Very average American-Chinese food. I’ll be ordering from a different place next time. Ordered: General Tso Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Pu Pu Platter, and Shrimp Foo Young. My boyfriend was so disappointed because it was our cheat meal.

This is great lazy sunday order-in chinese food. It’s nothing more than that but will definitely hit the spot. the crab rangoons are on point.

If you’re all high maintenance and fancy, and frequently complain about the quality of your food(probably a good portion of Unilocalers) this place isn’t for you. But if you’re like me and you are used to bulletproof-glass-Chinese-joints, this place will treat you just fine. The food I’ve had has been outstanding. General Tso’s, Szechuan Chicken, and Crispy Fried Beef which I might be addicted to. And I’d much rather have Thai than Chinese. It’s not just me. Read these other reviews. Most of the bad ones say they really used to like it before such-and-such experience happened to them. Maybe it’s a matter of time before those things happen to me(which will suck) but in the meantime I’m enjoying my tasty meals and not getting sick from them. Another small gem on U which I’ll probably take a date to at some point just because it would be so random(disclaimer — I’m not a hipster).

My husband was ordering large quantities here for his office. Everyone loved the food! Then he was going to order again for their Chinese New Year lunch. He was told«Please don’t order from them anymore… there were cockroaches fried onto the fried chicken!!!» Now after reading their reviews here, I see they have had this problem with cockroaches in the food since 2010! How gross! Why is the health department not making them clean the place up. I will never ever go here. In fact my husband brought home some chicken wings from another place and I can’t even stomach the thought of ever eating wings out again! I clicked one star here because you can’t leave it blank…

I’d ordered the drunken noodle with chicken several times in the past and it has always been great… This time, I ordered with shrimp and it was absolutely terrible… A completely different taste(which they said was made with fish sauce when we called). We also ordered the crispy shredded beef… said to be served with carrots and celery(still trying to find those) We called to complain… they offered to remake it but nothing further. Not worth the money or the hassle… hoping we don’t get sick.

We ordered a couple of different chicken dishes, to be delivered via Seamless. The delivery was pretty quick, but unfortunately the food was gross. Also, there was a $ 1 delivery fee. I don’t think we’ll be ordering from here again.

Eh, this makes me sad. Everything I had there was delicious. Really freaking good actually! Unfortunately, I hadn’t checked this place out. Now that I know it’s got a roach problem, I can not order from there again. It’s terrible because they even have bubble tea :(I’d give it 4 – 5 stars if they didn’t have pest problems.

The general tso’s chicken is not good and is overpriced. Very disappointing. However, they did deliver in the snow.

I am biased by my obsession for egg drop soup, but theirs was really strongly chicken broth flavored in an intense way that wasn’t good. It also had a million raw spring onions added at the last minute but I guess some people enjoy that. The pork fried rice however, was really good. General Tso’s was mediocre.

Felt sick after eating a few bites of chicken broccoli. Something didn’t seem right about it. I didn’t have it examined by a professional but, just saying, I hope I was the only case. Called to let them know and to my surprise their wasn’t much concern on their part or attempt to keep me as a happy costumer. Hope it’s just a fluke.

Quick, lots of food, and cheap. This is my go-to place for Chinese delivery. They have an excellent selection and vegan options. The food is tasty and I am a big fan of their General Tso’s Chicken.

It was gross! The food was bland and had an off taste. The only thing that saved our dinner was the wonton soup. This place got good reviews I have no clue why!!!

Fast, easy, delicious delivery. You can order online through Foodler for a small delivery fee($ 1) with a $ 10 minimum( ). I love their crystal shrimp dumplings, which are small steamed shrimp dumplings in that sticky-clear kind of dough. They come with a sweet soy sauce and are delicious. I also liked their steamed vegetable dumplings, which are also served with the sweet soy sauce but have a thicker, more bready dough. The Mei fun noodle soup with shrimp was quite delicious as well. It was a HUGE portion for only $ 7.95. The only item I wasn’t crazy about was the miso corn soup. When I read«miso corn soup,» I imagined miso soup(like you get at a sushi restaurant) with baby corns in it or something. What it actually is is egg drop soup with chicken and baby corns. Very confusing, as the soup is nothing like traditional miso soup at all. It would just be nice if their food items on Foodler had more descriptions with them. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. Ordering on Foodler was simple and seamless, my order was correct, and it was delivered extremely fast.

This is a very easy review for me… Step 1 — Order on-line from an easy to navigate large menu Step 2 — Pay with your stored CC information for delivery to your stored address Step 3 –Wait a mere 30 minutes Step 4– Eat decent enough Chinese takeout to justify a redoing of steps 1 — 4. Good food, good price, efficiently delivered to your door(not your building lobby) by people who clearly value their patrons time. The end.

2.5 stars Since I don’t live in the neighborhood, I can only rate this on their take out food. Insert usual disclaimer about this being an americanized Chinese takeout food review, not a genuine Chinese food review. The lunch special was slightly better than average Chinese takeout fare. Your lunch special comes with a spring roll(singular) and fried/white rice, and it was served quickly. I had the general tsao’s chicken, which wasn’t too greasy, and exactly what I wanted on a cold day. Boba/Bubble Tea gets negative stars. Had I at long last found the hidden treasure in DC? I have been on a three year long QUEST for boba tea in the city, and alas, this was another failure. Why oh why did I waste $ 3.50 on this? The bubbles were fine(a first), but the tea itself was watery and gross. Couldn’t even finish it. I can brew stronger tea at home!

It’s evening… You’re lazy … Time to call Peking Express. Do you know they’ll deliver bubble tea? Good cheap delivery, let you pay by card over the phone, and they have vegan/vegetarian stuff of course(however, can you really know?) and I dig the General Tso’s TVP.(Last time I asked, no non-dairy milk for bubble tea, but you can get a «slushie» or «smoothie» or whatever and it doesn’t require milk).

I had ordered from here a couple of times and actually thought the food was pretty decent for your average Chinese take-out. Then last night, we ordered again, and after eating over half of the food, we found a freaking roach in our food. I really wish I was joking about this. It was a small roach, I guess, but that’s not really relevant when you’re talking about food. I uploaded pics of it in case you don’t believe me.
