Okay, I stop here almost every other morning grant it I am not with the morning«rush» I never have a problem my order is always right and if not the management has always made the corrections. Overall I my opinion they do a great job.

Holy shit! Slowest ever. There are more workers behind the counter than customers. I ordered a wrap 8 minutes ago and just now saw them sling a tortilla on the counter.

So this is the most ratchet Dublin donuts I ever been in. The employees were slow, and in the midst of me ordering two employees come from the back and start arguing almost in fighting stance. The girl that took my order actually said«they better come out here and make this sandwich cuz I ain’t making shit» wether that is your duty or not don’t think I should know how bad you don’t want to make it. So after the manager finally steps in and grabs the two employees they come back out fussing again. I came for sandwich and coffee not a Maury episode. Will not return.

If you enjoy having to fight a crowd to get the attention of a Dunky’s employee to make the coffee you’ve already ordered(much like venturing into Adams Morgan on a Saturday night), then this is your kind of place. For the rest of us, I unfortuantely recommend the Starbucks on 7th.

Back when I was working at HUD, I felt privileged to have this hidden within our building’s walls. Coming from the West Coast, we only had Krispy Kreme. Once I started living in the East Coast, I was hooked on DD. Their coffee is not the BEST out there and I know it’s just mediocre, but I think the sentiment I grew for it made me come back for it every time. The staff working at this DD are always very friendly and helpful.

Do you work in or around L’Enfant plaza and sometimes get that feeling for a fat pill? I’m talking about donuts. And not just any donuts, Dunkin Donuts… and Dunkin Donuts coffee. HUD actually has a Dunkin Donuts tucked away within its walls. If you didn’t know about this, consider this your edjumacation. Go the HUD building at 4517th St SW. Use your government issued ID and go through the front doors. Flash that badge to the guards, empty your pockets of metal objects, go through the detectors, get inside an elevator and go to the 3rd floor. Follow the signs to the credit union, go past the ATM and make a left at the doorway for the Urban Café. Angels and harps will play that heavenly majestic sound in your head as you have discovered what you crave. It’s a very small cubby hole of a business, barely noticeable and easily missed. Take note, the donuts don’t arrive until around 8am or so. So if you’re and early riser, you might need to postpone your trip until it’s time. Besides the donuts, their menu includes various breakfast sandwiches made with biscuits, bagels and flat breads. The latest addition is the«smoke house». Egg, cheese and smoked sausage between two pieces of flat bread. I even saw a tuna fish sandwich. Not sure I’d want a tuna fish sandwich from Dunkin Donuts, but it’s there. I guess it’s the healthy choice of the menu. Current special: Buy 1, get 1 free between the hours of 3 and 4pm. Okay, now go tell all your friends.
