Went to Pret a Manger for breakfast this morning. Amazing sandwiches and the latte was brilliant!!! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Clean and healthy food. I would go here every day for breakfast if I was here longer! Definitely recommend!!!

I had a bad experience here this morning. The workers at the other side of the counter were definitely not paying attention to me. I asked if they still carry love bars and the cashier said no. I checked the counter area and found love bites instead(basically smaller version). They’re basically the same but she didn’t inform me about these ones. I also ordered for a soy hazelnut latte but they made a regular one instead. The barista obviously was not paying attention or didn’t hear the cashier say what the order was. I had to wait longer than expected.

The food quality at this branch has decreased dramatically in the last month. I ate here several times a week for at least two years. Now I’m absolutely turned off. The sweet potato and cauliflower hot bowl used to be light and tasty and I bought it frequently last winter. When I bought it yesterday it was swimming in oil. Disgusting! I loved the new quinoa bowls, especially the beet one. The last four times I bought it, the beets were mostly raw. Maybe not a problem if they were served shredded, but for this dish they’re served in big chunks. The bad experiences have been frequent enough now that I will regretfully say goodbye to what had been a delightful healthy restaurant and look for a new lunch place.

First timer here. Got a coffee, water, and egg & bacon baguette. The baguette was not what I expected, it exceeded my expectations. The egg salad was not overly«mayo-y» and had the right amount of pepper and the bacon went well with it. The best part, all three was under $ 8, which is unheard of in DC(at least to me). I’ve seen similar sandwiches for $ 8 by itself. Not a coffee snob, so I can’t comment on it. I drank it just to stay awake for a meeting.

I’ve loved Pret A Manger since moving to DC; it’s always quick and I seriously love their light roast coffee. Sadly, this is one of the few places in and around the FW metro that has decent coffee past 6pm. I’m also a huge fan of calorie counts listed on every item, which helps the wannabe healthy guy inside of me happy because I don’t have to play the guessing game with myfitnesspal. The absolute next part about this Pret, however, is the location: step off the Farragut West Metro and you’re here!

Three of us had sandwiches and they are delicious. Very fresh and the favors are wonderful.

Spontaneously took a detour here before visiting Lincoln’s house. Decided to grab a quick bite here, and it was definitely a good choice. Everything seriously tasted fresh. Had a salmon tzatziki flatbread and a Maine lobster roll. Sandwich range from $ 5 – 10 dollars but it’s definitely worth it. Makes me realize fast food can be just as good as restaurants. Also their chai lattes was really good. They steep the tea bag and make it. Healthier choice than Starbucks. A great grab and go place or even a casual dine in place. It’s so fresh, you could buy it, unwrap it and tell your date you decided to cook for them.

The quality of the food here has consistently gone down. I used to love getting a chocolate croissant here because it was flaky and warm. Now when I get it it’s not flaky but mushy and isn’t always warm. I ordered a iced chai latte today which turned out to be a cup of ice milk with a chai tea bag in it. I don’t drink this often but I imagine it shouldn’t taste like a cup of milk. I probably won’t be going back unless I’m so lazy and happen to be coming out the metro escalators.

The salad is quite tasty and I also love the sandwich in here ! It combines both Asian food and American food

Happiest Place on Earth? This shop was crowded(for a good reason) but it was a good crowd. The manager, barista, and the rest of the staff went way out of their way to make sure that everybody was having a good time and not at all stressed out by the buzz in the room. I had a crisp and fluffy chocolate croissant(made on-site every hour), berry topped yogurt, and a coffee. The rest of the clan had various pre-prepared breakfast sandwiches that all tasted fresh as well. The portions were not huge, but the prices were more than reasonable, so consider me pleased. As we walked out the door, we were bid farewell with a chorus of Thank-you’s for visiting.

I am truly thankful for places like this. No anti-biotic meat makes my heart smile. And all natural foods makes eating here so EASY(unlike other places, like Panera). So far, Pret A Manager and Cosi are my go to «girls» when I am out and about and need to grab lunch. The beet juice was $ 7 but delicious and worth every penny. I wish all places were like this!

Great decaf soy latte on the first night but the second night there wasn’t any froth and very little taste.

For a chain this is one of my go-tos when I need something quick and decently tasty. Some of the better things on their menu: the hot falafel marinara wrap, banh mi Vietnamese sandwich(no longer offered I think), and the bacon mac n cheese. The sandwiches look fresh and I think they are made daily. The pastries are OK, as is the tomato feta soup. I do not like their chai at all, tastes flavorless. Even though I generally enjoy the food I wouldn’t recommend this place based on price and portion size. You can easily spend $ 13 on food(no drink) and still be hungry. There are other places that taste better for a cheaper price.

I confess to going to Pret at least once a week. Its prime location and super convenient yet tasty foods keep pulling me back. But if I had to choose one item and one item only to buy from here, it would, no doubt, be their almond croissant. Absolutely delicious! Their pain au chocolat or chocolate croissant is also very good, arguably one of the best I’ve ever had from any bakery. Almost unbelievable that some of the best freshly baked croissants that I’ve ever had come from a British chain. These croissants are right up there with the pastries I’ve had from Paul, if not better. Anyway, Pret is highly recommended if you’re hankering for a scrumptious, not overly sweet filled croissant.

What a wonderful destination to arrive at as you exit the Farragut West metro station(blue line). This place almost has a bright Starbuck-est feel to it. The food was oh so delicious. I got the avocado wrap, Mediterranean Seafood Stew, Carrot Cake and Strawberry Lemonade. The Wrap As soon as I bit into the wrap I could taste the freshness. I was happy with every bite. The Stew Typically when I buy soups and stews I have to add pepper to them. This stew had the perfect amount of seasonings, along with enough seafood to have a piece of seafood with every delectable spoonful. The Strawberry Lemonade O to the M to the G. I’ve never tasted strawberry lemonade this good and over the years I’ve had a ton of different varieties. The Carrot Cake If I did not open the box to get this little piece of heaven out, you could not have paid me to believe the carrot cake came out of a box. It tasted like it came straight from grandma’s kitchen. The cake is kept in the refrigerated section, which is fine with me because I like my carrot cake cold. The Price They are a bit pricey, however I am sure a lot of the cost is calculated into their location. My daughter got the egg salad sandwich, along with a bag of popcorn. She said they were delicious. This meant a lot to me because she is a finicky teenager. My boyfriend got the avocado sandwich, along with the Mediterranean Stew, Ginger Bear(can) and carrot cake. He is also finicky and was thoroughly impressed with the freshness and presentation of his meal. I highly recommend this place and will be going back again.

Although initially skeptical, I became quite a fan of Pret A Manger, all the more so once discovering their huge ‘n filling bagettes. My former complaint was that the little sandwiches cut on the diagonal and put into triangle boxes did not keep me full much past ~2 hours after eating. The bagettes, though, go on and on and are crispy with yummy ingredients, despite the pre-made nature of P.A.M. I was particularly surprised by the chicken bagettes, which have the perfect combination of veggies to delightfully soft, flavorful protein. Yum! As for breakfast, croissaints are nice if you’re by P.A.M. at breakfast but not worth the extra trip. Staff is always friendly in my experience and there is typically places to grab a table with a view here.

I know, I know… I am writing a review for a fast food chain, but I can hardly hold back my excitement! I spent quite some time working in London last year and fell in love with Pret done UK-style… they always had delicious creative items on the shelves — crawfish sandwiches, shrimp wraps, Thai-inspired salads, Mediterranean plates. Every time I came back home I would walk into this Pret, look around, sigh and walk away. How much less creative could DC Pret’s menu be? Baguettes? Plain bread sandwiches? Caeser salads? No more! Happy to report that a miracle transformation has happened about a few months ago! Now Pret sells lobster rolls(at a steal $ 8.99!), scottish wild salmon salads, 8 or 9 different types of wraps, with my all time favorite avocado-pine nuts, and many other delicious things. Thanks for a great update to your menu!

My wife and I found this an essential place to hit while in London, so this chain wasn’t new to us. As we expected, the sandwiches are very fresh, and the food is tasty. We visited on a Sunday, so I don’t know if this is representative, but the food selection was a bit sparse. I wondered if they produced less food because of their«always fresh» policy. Overall, a good lunch. :)
