McDonald’s

After seeing a rat, I don’t think I have a lot more to say about this McDonald’s. This place should close due to sanitary reasons.

Went here first thing in the morning! Ordered a number 14, that’s the sausage burrito meal! It was STALE!!! From the morning before!!! Took it back to the counter, asked them was this fresh, and they looked each other, and apologized, then told the girl to give me a fresh burrito!!! Can you believe that!!! A fresh burrito!!! I just told them to give me my money back!!! I told them I didn’t think I had to ask for fresh breakfast!!!

I went to this mcdonalds when I was on a school trip in dc, I had spent over an hour trying to find the Shake Shack that was supposedly in Union Station but could not find it. At that point the three hundred or so high school students I was with were completely filling up the food court and everywhere had a long line, I went upstairs hoping to find something quick and I thought hey it’s mcdonalds this should be quick. Boy was I wrong with the five ish orders in front of mine it still took almost fifteen minutes before I got my food while watching people who had ordered long after me get their orders, I had ordered two sausage mcmuffins. The food was typical and tasted the same as every othe mcdonalds but the customer service was pretty awful and the wait I could have handled if I hadn’t seen so many people who had ordered after me get their food before me.

Worst McDonald’s ever! Long wait time for simple orders and a lot of confusion behind the counter. They forgot a significant part of our order, the patty! We were in such a hurry to get to decent place to sit down and eat that we didn’t check our order before leaving. I didn’t realize I had to check for the meat portion of my burger. The workers behind the counter were more concerned about talking with the security guards, then taking our order.

I was trying to order something, but cashier rather allowing other customers to «cut» thru the line than waiting for deaf person who is trying to order to finish ordering.

I never thought I’d see the day where I give McDonald’s anything above a one star rating, but it seems only fair when the staff are quick and efficient and there’s ample seating. The staff try to keep it clean. And sometimes you do just crave those fries and a $ 1 McChicken sandwich!

Meh. It’s a train station McDonald’s.
Fast food dreck. Judging by many of the other reviews here it is what it is.
After a super early morning trek into DC by way of Amtrak all I wanted was a quick breakfast meal and cup of hot java. Service was ok and there is seating here. Kind of a sketchy crowd occupying many of the tables when I was here. Not all that clean to me either.
Let’s be real people, some of you giving this place upwards of four stars really need to re-​evaluate your rating standards.
At least I can get all day breakfast here now. Egg McMuffins!

Since you don’t visit a place like McDonald’s at a train station like Union Station for fine dining and ambiance, my rating reflects a certain mindset. Keeping that in mind, I’m giving this location three stars. The food order is generally accurate, and if it isn’t the staff is quick to rectify the problem. The food is hot, fresh (by McDonald’s standards), and up to par for establishment norms. I appreciate that they haven’t given me stale fries, or a melted shake, etc.
Now, I’ll warn that Union Station can be a rougher environment at times. I once saw a massive group fight break out here and not one McDonald’s staff member stopped to call for help. A couple of them watched the incident taking place, but I was personally the only one to call for assistance. The environment has probably hardened the staff members outlook overall, so don’t expect them to be particularly cheery or helpful. They’ll get the job done, but that’s about all.
So, if you’re at The Station, and in need of a McMuffin, milk shake or nugget pack, this McDonald’s will do the trick.

No ability to write a review, because their early morning (6am) service barely exists. Twice last week, a walked up to a long ordering line (one register open) that wasn’t moving, waited a few minutes with no movement, then took my business elsewhere.

(6÷11÷2015) relatively speaking, for a McDonald’s this one is one of the best. The turn-​around time is very short; there’s a screen to show you what order number is up and what’s in the queue; there’s plenty of seating; they’re open really early, and really late (perfect for this transportation hub). It’s a high volume place, so the food stock is turned over quickly, meaning your food is pretty fresh (as much as a commercial behemoth can be). Got up at crack of dawn to get to a meeting and by 10:30 am was starving, an Egg McMuffin really hit the spot, plenty of hot protein and starch to fill you up (and yes a little grease to make it go down easy); coffee was piping hot (as much as can litigiously be allowed); hash brown was crispy-​greasy, just like I remember. I don’t often do McD’s, but this particular day it was just right.

I was in here the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day weekend. I didn’t grab any breakfast before I left to catch my bus back to New York City so I needed some. I decided to come here to get the steak egg and cheese bagel. I just ordered that, no value meal or beverage. Thankfully it didn’t take long and looked and tasted as it should.

This ain’t one of the prettiest McDonald’s around, but it doesn’t matter because the service is good and most of the customer-​travelers buy their food and depart quickly. Seating for eating-​in is adequate.

Its a Mc Donalds… nothing special, just a quick bite, cheap, fast… a good option when youre on the run.

The more you burp… the less you fart…
Came here while I was waiting to get picked up. the serivce is pretty fast… no long wait and I did like the fact there was unlimited refilles… I know most McDonald’s don’t have unlimited refills which piss me off
Im not a fan of fast foods i feel like its Greasy… per cooking method… High fat ratio of their meat… lower quality cheese… made with fatty milk… Those fresh vegetables that commericals like to mentione are far from fresh… And mustard has not only a highish fat content… it is made with sugar… also the fact that a teeny burger from mcdonalds rarely fills you up so you end up getting fries (which you already know are awful for you) or another burger etc…

I do not want to be the person who only writes so-​so reviews about eating establishments in Union Station. I love Union Station. It was my stomping ground when I was a kid and they had a movie theater downstairs in the food court. I’m THAT old. I know.
There is a tunnel that connects me to my job that is right next to the McDonald’s, so it’s easier to go there most mornings versus standing in the loooooong line at Starbucks for coffee. McDonald’s actually has superior coffee, by the way. But, for the most part, despite how hectic it is no matter what time of day you go, they get you in and out at a pretty decent speed. The employees are pretty nice for the most part, but you can tell on some days, they are just at full capacity. I almost had a ‘Madea’s Big Happy Family’ moment this morning, as I went a minute after breakfast was over (at 10:30 am) and got greeted by a full blast of attitude from someone when I inquired about the time. I am not a special snowflake that wants them to magically come up with a McGriddle when it’s Big Mac time, but I just asked a question and I am not saying what Madea did was right by driving her car through the place in the movie, but I understand.

Horrible! I ordered medium fries, but they only filled out half the carton — probably less than what i would have gotten if I had ordered small fries. I don’t expect very much from a McDonalds, but I think that this was unacceptable.

I don’t expect much from a minimum wage paying fast food chain like McDonald’s, but this one is the lowest of the low. Employees rest their heads on their elbows while taking orders and shrug their shoulders when an international customer is confused.
The chocolate shake I ordered wasn’t even stirred! The guy just layered the top of a vanilla shake with chocolate and handed it to me with whipped cream falling over the edge.
I recommend to ignore the fact there even is a McDonalds here and go downstairs.

I really like this store. It’s literally the end of the line for some rail lines and a convenient stop for grub. Fairly inexpensive and they have a full menu. You follow the signs above the registers to place your order and step to the left for your receipt number to be called. I’ve been there several times and their turnaround is pretty fantastic for the volume of orders that they get. I’ve always had the correct items in my order filled and get a smile with my service. This is a well kept secret since I’d rather let the bad reviews keep you away so that I can get my food, but I have to help my fellow Unilocalers!

Initially excited to see a McDonald’s here but I quickly learned after spending many an hour at Union Station waiting for trains that this McDonald’s is a zoo and they have the worst line management I have ever seen at a McDonald’s. It isn’t even really a line, it is just a bulge of people and you have no clue where to go. The employees just shrug their shoulders. They need one of the people standing behind the counter twiddling their thumbs to stand in front of the counter and form lines of people and control the human traffic. That would make visiting this place a much more pleasant experience.
It is very rare that I need something quick and delicious for a trip and DON’T choose McDonald’s. Unfortunately, this is one of those McDonalds that repels instead of attracts.

Ordered a quick breakfast snack this morning at the McDonald’s in Union Station — the Sausage Burrito.
Not only is the thing tiny, but there was virtually no detectable sausage in it. If you are looking for your morning fast food pork product breakfast fix — stick with a Sausage Biscuit or McMuffin product.
Line moved fairly quickly — there is quite a bit of seating here — although all of it was occupied.
