Great shoes with design that are subtle yet stands out from the rest of the stuff you find at Nordstroms.

My first purchase of Camper shoes was in Paris, and I loved it. I have several camper shoes and I am glad their is a store in DC.

Best. Shoes. Ever. I’ve had several pairs of Campers. They are the most comfortable shoes ever made and last well beyond any imaginable amount of time. My two-year-old pair that I wear very frequently still look brand new. Worth the investment!

This is based on looking not buying as if I got the three pairs of stylish, but comfortable booties I wanted I would have spent $ 800. No can do. I wear a 7.5 but as I have a wide front of my foot and a regular heel I think I would probably have gotten an 8. They are made with natural upper and a rubber or something man-made sole, which is half of why they are so comfortable and in wearing them would give some. This is a Spanish line & I found out about them when a client had them on so I was excited to get to visit the store in Georgetown and try them on. I will save my pennies and one day own a pair. The construction is superb and I know they would last. They also have a two-year guarantee against any defects other than normal wear. The store itself is a gorgeous and definitely reflects the beautiful Spanish architectural esthetics. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I have owned 3 pair of Camper shoes over the year. However, the pair I bought at the Camper in Georgetown tore my feet up after walking only a few blocks in them! I tried to return them, with the receipt and the rude salesperson wouldn’t do it. I did not pay $ 110 for shoes that give me blisters. Do not go to this location and do not buy these shoes unless you can return them. Also, did you know that though Campers used to be made in Spain they are now made in China. Just something to think about when you are plunking down $ 100+

pros: The guy and girl who were working here on the day I visited could not have been nicer and funnier. I had a blast trying on different shoes and hearing their opinions. Dude was sassy and incredibly knowledgeable about what Camper does and does not carry. Both dude and girl were polite w/o being pushy, such a good combo! cons: Although there is already a lot of eye candy in this store, it can use some filling out. I am really looking forward to watching this shop grow. I hope it gets a lot more stock in, perhaps some other Camper gear as well, like accessories or maybe put together a shoe-care kit. Nothing fancy, just a smallish section of goods to complement their shoes. overall: I would come back and shop/live here without hesitation. For peeps unaware of this brand, don’t be put off by the higher-ish price tags; these shoes are very much worth the price.
