This «new» restaurant in Water Mill is from the same owners at Via Quadronno in New York City, but you wouldn’t know it. They took over the space that previously housed «Mirko’s». Mirko’s has been closed for years but Via Del Mare has resurrected it as it was. They did not change the décor at all. They left the stained carpet, soiled curtains and chipped paint. It is a depressing space in need of renovation. I was looking forward to eating some of the specialities served at Via Quadronno but there was not one familiar item. The food was adequate but the prices were high for the dinghy room and slow service. I’m not going back.
