I really like this place. I have never been to, but I deliver from it several times a week. Maybe there is not a big diversity in the menu, but count the«make your own» category and the possibilities are limitless. They always pay attention to the changes and extras I request and they have a super fast delivery. The friendly delivery people are the cherry on top of the cake.

So I got turned around in the GINORMOUS food court/Food world known as L’Enfant plaza the other day. Running short on time, I headed to the place with the shortest line. This never a good sign. I was immediately approach by the counter person. That’s always good! Totally taken off guard, I stepped back and said that I have never been here or even heard of Sandella’s! Nothing out of the ordinary but I thought I would give it a chance. Wraps, burritos, quesadillas, paninis, rice bowls and flat bread pizzas. What struck me as odd was that it appeared that the«wrap» was used for everything!!! I ordered a steak rice bowl. It was served on a lightly toasted flour tortilla and formed into a bowl… Different and I have no problem withthat… Maybe I would ask for the grilled tortilla on the side. It started out as a quesadilla with all of the usual suspects and brown rice… I didn’t think too much about this until they prepared a quesadilla. They pretty much repeated the same steps with the same products. Roll up a burrito, wrap a wrap and fold up a panini. All wee using the same«shell». I will say that the onions and peppers were very fresh and crunchy. but the salsa was bland. The steak had nice texture but was a little on the dry side. Overall the product was just ok.

This place is pretty petty. I came in search of a salad and they only had 2 salad options listed on their menu. I ordered the Fiesta Salad, which seemed like a Southwestern salad with chicken, black beans, corn, tomatoes and lettuce. The first thing that ticked me off was that it cost too darn much. It almost cost $ 9, which is RIDICULOUS! It’s never that serious to pay that much for a salad. So, I move on from that and I watch the worker make my salad and I see that she hasn’t touched half of the offered ingredients behind the sneeze guard. I politely ask for cheese and she said it cost extra. Umm, what? It’s a Southwestern salad, why doesn’t it already include cheese? Needless to say, the salad was just okay, but if I have to get nickle and dimed for each additional item in a salad, then clearly this isn’t the place for me. PS I enjoy cucumbers and croutons in my salad, but apparently if the cheese cost extra, I know adding those items would’ve cost me an arm and a leg. Just Petty!

I go here at least once a week when I am at L’enfant and I am hooked on the Pesto Chicken Flatbread. It’s delicious, healthy, and I get it quick. For a pizza nut like me, this is a surprisingly original and tasty alternative. Would definitely recommend to everyone :)

The office just ordered. You can NEVER please EVERY one! I enjoyed my Mongolian bowl +chicken. M. had the Athenian Omelet and said it was good. J. ordered the Hawaiian salad and enjoyed it. L. let hers get cold so she had to warm up her Philly grill, it was like a pizza on flatbread. W. and L both had the creamy crab soup and said it was nice. H. ordered the steak bowl, he is a complainer, said it was overpriced even though nothing came out of his pocket. N. said the bread was dry on her bowl. I didn’t eat the bowl because it is wheat and I don’t eat wheat. The smoothies were great because I don’t do dairy. The smoothies are made of fruit. We ordered the four berry smoothie. Yum for me, M thought it was too sweet. N. and H had the sweet potato fries and enjoyed them. G didn’t like her bowl, but I think she should have left off the teriyaki sauce. The delivery was quick considering the distance — 4.3 miles. We will do it again and try to make everyone get something different. I said TRY.

Sandella’s offers poor quality food at high prices. Ordered a chicken wrap consisting of processed chicken, lettuce, and sauce in a tortilla. $ 9. My cashier was brusque and rude, like I was wasting her time. I get it’s not an especially enjoyable job, but they can’t hire people who actually have a positive attitude or patience with customers? Would not recommend to anyone.

Recommend the veggie and provolone panini which was tasty. Sandwich was tasty. Also recommend getting a soda which seemed fresh and bubbly. Service from Tadelech fast seemed faster after waiting for a question to be answered by an amiable elderly guy who later conferred with Rosa. Note that it took half as much time to get a sandwich today compared to last time I visited so service times appear to be improving.

I believe this Sandella’s moved here from M St, so this is the only Sandella’s location in DC. But yay for more good restaurants in L’Enfant Promenade! Pretty delicious! I got a panini and was confused because it looked like a wrap, but if you look on the website, they use the wrap(or their ‘flatbread’) and press it on the panini grill. It was PACKED with stuff! And super fresh and super hot. It took at least 5 – 10 minutes to make, but it was pretty worth it in the end. I got the chicken delicato panini, and there was PLENTY of chicken, and plentyyy of red peppers. I almost burned my tongue multiple times because I was so excited about eating it, but it was so fresh and hot and juicy that it almost ended all my tastebuds immediately. I think a lot of people had issues with the blandness – I have to say it was pretty minimal, but for someone who prefers healthy over ridiculous amounts of fat and unnecessary added ingredients, this was perfect. The staff is friendly, too bad they only have one bench there, though and a round patio table that’s a little bit awkward in the little space by their beverage dispensers…
