Went to sell my gold coins. They were very friendly, gave me the best price I could find(including the internet) and paid on the spot. I would recommend to anyone selling maple leaf gold coins.

What a great place to buy precious metals. They charge a small percentage over the spot price for silver coins and bars. Nice guys, very knowledgeable. Old-school type of place.

This store has an amazing museum-like array of coins and currency that are really cool. But my main experience with them has been in selling my old gold jewelry for scrap, and it’s been a very positive experience. I had never sold gold scrap until last year, and I researched it a lot before I went anywhere. I looked up how to weigh jewelry and convert it to troy ounces, then how to multiply that by the current rate and deduct some for what you realistically can get for scrap, etc. My husband used his lab scale at work to weigh everything, etc. My point is, we went to a lot of trouble to be accurate about what we could expect to get. But then we had to choose where to go. One of the best articles I read was a local article which quoted Frank Hendrickson(from Coins & Currency of Wayne) saying that if a place won’t quote you over the phone on their prices then you shouldn’t go in. This really made sense and we called a number of places in downtown Philly as well as several towns in the suburbs. No one gave me a clear answer except Frank, who I called last on purpose to make sure he was good for his word. We went right in and he gave us more than we expected for our old stuff. We were very pleased and we’ve been back two more times since then, very happy and satisfied every time. Frank is a really bright guy, and is always helpful and professional.
