I am pretty surprised this place is not more well known than it is. I believe this place should have a long list of raving reviews. Maybe they are not as in the public eye because they are hidden away in a hotel. I hope people can one day see what I see in this restaurant.
First off, the service and wait staff is so friendly. They are so efficient and do their best to make you feel comfortable! The staff knows how to make their customers leaving satisfied and happy.
Second of all, the food here is what makes this place shine. You must order their grits topped with bacon and jalapeño jam. The bacon and jalapeño jam is addictive crack. That jam alone is something I can eat alone by the pound. To add that jam on top of a perfectly cooked bowl of grits is someone every restaurant should do.
Lastly, it’s a classy, updated, trendy and modern setting. And what’s better than doing brunch in a classy, updated, trendy and modern setting in Washington, D.C. like the cabinet.
TIP: It’s in the Hyatt hotel. It’s located downstairs to the far back side.
