter was super friendly. We were off to a great start. I ordered the 6 eggroll combo — 2 chicken basil, 2 crab rangoon and 2 Peking pork. and a coconut milk bubble tea which was way too sweet. The eggrolls were an almost total disappointment. All of the eggrolls were too greasy. The first thing I had to do was to roll them in my napkin. Part of my disappointment was a menu that is too brief. Ordering a chicken basil eggroll, I expected something in the Asian realm of taste and ingredients. Instead what I got was an eggroll wrapper filled with cheese and a little chicken and almost no basil. The flavor was okay, but totally NOT what I was expecting. If you’re going to be «creative» you should be more descriptive so that people know what to expect in their order. The crab rangoon was also okay but what little crab there was was the imitation crab. The best of the three were the Peking pork eggrolls. The big draw back with them was that there was no pork to be found but they had a good(Asian) flavor. Eggroll Café’s menu talks about fresh ingredients and family recipes. I doubt their«Asian comfort food» family recipes included mozzarella cheese filled eggrolls. I also don’t consider imitation crab a fresh ingredient, especially in New England, which is known for its seafood.

I have stopped in here a few times and have enjoyed it. The bubble tea is a fun treat. I like the egg rolls. I did try their chicken dish and it was eh, ok. I would have to say the reason why I like this place is their employees. Wonderful smiles, very friendly and helpful. Not a single teenage eye roll in sight! :)

Let’s talk about how awesome this place is. A café setting, that serves a variety of delicious hot and crispy egg rolls ! The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is because I wish the selection of egg rolls were more towards asian cuisine. That being said, the ones I did have, pork, buff chk and basil chk, were great. Very fresh, light, crispy on the outside. I like that they each come with their own dipping sauce. I also had the Thai green curry w/chk. Best curry I’ve had, hands down. It hit every flavor profile, and was extremely filling. Love the little side of edamame and cucumber slaw the plates come with. If your a fan of bubble tea, this place seems to conquer that too. Very nice quiet stop to have some good food and good conversation.

From the menu and appearance I was expecting fast food quality food. Instead the egg rolls(fried spring rolls) were great. Not oily at all and real crisp. Food came very quick.

I had been dying to try Eggroll Café for quite a while. However, I left disappointed. 1. Cashier was very sweet and friendly. She even gave me a mango slushy sample while I was waiting. 2. I enjoyed my Thai Tea. 3. They are lacking vegetarian options. 4. I wanted an eggroll. What they actually have are spring rolls. The online menu indicated they have nim chow but in reality they do not. 5. I used their bathroom. Although clean, the auto-light was out of order. It was pitch black except for the flashlight on my cell phone. 6. The food took at least 10 minutes to prepare. I thought it would be faster. I had thought of ordering food from elsewhere and had I called the food into the other restaurant in advance, it would have been far quicker than standing around for 10 plus minutes. This is not really fast like they claim. 7. I read the Unilocal reviews and heard about the different sauces. I was never asked what I wanted. I was given a clear, watery sauce. I did not like the smell and did not use it. I would have made a different request if I had opened the bag when I was still at the restaurant but since I got take-out, I was far away when I finally noticed.

I was in town overnight for a grad school test and stopped here based on the Unilocal reviews. We split a chicken fried rice and a multi-order of egg rolls. I loved the crab rangoon and santa fe egg rolls the most. The chicken fried rice was excellent also. I tried a bubble tea and LOVED it. They take the time to label the sauces when you take out which was a nice touch. We actually went back on day two to eat again before we left. I wish they had a location in upstate NY where I live.

Service is top notch. Food quality and taste is always great. I go here about 5 times a week for lunch/dinner, and their staff is very consistent. If you’re into Cambodian home cooking with no msg and a slight american flare. This is the place to go!

I want to offer advice rather than criticism. Fountain drink options would be nice and probably infinitely more profitable than bottled beverages. More images of the food options would be helpful. Separate the coffee and tea sipper area on one side and the dining area on the other. Put something interesting on the walls. The art on posterboard look isn’t the best look. The food was good. The sauces that came with it could use some work.

Exceptionally nice(genuine!) service and piping hot egg rolls that were unique and delish! I stopped in because of all the great feedback I heard about them at a charity event they participated at and the hub-bub was true. The counter person recommended the taco or cheeseburger egg roll — I had the taco egg rolls. Can’t wait to go back for the other varieties. Don’t let the name fool you — they have much more than egg rolls!

Don’t let the empty parking lot or obscure building to turn you away, this place is actually decent food. The owner, manager will do a good enough job of this explaining the food to you like you’re an ignorant American. Sadly, most Rhode Islanders are but when you’re well versed in Asian fare it gets rather annoying and makes an encore less likely. Everyone is really nice and(too) helpful, the food is good and the restaurant is practically immaculate.

Egg rolls soups and bubbles The Eggroll Café does indeed have a whole bunch of different and unusual egg rolls but it is more than just that. It also serves some basic entrees like pork fried rice, some cool soups and salads ands also a variety of different bubbly tea things. The café is in the building that former housed Tim Horton’s Donuts and it still has that donut joint type of feel and ambiance to it which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s still a very casual place, you just order you food at the counter and then sit at a table until it is ready. The food is actually pretty decent, especially the curry soups. A bit of a bite to it without being overwhelming. The egg rolls can range from ordinary and mundane to unexpected and just plain bizarre. A different sort of a place that is nice to have in this land of pizza places and seafood restaurants. Just the cool bubble teas alone are worth a visit.

I wasn’t so sure about this place at first — I’m not a big eggroll eater. I thought I’d give it a try because my coworkers were all so excited, and hey, they had eggrolls that weren’t the usual icky unknown filling. The Crab Rangoon eggrolls are a PHENOMENON, dudes. I don’t even understand. Maybe magnets? Every now and then(at least once a week, generally more) I swear it’s as if I can hear my stomach talking, and dang, is it demanding. Fortunately it’s specific in its demands. Also very good are the chicken curry eggrolls and the Thai bubble tea. The staff is fantastic, very friendly, very fast, and within two visits they knew both my name and my order. Love this place!

Heck yes. Cheeseburger eggrolls? Pizza ones? Broccoli and cheese? They were all good, AND they have dipping sauces AND bubble tea, even FROZEN bubble tea? Yes thank you, I loved this place. And the staff? They were sweet as pie, so I have literally no complaints. Actually, one thing, I wish the edamame was served hot. My one suggestion is to dine in, just cause they make the plates look so perty.

Counter Service and they call you when your order is ready. Friendly sincere service. The gentleman greeted us and was patient as I waffled back and forth through the options. He had and was willing to share his opinions with us. I almost went with the flavors I typically like. He then suggested Chicken Basil, which was good and when you dip it in the tomato based sauce, wow, that is a tasty Eggroll! I noticed a dish in the«example» display not listed in the menu, Tepen Teriyaki. Delicious sauteed tender shaved steak and onions with a side of jasmine rice. I am so glad I took my time otherwise, I wouldn’t have noticed it. It had a side, pickled cucumber? It was not bad. Other Eggrolls that we enjoyed very much: Broccoli and Cheese, Classic Pork, Chicken Curry, Crab Rangoon. No soda, but that forced us to tried Bubble Tea. It was very nice, but SWEET!!! If you are not used to sugar drinks… sip it very slowly. While we were ordering, he offered us sample little cups and each had tapioca. Interesting and tasty. Dining area was noticeably clean and had warm colors. The food took about 10 minutes. I can’t wait to go back again. I love eggs/breakfast, so I look forward to the Breakfast variety.
