Cosi Sandwich Bar

Food was ok, staff unfriendly and not personable at all, bathroom was probably the worst I’ve ever seen and the restaurant overall was not clean. This place grossed me out.

Not bad for a quick lunch. I’ve experienced much worse…

I popped in here one afternoon just to top off the tank and had the something fit salad and a bowl of tomato basil soup. I’m not going to say the food was amazing, but I did NOT get sick, and I walked away feeling satiated. The place was not crowded for a Saturday afternoon, so that was good. It was very fast service. Lots of seating, wasnt sure if there was WiFi. right next to the Metro and rel close to the Mall and NGA

Best breakfast in DC so far! The ingredients are fresh and hot. The coffee is very good and their prices are fantastic for the area.

This place is awesome… Had the bbq chicken flatbread… Hmmm melted away. Plenty of healthy options too… Don’t forget to try d blueberry agave lemonade… Really good.

I was hungry and found this place. My first clue should have been that it was empty compared to the busy places all around. I hope I don’t get food poisoning.

Absolutely filthy inside from dining to restrooms. Seemed lacking management in my opinion. Worker eating his bag of chips at front counter when grabbing a broom would have been better. Won’t be back.

This is the worst ever coffee experience I ever had in The capital city. The staff are extremely unfriendly, place is louder for a coffee place. I ordered Chai tea latte and I am still wondering where the tea is. I am only feeling the milk and the tea flavor is nowhere… Totally frustrated with this place !!!

I have gone to several Cosi’s throughout DC, Arlington, Alexandria, and Reston and I have never been to one that had such poor customer service and disappointing food. Seriously the manager should be ashamed of this place. We were the first ones up at the line and waited 15 minutes to finally place our order. Finally after getting to the front to place our order we were almost done when the cashier forgot to tell us that they don’t have avocados for their Chicken Mole sandwich– which we just ordered. It took another 15 minutes more for the lady to take our order! she could not understand what we were exactly ordering bc she couldn’t find it on the computer and she kept getting the order confused after we tried to correct her multiple times! All we ordered were a few chicken TBMs, a regular TBM as a «you pick two» with salads and a cheese flatbread pizza! Finally– it took forevever to get the food. To be exact our order receipt was stamped 6:25pm and we didn’t get our order until 7:05pm!!! We were thinking that they must be back there rolling out fresh dough for the flatbread sandwiches for them to be taking this long. (The other irritating thing is that there were only about 5 families waiting at their tables for their food. They actually closed their doors at 6:40 pm and locked them to new customers.)
We finally got our order and the flatbread pizza was hard as a crisp and it was COLD!!! Also another one of our orders was wrong. We decided we had to go up and ask for a credit at least for the wrong sandwich and pizza and they did decide to do that. That was the only positive. For the horrendous service we got we should have gotten a complete refund!
On top of all this the women’s and men’s bathrooms were completely a mess. Paper towels everywhere. The women’s bathroom’s trash can had been dumped over the floor and just filthy.
You would think that if the Cherry Blossom Festival was going on this weekend that as a manager you would have enough people on shift until close. By far the worst I have ever experienced in getting food.

Food is usual Cosi fare, which is pretty good. But this is definitely the worst Cosi I’ve ever been to as far as customer service. They screw up orders a lot, take forever, and always seem kind of rude. It’s still good food and I go regularly, but this Cosi is definitely a bit off.

Ok I typically love Cosi. But the set-​up of this one is just plain strange. And there should always be a menu behind the counter where you order, not off to the side. My memory is about as good as a goldfishes so don’t expect me to remember the name of an item for more than 30 seconds.
The actual food is standard Cosi fare. Nothing sensational but it’s not bad either.
