Dunkin’ Donuts

I stopped in here to get some donuts recently and couldn’t have been more pleased with the general mood and efficiency of service. This location embodies what every Dunkin’ Donuts should be: a moment of zen, a getaway – however temporary – from the hustle and bustle of pedestrian traffic, not to mention both convenient *and* accessible.
I guess I really don’t have much to say about this Dunkin’ Donuts otherwise, but, honestly, what more can you say? It does what it’s meant to do.

There is something wrong with this location of DD. It’s the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been here twice in the last 3 months and each time there’s a gaggle of employees providing rude and incompetent service. The DMV level of service is leaps above what is happening here.

This location has good customer service. They are nice and quick and rarely mess up your order. I have to take away 2 stars just on the basis of how unpleasant it is to be in there. It’s always incredibly hot in there! I literally break out into a sweat while waiting in line for my iced coffee. It’s a serious issue when it’s hotter in there than outside on a DC summer day.

Visiting DC and happy to see a Dunkin Donut around. Been a customer since gradeschool back in the Philippines. :)-love munchkins! :)

I’m a fan of DD but this is definitely a most subpar location. They seem to always be out of my desired baked good (especially pumpkin or blueberry muffins), seem to mess up orders with amazing frequency, and have the attitude and customer service normally featured at your local DMV office. My last visit featured a manager yelling at an employee about not setting a coffee down on the counter and instead handing it to the customer… as the customer stood awkwardly. Lines are also common here as at least 5 people were waiting for orders on a slow afternoon. I like their food so I’ll unfortunately be back, but this location needs to step up its game big time.

Disgusting. F*cking disgusting in fact. I’ve never had worse service in my life. First my number was called and I was handed the wrong order which was meant for my other friend and then was told mine would be a few more minutes before the sandwich was ready. Then my number was called again, and after being handed the order I went to my table and opened it to look. At that point I was yelled at by one of the staff to look at my receipt which I had already handed in. Then it was pointed out that I had the wrong sandwich again! And I said I had just opened it and offered to give it back but was told it was «too bad» since it’s open, and therefore I wouldn’t get the correct (and more expensive) sandwich. This is absolutely unacceptable. I was basically cheated and blamed for it despite it being fully the employees fault for continuing to give me the wrong order. I wasn’t even given my hash browns. I’m rarely this upset over a simple meal but then again I’m rarely treated so poorly. Whoever is in charge of training this team needs to get their act together and make some better decisions. I am shocked and appalled that anyone would treat a customer so poorly telling me it’s «too bad» and that I have to eat what I had opened and wouldn’t get the rest of my food. The conduct of the employees was outrageous and completely uncalled for.

This Dunkin Donuts is located next to the Metro Center metro entrance/​exit for 13^th and G. It could not be more convenient before work. The line can get very long in the morning but it never takes me more than 5 – 10 minutes to order. The staff are efficient and their bagels and donuts are good. However, their selection is super poor compared to other Dunkin Donuts. For example, for munchkins, they only have chocolate glazed, regular glazed, and jelly filled. Are you SURRRIOUS? Cinnamon and powdered sugar munchkins are where it’s at. Make sure you get the smartphone app because there are always specials on coffee, donuts, muffins, etc.

This is my work DD. It does a good job. They control crowd flow well with a 1980s bank line kind of setup. The coffee is DD quality. The staff handles the DD app payment pretty well. Decent donut selection. Nice space to sit inside or outside. Friendly staff.

My first Dunkin Donuts experience!
Since Dunkin is EVERYWHERE on the East Coast I decided to try it out while I was there. Thankfully I didn’t go in the morning when everyone is trying to get their caffeine on; the afternoons are much calmer. I ordered a plain donut and a black iced coffee. The donut was okay, I think it would have been better if it was warmed up a bit, but the coffee was good! I usually order coffee black so I can taste the quality of the coffee and this was definitely drinkable without cream and sugar.

Staff is pleasant, but somewhat lacking in competency. Place is kinda gross, even though its new. I’ve been only a few times, but they have messed up my order once. Given the other options for a pastry fix, I would go elsewhere.
