This was our last stop before we returned to NJ. We stopped in there for dinner. Delicious food, great drinks, excellent ambiance, and Ryan, our server, was delightful. Highly recommend the buffalo wings and(most especially) the mussels! Thank you Ryan!

First time at Clyde’s. I had some yummy mussels and caipirinha. We were in a rush because we were schedule to attend a show across the street, but the service was engaging, accommodating and fast. Loved it.

Clyde’s is prominently featured in the Georgetown shopping district. After strolling through the streets, we stopped in for a late lunch. We were seated in a booth immediately and my friend may his way to the back bar to watch the game. Clyde’s has a solid American-style menu at surprisingly reasonable prices. My friend ordered the chorizo empanadas with queso and I got the fish and chips. Complementary soft bread is served before food arrives. The atmosphere was lively and food was high quality and fresh. We had great service at the table. The value for the food and atmosphere was excellent and would come back next time!

I love eating at Clyde’s. I’ve been to the VA and Georgetown locations. Both are great establishments. I came into Clyde’s with my mouth set on their ribs. Much to my surprise, they weren’t on the menu because they weren’t «in season». I appreciate the fact that Clyde’s chef prepares seasonal dishes to use fresh produce and meats that are in season. Although my mouth was set on ribs, I chose the lamb burger and I wasn’t disappointed. The ground lamb was well seasoned and cooked to temperature. It was pretty juicy. I substituted the mayo for the herb yogurt and it was great on the burger. A nice tangy alternative to mayo. I paired it with the pares an fries, which were delicious. Overall it was a great and filling dish. I didn’t even remember wanting the ribs after eating it.

This was our last stop on our Happy Hour Tour & I was so very hungry. As soon as we walked in, it was crowded wall to wall. However, we lucked up on a table in the main bar area & I was very content. Jake our Server looked like he came of the front page of GQ magazine… made the breaking of the bread experience a little more enjoyable. He came right over, introduced himself to us & asked what could he get us to start off with. I won’t reiterate the comment my God Daughter made, but it was all in harmless fun & I told her to decide on a cocktail, not the Server. She ordered some Vodka concoction & I was happy with the house Malbec… I was so hungry I didn’t even inquire the brand. As soon as Jake came back, I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon Salad, with my traditional blackened option & my GD ordered Salmon Sliders. Thank you Jake for what seemed like he rushed our order, as our food came out pretty quickly. For a basic salad of mixed greens(I 86’d the bulghur & cheese), parsley, mint, cucumber & tomatoes & their signature lemon vinaigrette, it was very tasty. My GD’s Salmon Sliders were very tempting, but knew she had the sriracha aïoli, so I couldn’t sample. Food didn’t take forever even with the late night crowd, it tasted good & Jake exuded great table service… was an enjoyable experience all together. Perhaps i’ll mosey back down to experience NFL game day. Jake, we expect you to do the Double Check upon our next visit LOL!

It’s been about six weeks since I’ve been here. But hey, it’s review Sunday. So this is a typical American Restaurant in DC’s Georgetown. Special about it is an excellent service and great food. I had a tasty lobster for a more than fair price. Overwhelmed by a quality that I didn’t expect and compared to the other restaurants I tried on M Street I’ll rank it 5 stars.

Delicious meal tonight. I ordered the crab tower which is basically a maki roll converted to several layers. There’s a few layers — fried rice cake, crab, avocado, and seaweed. It was really good and the miso sauce was a good touch. For my meal, I ordered the steak frites that came with parmesan on top. For the price, it’s a really good deal for steak and fries. I ordered my steak medium and came out perfectly. The cut of meat was good and overall pleased with my meal. My buddy also orders the lamb burger and had good reviews as well. Would come here again! Make a reservation because it may be busy.

I found this place on the food network. They have some good tastes. I was only here for a short time but I’m glad I stopped in. I had the signature calamari topped with crab and alvocado. It was impressive. I see why the food network picked this place out. Side thought: this place is close to the Potomac river. You have to find time to walk near there and snap some pictures. It has some beautiful scenery. Food wise: the calamari/crab appetizer is worth a taste. Service: everyone there is beyond friendly and warm. They had my food out in 10mins or less from ordering Ambiance: the feel of an old school restaurant from the 60’s with a nice modern feeling mixed in. Price: well price and more than acceptable Eat well my friend. Eat well.

This Clyde’s deserves a high five compared to the Georgetown one. It’s a little packed inside, but still the same delicious and reliable food. Happy hour is always great here, although their lack of patio is a little disappointing. Not far from the theater, my friends and I tend to grab a bite and a flick. Last time I came in on a Friday night, probably should have had a res, but didn’t and got seated right away. They tried to seat us in an unappealing section, but working in a restaurant I asked for a new location and we were quickly reseated. Food and service are always fast. I got the salmon burger and fries, which I always love. Food is good and reasonably priced. Space can get a little crowded. But what are you going to do.

Hell Happy Hour!!! I was totally satisfied. Oysters especially. They are really fresh and clean. I tried oysters at many restaurants around here but this one is the best! I can not wait for the next time:)) Parking lot: Many free spots around the building. Atmosphere: Cool traditional restaurant pub. Clean. Lively. Fun. Crowded with ladies and gents. Oh, a pretty Koi carp pond outside. Price: Pretty good. 20% off in total before happy hour. 50%off raw menu and alcohol around $ 5. Fillet mignon steaks 5oz from $ 12.99. 12 wings $ 7. Taste: Awesome! They have 5 kinds of oysters. I ordered 12 first and found my favorite ones from MA and ordered another 6 of them. Also I like their black pepper wine vinegar sauce more than horseradish and ketchup. Oysters are fresh and tasty. Just lemon is good. Wings are crispy and juicy, which comes with a few sticks of celery and 1 sauce. Big shrimps were delicious too. Fresh boiled and rich. Staffs: They are fast and friendly and fun!!! Oyster shuckers are good and fast amazingly!

Restaurant très charmant où l’on peut y déguster des poissons très frais ou encore de la viande toute tendre. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité des plats, et le service est très agréable.
